Be warned. Mecca will ask for your proof of identity (driver’s licence & utility bill) even if you have bought multiple times from them.
Who knows what they can misuse those documents for. Neither is there a secure way to provide these to them. Simply an email with attachments.
And it’s basically holding you hostage. Provide the docs or the order will be cancelled.
Great services and reasonable prices
Visited Chatswood and broadway stores, all sales representatives are friendly. Shiseido products are made in Japan and in reasonable prices. Happy with my purchases.

Products have no issues. Live chat customer service can be improved a lot. The girl called Lisa was rude and grumpy. She doesn't even know what I exactly complaining about and what exactly in the email I sent to her manager before she replied: you can go ahead to contact ombudsman as you wish. I am just asking her to ask her manager to reply my email. That is all. It seems like they are having a little friends circle within a company to protect each other from unhappy customers. Not professional at all. Don't get any issues with them. They can only say sorry. That's all! Or the worst you will get Lisa to talk to you.

Non-existent customer service. Very disappointing
I have placed a substantial order almost 3 weeks ago. On Mecca's tracking, my parcel arrived at the sorting centre on the same day I placed it. Everything stalled from here and I have been unable to get an answer from Mecca on what the issue is. Exasperated I have now requested the order to be cancelled, and a refund processed - this after a chat query and email query and a phone call to them without resolving my issue. Yesterday I spent over 30 minutes holding on to get through to the customer service centre. The service assistant told me that...the "transaction would just disappear" when the order is cancelled, but couldn't fathom that I was expecting to see a refund on my card statement. 24 hours later, nothing has happened. And so it goes round and round. It seems like Mecca is happy to take your money, and then have you play chase to figure out what is going on. Zero care and zero accountability. I won't be buying from them online again.
Demanding sensitive documentation
Ordered from them previously without issue, this time however I paid in full, only to get an email saying my order would not go through unless I provided a picture of licence or passport along with utility proof. Even though I phoned them from the number I have attached to my order, I was told if I didn’t produce sensitive documentation my order would not go through and it would make future orders difficult...I would not be able to shop online. I’m not sure they realise they are a company that sells makeup not a big bank or government entity.
I ordered some make up on line, on the Friday. And to my absolute shock I received the items by express post first thing Monday morning. After dealing with their competitors who took 13 days to arrive. I will always use Mecca from now on. And the products were brilliant.
Zero customer service
Have been emailing Mecca for over 3 weeks.
Beauty loop level not correctly increased on my account. Zero response to emails to management. Really disappointed
Damaged product sent. No one responded to email
I bought Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Magic Cream and it was sent used! I have sent Mecca three emails and tried calling but gave up at 20 minutes. Not sure how they are still in business if this is how they work. I’m so disappointed
Not up to scratch anymore
I’ve been ordering more from Adore Beauty recently (because c’mon, loads of samples, tim tams, and amazing delivery - plus great benefits on their loyalty system!), but thought I’d go back to Mecca for a couple of products as I love Sunday Riley, plus new Charlotte Tilbury collection - and they’d sent over the beauty loop box email. Only to log in and realise they are unable to send any samples or boxes at this time, plus delivery delays due to demand - and quite a few products out of stock with no delivery date. I had only received my beauty l...oop email two days prior. Mecca, step up your game. We’ve had covid and lockdowns for almost two years, you understand the new market reality and demand, this is intensely disappointing and just pushing my entire share of wallet back to Adore Beauty.

Product Lost, No Refund - AVOID!
I placed an order on Sept. 8th but it was not delivered to the address provided. I have logged this with Mecca and have been told the courier left the parcel in a public place near the delivery address and therefore you are absolved of any responsibility to resend or refund the cost. I was advised by NSW Fari Trading that the seller is responsible for resolving any issues with Australia Post or the courier company used to deliver the product - not the customer. However to date Mecca have closed my case without delivering my products or providing a refund.
They banned me for not having the house bill on my name.
I was banned from their website because I didn’t have the house bills on my name it’s on my husbands name.
Very poor online customer service
Recently purchased a skincare product via click and collect. They sold me an item which was due to expire one month from when I bought it. Try as I might to get in touch with them via email, all I get is the same template response. I've escalated to a complaint two weeks ago and zero response. Very disappointed in the sharp decline in customer service of late, COVID is no excuse, it's been 18 months, get your act together.

Burnt Face From Face Mask Sheet
On Monday 20.09.2021 I did a Mecca bubble sheet on my face that I received for a birthday present on the 26.08.2021 within the 3 minutes I had it on my face I felt quite itchy after showering my face was burning and I had realised my whole face was burnt I was horrified I’ve spent the last 4 days off work as I cannot go out into the sun and my face has never felt so sore I’ve never had a reaction to any product before I thought it must have been a Kmart mask for this to happen only to find out it was from Mecca I was so upset your product has s...o severely burnt and damaged my skin I rarely get pimples let alone what happened after using your product my skin is burnt and I’ve been on steroid cream all week as that’s the only thing that doesn’t burn my face on the chance it helps heal and doesn’t scar my face after this happened I went straight into Mecca for them to give me face care products to HELP my skin from this ($240) later not realising there products were what caused this damage in the first place I’m so devastated and would never buy from there again

Hi Susie. Mecca doesn’t stock Veldere. You need to buy from Veldere directly online although I think they are out of the serum at the moment.
