Don't know what everyone is talking about
I am very happy with these nappies. My baby is only ten weeks old and was born 3kg and this was the only brand I could use from birth. Have not leaked once and as we all know newborn poo is very liquid...lol. The layer that touches the skin is great it draws the moisture away from my bubs bottom and he has not had one once of nappy rash. I do however think they are slightly overpriced but they look so gorgeous I don't really care and I hope to use them for two babies so they will pay for themselves :)
Reliable, gorgeous looking, easy to use, non staining
A little over priced
Look Cute, but don't waste your money
I bought a bunch of these as they look adorable, and being one-size was an added bonus. I was very disappointed to find that the inside fabric seems to be really poor quality (scratchy and stiff, not comfy for baby) and that the inserts are not uniform in size to each other, and don't even cover the full width of the nappy! Thus they leak. The fit is OK, not the best, but not the worst we've tried.
Overall, unless you want to spend $$$ for a really cute, but totally impractical nappy, steer clear of this one.
Leaky, poor fit, cheap materials, poorly made inserts.
Perfect for bigger bubs - my favourite nappy!
I have a love-hate relationship with these aesthetically deilghtful nappies -
Functionally, these nappies are brilliant - especially for my son when he was big enough for all of the snaps to be released. I had some problems early on when the snaps were all done up to make the nappy fit a newborn - there was quite a bit of leaking. But in saying this, these were one of the only nappies that could really be adjusted to fit a newborn (I've tried about 10 different styles!).
The inserts are an excellent design, but the bamboo fabric rotted with...
Cute patterns - but so leaky!
I am really disappointed with these nappies! I have 10 of them which I was so excited about buying because they are so cute! But looks can be deceiving as they just don't work!! I was able to use them for the first couple of months and they were ok, but now they sit in a separate box at the back my change table, only used if I am desperate and willing to change my daughter every 30 minutes. They are hopeless! I thought I might use them when I am toilet training my daughter in a year or so, but some of them are so faded that I don't even know wh...ether I'll do that. Should throw them out, but it's like putting $350 in the bin! Don't waste your money, the patterns will fade and they will leak!! Spend your money on a brand that works, I love MCNs, just not these ones!! I read the reviews before I bought them but didn't listen because they were so cute, wish I had listened as it would have saved a lot of mess and money!! Cute patterns, but they fade! Expensive. Don't work as a nappy - leak all the time! Patterns fade. Waterproof liner has delaminated from some. Liners not wide enough for the nappy. Fabric is stiffer than other brands (less comfortable for baby).
So beautiful, but so leaky
We have terrible trouble with our 6 minilalas, as they are not waterproof- somehow the outer cover wicks the moisture out (maybe through the stiching) and the outer covers have faded within 3 months. Also the velcro tabs rub on my baby's tummy!
started off beautiful
Leaks v quickly, expensive, faded, velcro rubs
I bought one mininLaLa nappy to give it a go (as it was expensive) and it was terrible! Leaked immediately every time I used it; the outer was just not water proof! I took it back and got a replacement. The staff thought it was a manufacturing fault and also suggested I was washing it too hot which may have reduced the water-proofing. The replacement was even worse - I have never had a nappy leak so badly. The entire thing was wet! I use a lot of brands of nappies and have never had a problem before. I'm hoping they'll give me a refund this time, rather than another replacement!
Looks great and the fit was good and easy to put on.
It wasn't water proof! But maybe I just got a bad batch.
Great nappy, these are our going out nappies as they are more absorbent than others we have in the stash. Wait for specials to buy.
Great fit for slim bub, absorbent bamboo inserts, nice designs, quality velcro fastenings
Designs fade; one nappy I had completely delaminated (plastic lining came away from inside of cover) after 3 mths but great service from new age nappies and cotton bottom with no fuss replacement. Expensive but have bought all mine on special
It took me a while to get my hands on one of these nappies but they didn't disappoint. A bit on the exxy side but considering how cute they are, I think it is worth it.
I hope the company continues to improve their designs.
Beautiful designs. Well made. Fantastic fit.
There are probably better nappies out there for fit/quality factors but the materials and designs make these a superior nappy.
Easy to stuff and operate
Can be hard to get a hold of (I think they have upped the manufacturing now though)
Not super absorbent but sufficient. ...Fade easy
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these nappies. They are gorgeous and fit my baby really well. Very easy to use and the wetbags are excellent. However, the fabric does fade which is a pity as it really is the only way I can justify paying so much for a nappy. I also really like the inserts.
Gorgeous fabrics! Excellent fit. Work well.
Expensive. Fabric does fade.
I really liked these nappies when my bub was really little, they were probably my favourites, but they haven't been used that long and I find the elastic is almost gone and they're leaking all the time. The elastic issue is not that bad, I can replace it, but if they leak, they're not doing their job.
Look gorgeous. Velcro is easy to put on and off and wrap up into a nice little parcel after use.
Elastic seems to have worn out really quickly. I also find that after about 5 months usage, they leak EVERY time I put them on her. The problem is th...
I bought this brand after seeing a sale in Darlingsdownunder website and attracted with the reviews and the look of it.
Now happy with the performance,no leaks after a few washes..
nice prints, very very cute. comes with Velcro (hook and loop) which is very practical and easy. not too bulky and fit well on my DD. love the prints.
Tend to get hard when she started weeing couple of times (maybe happens to any other nappies as well?), leaks at first but after a while, no leak anymore and I also boosted it with one booster and off she goes 3-4 ho...
This is a high quality, very well made nappy. Although a little on the pricey side, you get what you pay for - and these nappies are certainly comparable in quality to others in this price range, and in some cases, they are far better. Cushie Tushies also has a range of cute printed fabric nappies, but they don't perform anywhere near as well as Minilala. I have stacks of these in my stash and love them. Can't recommend them enough.
Absolutely gorgeous fabrics! The prints are distinctive and look amazing on your bub. The design of the napp...
