Bargain – We bought this particular lap top in 2009 primarily because we were going away and didn't want a baby sized computer. Well, neither of us have been disappointed in it's performance to say the least. It has proved reliable, powerful and, far from being the computer we use occasionally, it become my only computer 18 months ago. Good keyboard. Decent speakers for a lap top. Very highly specified for the price. Nothing actually wrong or has going wrong....slightly heavy to carry around.
Great laptop for one very low price! – Puchased in May 2011 to do Graphic Design work on. I have got to say it has outdone itself. It may only have an i3 processor, however I have never had in problems with speed or performance. The 750gb hard drive is a very generous size for the low $699 I paid for it, as is the generous 16" screen. Admittedly the screen quality isn't the greatest, nor is the plastic casing. In saying that, I have used this laptop consistently everyday for almost a year now, and I am very impressed with the way it has lasted. It is still in one piece, there is no buckling of the casing, and I can still get a fantastic 5+ hours of life out of the battery (even whilst doing tasks that would normally drain a battery pretty fast. I travel frequently, which this laptop has been fantastic for.
I will admit that it did lack instructions in some areas. For example it came with a mini antenna which can plug in to receive TV signal, but I could never get it to work. It also at one point would lose power if too much pressure was placed near the bottom left corner of the casing (when open). However, overall it has been a fantastic buy (Originally purchased from aldi (It also comes with a 2 year warranty which is great).
I would definitely purchase another Medion laptop in the future. Cheap, efficient, durable, great warranty Plastic casing wasn't the best
