I've only gone in-store once. everyone was helpful . I thought there was too many staff. (5 for a Tuesday morning fountain gate....) It's nice Mecca is keeping lots of people employed and the products are definitely expensive enough but If I didn't know exactly what I needed I would have been way too intimidated to go in and I kind of felt uncomfortable browsing further.
Online colour match tool is great, I am very happy I trusted it. Delivery was quick and gift with delivery was a good touch.

I received an order of skin care products. In a Kiehls duo set I purchased the eye cream was missing. I sent a few emails and called customer service asking for my missing item or a refund. Reading the reviews on mecca's customer service I did not thinks the matter was going to be resolved. Whilst it took around 4 days, I did receive a reply offering for my missing item to be sent to me or a full refund. Within 5 minutes or less of my reply with my request they sent an email confirming the product was being sent to me attached with a tracking number. I'm happy with the outcome. I'm definitely confident to order with mecca again.

Just received my order. Colours of lipstick and eyeshadow are not really what was represented colours much darker. Not your fault Mecca. I’m sure you are trying. Be careful when choosing and understand this may happen. Ps. I also purchased blush and am very happy with the colour.

Bought Two Faced extreme lip gloss and definitely doesn’t work. When you first put it on it burns your lips but doesn’t plump them. After a few times it stopped burning all together And not once did I have plump lips . Just do Fillers!

The staff at the Chadstone store are always so friendly and helpful, it can occasionally be hard to find specific products but typically easy to get help to do so.

I shop at Mecca stores regularly online and in store. The instore experience is always positive and the staff are friendly and approachable. They offer suggestions and also introduce me to new products. The products might seem expensive but that's because they are exclusive to Mecca. They also have a fantastic loyalty program.
Edit: As I continue to shop with them, I find some staff in some shops to be indifferent and not really helpful, and others are so positive and helpful and help me choose the right product for me. Their online customer service has been good for me because they responded to my emails and solved the issues very quickly.
Used to love Mecca and buy only from them all the time for years. But lately noticed that every time I go in to purchase a staple that I always use, the price on it rises more and more. I used to be a beauty loop level 3 but now I shop at Sephora or else where. If you guys think that by rising a price on something by $3 every month will be left unnoticed by your customers and at the same time not accepting afterpay because your too cool for it is just wrong. I won't be surprised if your business will go down hill in no time with this attitude.

I have used there website which I dont always like, as everytime there is a sale I feel they dont have much in stock levels. Id prefer to go into the store and find what I need plus i can try colours first before purchasing. Staff are always helpful.

I LOVE everything about this business - their physical and online stores. But I find their Customer Service/online contact system lacking. I spent enough $$'s online to qualify for the 1-2 day express shipping, but in the end the courier company let us all down. But the thing is, I sent an online enquiry (12/05/19) to MECCA about this - and to date (it's now 21/05/19), I still haven't received a word back from them. My delivery, of course arrived the following Monday (even though I received notification from them that I'd get it close of busine...
Read moress Thursday the previous week), but the fact that I received no response or follow up from them is disappointing. I spend hundreds of dollars with MECCA every year because I really do like them; the fact that I keep spending money with them is proof of that - but when they don't deliver (albeit via their contracting courier), and then don't respond to your enquiry, it makes you wonder whether they even care about keeping your business at the end of the day? Not only that, if their chosen courier service is being paid for express service but aren't providing that - isn't that something they would want to take up them for not keeping up their end of the deal?Find out how Mecca Cosmetica compares to other Services

Took a week and half to deliver. Disappointing that there were no notifications/updates on when items would be delivered. Items usually dispatched within a day.

Great and helpful staff and they sell some of the best brands. However, I would have liked some consistency across their stores. Some stores missing some of the best seller brands or beauty staples.

I am always happy with products variety from Mecca. Love the customer service. I just dislike how they don't offer discounts and benefits for the members. For example at Sephora, points that I accumulate I can exchange with voucher or products, while Mecca only gives free complimentary makeup service and beauty loop boxes. Also, please add ZipPay/AfterPay to make in-store and online shopping experience better

I was after Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow but couldn't find it on the shelves so I asked for assistance. A shopping assistant replied that the product was discontinued and suggested looking at some other brands. She couldn't find an individual eyeshadow of the colour that I needed so ended up buying a box of 3 colours two of which I don't use. Several weeks later I browsed their website and was shocked to find the original product that I had asked for available online. Quite disappointed with my shopping experience.

Shopping at Mecca ‘online’ is a dream together with the exemplary back end customer service .l also love the free sample gifts as was the packaging. Moreover, the delivery period is exceptionally fast (2 days!), Sadly, I can no longer say the same for the customer service at Armadale (High St Melbourne) and in Albert Park or Chadstone. The once nurturing and enthusiastm extended to a frequent consumer over many years has been replaced by brusk at best and often haughty manners by staff leaves me feeling flattened rather than elevated. Read morent occasions over the last 12 months, I’ve been quietly open to being upsold additional products but the loss of any care factor and a lack of any rapport building skills has left me cold. Last visit, It was unusually quiet in store. I explained to a staff member that the highlighter product I’d bought was not giving much impact across evening hours and I was looking for a further one with more pop for evenings. Said staff member roughly applied a sample on one cheekbone of the hourglass powdered highlighter. I think she thought it acceptable to leave me to walk with one highlighted cheekbone and none on the other. Since no offer was made to remove it after trialling it, I asked if she would mind applying same to the other cheek as I was looking a bit lopsided. I could see she wanted to bump me, but having specifically made the trip through heavy traffic, I was hoping to leave with a new purchase. To this end, I went on to ask if Mecca had any other highliter I could compare it with as I wanted a more dewy effect. She dismissed me on the spot with the line that ‘...there are sooo many options I can look for myself...’ On other occasions, I’ve felt like they perceive me as a veritable shop lifter if I ask to try out more than one product. Sometimes I like to test out a few options before making my ultimate purchase. As a Beautyloop Three consumer, for over six years, I am now opting to shop online for the bare essentials and there is never an element of impulse buying that was once a frequent indulgence in part, due to the joy of being served by experienced, patient and highly knowledgeable staff. WHat Is Going On Here? Increasingly more floor staff are Cold and devoid of any care factor These days, I think even Joan Collins would feel intimidated by shopping in store at Mecca, save for at Myer where they continue to indulge and seduce me into buying many more products than I entered knowing I wanted or needed. I’m sure the Founder would be horrified by the generally dismissive, impatient service delivery and what I perceive to be a blatant sense of superiority Expressed by increasing numbers of Mecca staff. Here did all the gorgeous ones go with their heavenly brush stroke applications and warm smiles. This new generation are sadly eroding the Mecca brand and the sense of elevation I previously had a sneaky addiction for. Apologies for the expansive review, I mean, novella. I have written this with an absence of any malicious. More in the spirit of advocating for a return to my once much loved cosmetic house of indulgence - not the pit stop it has become in recent times.Questions & Answers
Wondering how my friend received a $100. Gift card and a tube of sunscreen without contacting your company?
has anyone bought the Veldere Radiance + Repair serum? my dermatologist gave me a sample and I'm trying to find where to buy it online, please help
Hi Susie. Mecca doesn’t stock Veldere. You need to buy from Veldere directly online although I think they are out of the serum at the moment.
