Collagen cushion: Good product, but now ridiculously overpriced
I've been using this product for over 5 years and in that time it seems the price has at least tripled and is no longer affordable. I used to recommend Mirenesse to everyone but now it's embarrassing. Website is now impossible to use and continuously jumps around. The amount of emails every day was also overloading my inbox. I feel like the company has become too greedy.
Bad Quality Eyeliner
The Inside Out 27 Hour eyeliner I bought had a faulty lead which crumbled when I tried to sharpen it, so cannot be used. This is the second time I’ve bought this product and the same thing happened. They will not provide a replacement product so I have now found a different brand that is a better quality.
Mascara dries and flakes. I don't understand why this was once famous. Lipgloss goes off and bitter. Formula is not right with their products as it doesn't take long to go off and can't use it. Puzzled why they are at this price point where cheaper drugstore products are far more advanced and able to use for longer.
I wouldn't purchase anything from the online site unless your absolutely desperate. Terribly clunky, painfully slow and almost impossible to navigate. So bad in fact, that in trying to select the appropriate colour for my skin tone, it skipped it entirely and selected another without me even realizing! Now I'm 60 bucks down with a useless product. Also, the "foundation finder" quiz is a joke.
Avoid it at all cost. Dreadful.
Didnt like the blue mascara
Purchased the blue mascara as there arent many other brands selling mascara in that colour. Its consistency is more like water than a gel and it smudges easily and frequently during application. The finished look is nowhere near as effective as my other brand named mascara - possibly because of the difference in ingredients. Overall I was disappointed and wont buy it again. The second free one which came with it was not security sealed either so I hope it wasnt someone elses returned item being passed on to me. Postage via sendle was slow.
Product great service and care factor NIL
Parcels sent and got lost they won’t refund and send replacement and we are talking $150. Have contacted fair trade as won’t even answer emails or phone calls. Sad as I said products good.
Misleading, AWFUL customer service. Don't trust them.
I got a text message saying I would receive three free gifts if I ordered on that day, AWESOME! So I went ahead and spent $70 on makeup, because I thought it would even out with the "free gifts" and work out to be not too expensive. I checked out with the "free" items in my cart and was excited for my products.
The next day I get an email saying I "don't qualify" for the free gifts (there was absolutely no information on the website about "qualifying" for anything), and instead of asking if I still want to purchase the products, they went ahe...ad and sent it without my "free gifts". They also accused ME of being the one who did the wrong thing, saying I mustn't have updated my cart before I checkout ot - which I obviously DID do. Just blatant lies. I would have asked for a refund had they bothered to message me about it, now I've spent $70 on like three things, massive rip off. I replied saying I'm unhappy and they should have been more clear with the offer. No reply ever. They never got back to me. They never even apologized. This company doesn't care about you, they only want your money and they'll lie to get it. I'm never buying anything from them again. 0/10
Not a clean beauty company
I wanted to purchase their mascara because it is a tube mascara, has great reviews and most importantly because the company advertises itself as a safe and clean beauty company. This is simply not true. Three of the ingredients in their mascara are listed as moderate toxicity on the Environmental Working Group website. When I emailed them to ask them about this, they gave me multiple truly laughable responses with unsubstantiated claims about their product safety. Buyer beware if you are looking for a clean and safe beauty company.
Why would I need a 60 day return policy, if you cant return a product that's been used ?
Still waiting to hear if they will accept my return so far I have been told you cannot return a used product however their website states You can return something to us within 60 days of your purchase for a refund, exchange or store credit. For reasons of health and safety, we are only able to accept the return of unused or gently used items (less than 10% used)
I placed an order over a month ago. Never received my order. And never received a refund. I have over 30 emails. The customer service is horrible. No phone number to call. All they tell me is to track the shipping , that it’s my responsibility to contact the shipping company! When I emailed the shipping company they said the package was returned to sender. I screen shotted it and sent it to Mirenese customer service and they responded they need proof. What? You sent the item, shouldn’t you get the proof? Not the customer? I just want my money b...ack! They still send me the same response. Contact the shipping company. Don’t buy anything from Mirenese!!! Never received my order and never received my money back. I have over 40 emails to this company with the same generic message back stating to be patient order has shipped. I’m still waiting ... 2 - almost 3 months.... No help whatsoever by customer service. Nothing but rude replies.... I suggest and hope no one does business with this Australian Conpany. Customer service appalling.
I purchased many Mirenesse products a couple of years ago, and did like them. However, when items didn't arrive or if they items were missing, I obviously like other customers found that Mirenesse gave you the run around, and I too felt like I was being accused of lying. I was offered some credits, but the codes never worked. I then tried logging into my account after I left a terse but fair message on facebook and Mirenesse had locked me out. I no longer exist, but when I try to go in as a new customer (as I don't exist), I couldn't because ..."My email address already existed"!!! I just didn't have the time to be emailing back and forward with no positive outcome. A year ago my daughter got cystic acne and also bells paisey, and I purchased for her and myself (under her email address) the pebble sonic kits. My daughters pebble sonic was doa, so I gave her mine which after a week would no longer charge. My daughter emailed Mirenesse and also was treated as if she was making it up, so then finally managed to get onto customer service by phone and the operator was apologetic and said she would look into it and get back to her. Guess what - no one got back to her. She sent another email, no reply and then went intonher account and she was locked out. Not once were we rude or inappropriate in what we sent or said. My daughter was in a rather distressed state at the time and the way she was treated was unacceptable. We should have contacted consumer affairs about Mirenesse, but were absolutely over it, and after all the emails and phone calls taking it further seemed just one step to many. Shame, good products, crap service.
VIP club not what it used to be
Mirenesse customer service keep claiming here that they've improved the VIP club when this is clearly . VIP club members previously received a minimum of 50% off and sometimes up to 80%! VIPs previously had access to monthly glamm boxes where you would get a selection of products for $25. There is no longer a VIP only section where we would have constant access to sales prices not available to the general public.
While you do get a $25 voucher each month you need to spend over $65 to use it and it can't be used on specials. The quality of th...e products really is quite good, but like many here have said, you shouldn't need to be a member paying $25 a month to have access to them at reasonable prices. Another thing of note as I see they have their 'coupon countdown' this weekend... Whenever there is a promotion where a sitewide discount coupon is given, the prices get inflated to account for a good portion of the percentage being discounted. For example, I can see today that the VIP discount is only 34% before using a coupon code (current coupon is 40% off). So something that would be discounted by 67% if the full VIP discount was still available to begin with (I usually see 45% off), is only discounted by 60%. It's these underhanded tactics that are putting customers off. On a $29.95 item this only amounts to a couple of dollars. Isn't that a couple of dollars that Mirenesse could spare in exchange for maintaining customer goodwill?
Crappy customer service
Last July (2015) I was looking for a face powder and came across Mirenesse. Having read the reviews on their website, I was keen on giving it a try. I bought the BB blur powder along with a mineral blush. They were quite costly but I thought I'd give it a try given the reviews. Two small free samples arrived along with the products perhaps because I was a new customer. One of the free product was the Power Clear D-Blemish Treatment Gel which I found to be really good so I ordered the mini version in Jan 2016. Two months later, I re-ordered it a...gain and it was supposedly shipped at the end of Mar. I waited and waited for 3 weeks. It never arrived so I wrote to Mirenesse's customer service to ask them to lodge an investigation with Australia Post. They said Australia Post told them it was in transit and I would have to wait 30 days before they could send a replacement. If this was a case with other companies (I purchased most things online) they would have started a proper investigation with Australia Post seeing that it has been 3 weeks but no. Mirenesse would rather have me wait for another 9-10 days. After 30 days of waiting, I sent another email to chase for a replacement. Bear in mind, they didn't bother checking with me to see if the order has indeed arrived. I HAD to email them. I was then told a replacement would be sent the following Monday. After waiting for another 10 days, the “replacement” arrived but it was the wrong order. That's right, a month and a half waiting for an order and they sent the wrong item! I emailed them about it and was asked to provide a picture (to prove it was the wrong item). Guess what? Mirenesse doesn't take the words of their customers – they need proof! So I sent a picture and they apologized for THEIR mistake and said a correct replacement will be sent via express shipping. I asked for a tracking number and was given one. Guess what now? They gave me the wrong tracking number so I couldn't track my order, which I only realized after it has arrived. However they did give me a full size product instead of the mini version that I ordered. Well, I think I deserved at least that much seeing I waited over a month and a half! I opened the product and nothing comes out when I use the pump so I opened it up to check. There is no tube in the bottle! That's right – a pump bottle with no tube. Mirenesse is a joke! Worst customer service ever! Cheap packaging! I quickly unsubscribed from their newsletter and will never purchase from them again. And yes it's true they will keep sending you emails about a sale but when you actually click on it, you'd realized the special price is just for VIPs. I wasn't a VIP. It doesn't matter how good your products are if your customer service is this crappy and your newsletter isn't transparent. I have since found better products accompanied by fantastic customer service somewhere else.
Love the products, but...
I used to use Mirenesse years ago and loved all their products, and probably still would if the prices were more realistic. I went to re-order some of my favourite products recently and was shocked to see the prices listed on the website. The recommended retail prices are astronomical even compared to high end brands. Yes the VIP prices are lot more realistic, but I don't want to and will not sign up for the VIP Club just to get the VIP price. So disappointed that I can no longer afford this brand. It is cheaper for me to go the David Jones and buy high end designer brands than it is to buy Mirenesse. What happened to the company that made great quality AFFORDABLE makeup and skincare? Sadly it seems they are long gone.

I purchased Mirenesse products at "introductory pricing" for US market via a fashion discount website and though I was pleased with the quality, I was not completely sold on their direct pricing.

Overpriced and no customer service if you aren't a VIP - a shame
I starting purchasing Mirenesse as not many companies make products without the parabens and other nasties in them, and I have sensitive skin. Their products are very expensive however I joined their mailing list and used to purchase them when they sent out specials. I have been happy with most of the products ordered, however the products are very overpriced if you paid the full price that they say is the RRP - therefore the "specials" (or VIP membership) really brings the price back to where it really should be. I was happy to pay the "specia...ls" price when they came out. I did not want to be a VIP because the $25 per month ($300 per year) is crazy for me - I just don't use enough products to warrant paying the $300 per year over and above the price of the VIP discount price, as it would really just make it that I was paying the full price for the product again! I understand that Mirenesse "send" out surprise products to VIPs, however with my highly sensitive skin I simply can't use many of products that are sent out in skincare (I am highly sensitive after 3 different cancers, chemo, etc.) and I am very particular about what makeup I wear so it simply does not make sense for me. I am disappointed because for the last few months Mirenesse has changed everything to VIP - that is, you have to be a VIP customer to get any specials discount at all. I have emailed their customer support/services email a number of times - yet I have never, and I mean NEVER, received a reply. I noted that someone on product review said they had received great customer service - maybe that was because they are a VIP. To Mirenesse, if you can read this and respond, why didn't you respond to my many emails about exactly this issue? I used to recommend you to friends and now not only am I not using your products but I am no longer recommending them. My purchases may be nothing to you as you want VIP customers to get that $300 per year off them in addition to their purchases. It is annoying that the Mirenesse emails are still sent out appearing as "Specials" for everyone, and yet once you open it up it is only for VIPs again. It seems like building a client base on good products and great service to ALL customers has come to a stand still for Mirenesse. Think about the many people who for whatever reason are not VIP customers, and how you have let them down or are trying to force them into VIP membership. Don't you want them as customers anymore - just looking for the customers with the big $$$? I do not usually write reviews - let alone bad ones however this review has been written due to Mirenesse's lack of response. In submitting this review the option is given to have it posted or wait for a Mirenesse rep to get back to me to resolve the problem. I chose to post it as Mirenesse has not responded to any of my emails about exactly what is written in this review, therefore they have not chosen to resolve this on any of the previous occasions.
Love the products
I love there products but I have ordered products online which never received. Complained and got ignored, so I will no longer buy there products. Also joining the VIP club is a joke. A total rip off.
This company has really gone down hill, I used to buy many of there products from TVSN ie cosmetics, treatments, beauty products, nail products, brushes, pretty much everything they had in the range. I encouraged my mother, grandmother, 4 sisters inlaw, aunties, friends anyone who would listen, to buy the products. Unfortunately since this company left TVSN neither myself or anyone I know are still using there products, shocking customer service, delivery times and they offer NO great deals like they did in the past, making them even more expen...sive than alot of the high end brands. I really feel that mirenesse have become a greedy all about profit company that have let down probably thousands of loyal customers that used to enjoy supporting the company and Irene, sad really.
First time using - won't buy again.
I purchased a pack for $200, after waiting 10 days for it to arrive it was missing an item. They did email back quickly but said it was going to take a further 10 days for the product that was missing to arrive. Not good enough as it was their fault it was missing.
love the products but customer service is awful
I really like the few products I've tried BUT the customer service? Wow. Just terrible. A lot of the "surprise" deals are poorly explained and when called out the companys response is basically "you messed up, no returns!". I want to love this company- I really do but have been burnt on almost every order I have made with fine print that can't be found until the money is gone from my account. Even after reading through the entire FAQs I still seem to get burnt. I have canceled my vip account - paid for the first two months but am yet to receive...my beauty box as I'm sure there's a clause hidden somewhere that will burn me on that too. I am beyond disappointed with this company. The only reason for two stars as opposed to one is that their products are nice. Save your sanity and buy on eBay.

This may be a silly question, but are there any tricks to changing the powder or balm discs out of the compacts to replace with refills? I keep wrecking the compacts and/the actual product!

Follow these steps to change your 10 Collagen Cushion Airbrush Foundation:
1) Open the compact & turn it upside, take out Rubicell sponge applicator.
2) Press your thumbs against the bottom of the compact & refill will pop out.
3) Simply pop the new refill in!
Follow these steps to change your Eclipse Age Defence - Daily Face Balm:
1) Turn your compact upside down - you will then see the bottom of the compact contains a sticker which states the product name etc.
2) Peel the top of this sticker away - you should then find there will be a small pinhole.
3) Open the compact and poke a pin/toothpick/paper clip into this pinhole.
4) The previous refill should then pop out and you may insert the new refill.

I am interested in trying your foundation but I have had trouble with things like oxidization, wrong colour matches and drying formulas. I currently have about 3 foundations I don't use but purchased because of great reviews and now will only purchase after trying. Do you sell samples?
