Collagen cushion: Good product, but now ridiculously overpriced
I've been using this product for over 5 years and in that time it seems the price has at least tripled and is no longer affordable. I used to recommend Mirenesse to everyone but now it's embarrassing. Website is now impossible to use and continuously jumps around. The amount of emails every day was also overloading my inbox. I feel like the company has become too greedy.
I like quite a few products especially the multi silk action cleanser. But seems like it is all about the money now. Prices are too high and the sales which use to be great are not as good.
The website is too 'jumpy' you click something but the pages moves at the same time you end up somewhere else.
Purchased two of their new eye shadow pallets and can't wear them they hurt my eyes. I have been using mirenesse for 9 years and believe these are not made as well as they use to be. Probably a cheaper location and products used.
I will look for something else to cleanse my face as the cost is too high for 60g
Didnt like the blue mascara
Purchased the blue mascara as there arent many other brands selling mascara in that colour. Its consistency is more like water than a gel and it smudges easily and frequently during application. The finished look is nowhere near as effective as my other brand named mascara - possibly because of the difference in ingredients. Overall I was disappointed and wont buy it again. The second free one which came with it was not security sealed either so I hope it wasnt someone elses returned item being passed on to me. Postage via sendle was slow.
Product colours a bit limiting but follow up by Mirenesse has been fantastic
I've tried a fair bit of the mireness range and formulations seem to be fantastic but the thing I struggle with is the colour range particularly foundations. The other thing I can't get passed is the massive range and personally would prefer to see a smaller product range with variance in the colours and particularly for people who are cool olive tones which is a huge gap in the market created for product not tested on animals which Mac catered to really well before deciding to sell in mainland China and taking a 20 year step backwards. In add...ressing this with Mirenesse [name removed] has reached out and provided me with a terrific bunch of samples that I am eager to try in the next few weeks and will certainly follow up. I do feel even if I can't find a colour that works for me there are other products I will love and that they really listened to my frustrations and heard what I had to say.
Products reasonable, but be wary.
Products are quite nice and I dislike paying postage, and this was partly why I joined the VIP Club: however, the main reason was because I liked the thought of the bi-monthly VIP Kit.
Go forward twelve months and I had changed my attitude. The website made my head spin, as you try to find the best prices for a product. The same product would be in two different places, at different prices, on it. Don't bother trying to use you $25 VIP voucher, because it has a minimum spend of $65 and also comes with so many exceptions to its use: these e...xceptions seem to change at Mirenesse's whim. The final straw for me came when I made a purchase, it went through checkout and money was deducted from my account. When product never appeared, I queried it, and was told that it was cancelled due to "Misuse of VIP voucher". If it was a misuse, why didn't their system pick it up before it had reached this stage? And why did I have to contact them, not the other way round? I was also tired of getting products that were unsuitable. On my VIP profile i said I was fair, ageing and liked light makeup (or words to that effect), so I got sick of e.g. blood red lipstick and black/gold/blue eyeliners. Unfortunately, I am not Helen Mirren and can't carry them off. When I came to cancel it, I queried with customer relations on how many months of membership I needed to ensure I got my final VIP Membership kit (I might have been sick of the products, but I wanted what I'd paid for), and it worked out that you needed to pay an odd number of months to receive it. I had been a member for 12 months, which I assumed I should receive 6 VIP Kits - but, no I had to pay a 13th month to receive that elusive VIP Kit. Unlike other people, I had lots of contact with customer relations about this, but all I got was Mirenesse waffle to stay beautiful (or you are beautiful, or some similar cliche). This was a few months ago. Things may have improved: I hope so, although this occurred after they made "improvements" to the VIP membership.
Products = fabulous. Service= appalling
I cannot fault mirenesse products but their service is appalling. I used to be a loyal customer until I had issues with a dried up mascara being sent to me. The process of getting it replaced was shocking. I felt like they were accusing me of lying! Second time I made a complaint was when i didn't receive my products. They then blamed t on Australia post. As most products these days are tracked, I couldn't understand why they couldn't check where my item was. Never mind that, clearly my item had not arrived and was not re-sent to me. Emailing t...hem was another story! They don't like responding to emails until you threaten to contact office of fair trading! Sent at least 4 emails over a period of 1 month with no response but the moment I mention Office of Fair Trading, I get an immediate response. Mirenesse, your products are fabulous. It's a shame the customer service is absolutely appalling! Taking my money elsewhere!
VIP club not what it used to be
Mirenesse customer service keep claiming here that they've improved the VIP club when this is clearly . VIP club members previously received a minimum of 50% off and sometimes up to 80%! VIPs previously had access to monthly glamm boxes where you would get a selection of products for $25. There is no longer a VIP only section where we would have constant access to sales prices not available to the general public.
While you do get a $25 voucher each month you need to spend over $65 to use it and it can't be used on specials. The quality of th...e products really is quite good, but like many here have said, you shouldn't need to be a member paying $25 a month to have access to them at reasonable prices. Another thing of note as I see they have their 'coupon countdown' this weekend... Whenever there is a promotion where a sitewide discount coupon is given, the prices get inflated to account for a good portion of the percentage being discounted. For example, I can see today that the VIP discount is only 34% before using a coupon code (current coupon is 40% off). So something that would be discounted by 67% if the full VIP discount was still available to begin with (I usually see 45% off), is only discounted by 60%. It's these underhanded tactics that are putting customers off. On a $29.95 item this only amounts to a couple of dollars. Isn't that a couple of dollars that Mirenesse could spare in exchange for maintaining customer goodwill?
Bait & Switch
I purchased Mirenesse products at "introductory pricing" for US market via a fashion discount website and though I was pleased with the quality, I was not completely sold on their direct pricing.
WARNING!!! We'll get you hooked, give you a 30 day coupon code good for 50% off which will bring our GROSSLY overpriced makeup down to mainstream boutique beauty pricing (still over fair market value), then when you go to use that coupon code, it will be EXPIRED. Surprise! No, Mirenesse, I'm sorry. My mother did not raise a fool. There are other EXCEL...
Overpriced and no customer service if you aren't a VIP - a shame
I starting purchasing Mirenesse as not many companies make products without the parabens and other nasties in them, and I have sensitive skin. Their products are very expensive however I joined their mailing list and used to purchase them when they sent out specials. I have been happy with most of the products ordered, however the products are very overpriced if you paid the full price that they say is the RRP - therefore the "specials" (or VIP membership) really brings the price back to where it really should be. I was happy to pay the "specia...ls" price when they came out. I did not want to be a VIP because the $25 per month ($300 per year) is crazy for me - I just don't use enough products to warrant paying the $300 per year over and above the price of the VIP discount price, as it would really just make it that I was paying the full price for the product again! I understand that Mirenesse "send" out surprise products to VIPs, however with my highly sensitive skin I simply can't use many of products that are sent out in skincare (I am highly sensitive after 3 different cancers, chemo, etc.) and I am very particular about what makeup I wear so it simply does not make sense for me. I am disappointed because for the last few months Mirenesse has changed everything to VIP - that is, you have to be a VIP customer to get any specials discount at all. I have emailed their customer support/services email a number of times - yet I have never, and I mean NEVER, received a reply. I noted that someone on product review said they had received great customer service - maybe that was because they are a VIP. To Mirenesse, if you can read this and respond, why didn't you respond to my many emails about exactly this issue? I used to recommend you to friends and now not only am I not using your products but I am no longer recommending them. My purchases may be nothing to you as you want VIP customers to get that $300 per year off them in addition to their purchases. It is annoying that the Mirenesse emails are still sent out appearing as "Specials" for everyone, and yet once you open it up it is only for VIPs again. It seems like building a client base on good products and great service to ALL customers has come to a stand still for Mirenesse. Think about the many people who for whatever reason are not VIP customers, and how you have let them down or are trying to force them into VIP membership. Don't you want them as customers anymore - just looking for the customers with the big $$$? I do not usually write reviews - let alone bad ones however this review has been written due to Mirenesse's lack of response. In submitting this review the option is given to have it posted or wait for a Mirenesse rep to get back to me to resolve the problem. I chose to post it as Mirenesse has not responded to any of my emails about exactly what is written in this review, therefore they have not chosen to resolve this on any of the previous occasions.
Hate that I like this make up
I hate that I like Mirenesse make up because their selling schemes really annoy me. Hate that they no longer have specials and so to receive 'reasonable' prices for make up you have to join their VIP club. At $25 a month its not affordable for most. They say you can opt out after 30days but I doubt its that easy, as ive had bad customer service before from them and the only contact is through their website. Now I have to find a new make up brand. Mirenesse is definitely just in it for themselves now and I personally know 3 others who have also recently stopped buying!!!
Got An Empty Bottle
I'm 22 years old and fairly new to makeup aside from eyeliner and the simple mascara, so I was on the lookout for some new products and stumbled upon Mirenesse. I didn't buy anything that day but signed up to receive emails. Recently they sent out a blast saying that if you order today you can receive a $100 mystery gift by using the coupon code "mystery." When I was surfing through the site, picking out what I wanted to get, it offered me a free 10g BB fill cream with the coupon code "whip". So, I'm getting excited here thinking that I was goi...ng to get a bunch of deals. I ordered a $40 mascara and put in the promo codes. It told me I had to checkout in 10 minutes to receive the $100 mystery gift, so I checked out right away. I received the package fairly quick and went straight for the BB cream, since that was the one I wanted to try the most, but it was completely empty! There was literally nothing in the bottle. I mean I'm thankful to have gotten to try it for free, but don't promise me something and send me an empty bottle! I gave it 3 stars because I did receive the mystery gift which was 3 lip glosses, and everything else was what I ordered.
No longer an affordable brand
I had been purchasing Mirenesse products on TVSN for years but now since they are no longer in partnership it has just become to expensive. Please Mirenesse will you consider going back for your loyal customers sake? Irene had always said she would always remain with tvsn due to her humble beginnings and loyal customers.
I do not wish nor can afford to be a VIP member and relied on the shows to stock up on my choice of products.
Please consider returning to tvsn, please.
First time using - won't buy again.
I purchased a pack for $200, after waiting 10 days for it to arrive it was missing an item. They did email back quickly but said it was going to take a further 10 days for the product that was missing to arrive. Not good enough as it was their fault it was missing.
Firstly I applaud Mirenesse for using natural ingredients and for this reason wanted to love the whole range. After much expensive experimentation I've found it to be a very nice product but not exceptional. I joined the VIP club mainly to get free postage but they must use the slow boat to China, via China, as products don't get to a city suburb for at least two weeks. The cosmetic containers are cheap and often faulty and I have never been able to get 50% off for anything as this is only applicable to items not already discounted. Almost eve...rything for VIP's is discounted by 10-25% so 50% never applies. Returning the faulty containers would be an ongoing time consuming event so I haven't bothered. All in all I've wasted my time spending on items to try that are marketed online like an old Avon catalogue. When products eventually arrive, they are 'over packaged' in layers of plastic and cardboard which to me is wasteful (unless a gift) and not in keeping with the use of their ecological natural ingredients philosophy. Sorry, I really wanted to like this brand.
customer service big letdown
Have been using Mirenesse products for a few months now. Like the products a lot, but have recently found the lack of customer support a big negative. After paying $135 for products I have yet to receive, I have just sent my 4th email, and have not had any replies or acknowledgement of my previous emails. Tried phoning, but the message says to contact them via email. You really need to improve your customer service Mirenesse!! I will be taking my custom elsewhere.
Also, tired of all the 'offers', and the VIP club - no discount unless you buy full price items, buy a 'package' and no discount. I have found the products are often small volumes and don't last long. Gets costly!
love the products but customer service is awful
I really like the few products I've tried BUT the customer service? Wow. Just terrible. A lot of the "surprise" deals are poorly explained and when called out the companys response is basically "you messed up, no returns!". I want to love this company- I really do but have been burnt on almost every order I have made with fine print that can't be found until the money is gone from my account. Even after reading through the entire FAQs I still seem to get burnt. I have canceled my vip account - paid for the first two months but am yet to receive...my beauty box as I'm sure there's a clause hidden somewhere that will burn me on that too. I am beyond disappointed with this company. The only reason for two stars as opposed to one is that their products are nice. Save your sanity and buy on eBay.
Their products are awesome but their company needs an overhaul
I want to begin this review by saying that I love so many of their products. Their primers and foundations give incredible coverage and yet are so light on your skin. Their Wrinkle Zero range of skin care products is absolutely amazing. Their gel eyeshadow is so amazing that I rarely use anything else and their eyeliners are the best I've used by far. I possess the most embarassingly huge make up kit and it is 90% mirenesse. HOWEVER, their VIP service needs a huge over haul. I agree with what others have said about the VIP boxes. You just get t...he same stuff over and over. I have four gold eyeliners and five cougar mascaras! So frustrating. I also think that their customer service needs work. I've only ever had one occasion to contact them and I was so disappointed . It was about a mascara that I bought and rather than admit that the new one was defective, they told me that my old one was actually defective and ignored all further emails that I sent. And lastly, I find their pricing system so annoying. Everyone loves a bargain and I'm not saying that they should never do discounts. But it's dizzying to ask $149 for a serum one week, then package it with a moisturiser for $69 two days later, then it's 25% 48 hours after that, back to $149 three days after that and 33% off 24 hours after that. For me, I get to like a product and I just want to buy some more of it at a reasonable price. I don't want to be overcharged but I don't want to have to check their website every day for five and half weeks just to get a decent price. I LOVE their products but everything else needs serious work.
VIP Ripoff !!
I fully agree with Nermal and have also just cancelled my VIP after 2 years of receiving face and hand masks ,gold eyeliners ,oh sorry, the last VIP pack was a blue eyeliner,(I am 55) ,they just clean out their cupboards and give the VIP'S any old rubbish,I also just received a full size foundation ,it was a heavy compact style,so I am sure it is going to be deleted soon, send the rubbish to the VIP'S!! .
The only time you seem to be able to use your $25 voucher is when there are no specials and then you must spend over $60.I have only used m...
Slow communication from Mirenesse
I like Mirenesse products. The issue I have with them is with their customer service. I've ordered a few things from Mirenesse in the past. If they send you the correct order everything is great. If they send you the wrong item (due to incorrect packing and checking from their end), well that is when everything gets very very frustrating. Firstly they sent me the wrong item. I emailed them and had to wait a day and a half for a reply for them to ask me to send a photo of the wrong item. I did that, waited five days for their response to ...which they sent me a code so I could get the correct item at no charge. I did that but the code doesn't work! I emailed them and am still waiting for a reply .... Slow communication means a frustrating shopping experience.
No customer service
Mirenesse products are not bad its there lack of customer service that's the problem. I ordered foundations and received and incorrectly labelled product, its been three weeks now and am still waiting on this issue being resolved. Worse thing is they don't speak to people you can only email. For this reason I will never deal with them again. I suggest you order through TVSN who have always had great customer service.
products are fair to good
They dont care about there customers

This may be a silly question, but are there any tricks to changing the powder or balm discs out of the compacts to replace with refills? I keep wrecking the compacts and/the actual product!
Thank you for reaching out to Mirenesse. There are no silly questions, so feel free to please ask anything you wish as we're always happy to help!
Follow these steps to change your 10 Collagen Cushion Airbrush Foundation:
1) Open the compact & turn it upside, take out Rubicell sponge applicator.
2) Press your thumbs against the bottom of the compact & refill will pop out.
3) Simply pop the new refill in!
Follow these steps to change your Eclipse Age Defence - Daily Face Balm:
1) Turn your compact upside down - you will then see the bottom of the compact contains a sticker which states the product name etc.
2) Peel the top of this sticker away - you should then find there will be a small pinhole.
3) Open the compact and poke a pin/toothpick/paper clip into this pinhole.
4) The previous refill should then pop out and you may insert the new refill.
I sincerely hope this helps, please let us know if you are having any trouble and we will further assist.
I am interested in trying your foundation but I have had trouble with things like oxidization, wrong colour matches and drying formulas. I currently have about 3 foundations I don't use but purchased because of great reviews and now will only purchase after trying. Do you sell samples?
Thank you for reaching out to Mirenesse and we hope you are well.
All of our foundation shades are formulated with colour adapting spheres, so even if the foundation shade isn't an exact match you will see that it will blend really well with your natural skin tone.
We do stock most of our foundations in mini size for a small price for you to try out and fall in love with, please follow this link to view our full range of minis: http://www.mirenesse.com/1359-makeup-minis
I sincerely hope this helps!
