How do you programme the Maxkon robot vacuum?

You do not need to program it apart from setting the date and time on the remote control as well as the scheduled clean start time and then you only need to point the remote at the unit and press the button to send the data (to which it then beeps when set). One draw-back, if the vacuum battery runs down completely (e.g. unable to find base station before running battery down fully) you have to resend the date/time/start schedule from the remote again. It runs a very good auto program to intelligently clean large areas in a mix of regular and random patterns. It also has a good auto wall and small incremental movements around objects and corners, especially when getting itself out of tight spots. Due to its small dirt cartridge, you will need to empty it daily. The front spinning brushes break regularly, so be prepared for replacing those a few times a year. Finally, the unit is not completely automatic according to floor surfaces, it will only do wet mopping or floor vacuuming, not a combination of both. Therefore, if you want floors mopped, you install the wet mopping cartridge and mop cloth, then, if you want carpets vacuumed, you replace the wet cartridge with the dry vacuum dirt cartridge.
