Not happy with it.

published

The room temperature apparently is taken from the inlet ducted in the ceiling not in the actual room. Set the air-conditioning at 24, room temperature 31 but ceiling temperature 38, it can take nearly 8hr to have the ceiling temperature to come down to actual room temperature. Air-conditioning is a Mr slim ducted.
I would like to know why is the air-conditioning room temperature thermostat in the ceiling.

Purchased in November 2020 for $5.80.

Exceptional Performance

published

Very pleased with purchase. The unit and the control panel and the vents look great, and perform outstanding in all conditions - and we love the remote control from iPhone. We should have installed this years ago.

Purchased in October 2018.

Dead within 10 years

published

Great when working, but needed a major refit after six years, replacing the fan system and now just short of 10 years since purchase the whole system needs to be replaced. Total cost, on top of original purchase price, $12,000.

Purchased in December 2009 for $15,000.

Great aircon, very quiet!!

published

Had this aircon installed for a week now. 37° today and had temp set to 24° inside and the air coming out was very chilly. Outside unit very quiet, is right near one of our bedrooms and can only hear minor whine, no fan noise. Wall controller easy to use and we also have WiFi connected which is convenient.

Aircon uses approx 16A or 3.6kWh when running which is about $1.10 hour in Perth (standard Synergy tariff @ $0.30 incl GST)

Date PurchasedFeb 2018

Our Mitsubishi didn't last 10 years. Industrial size unit - fan system went after 5 years, replaced for $1000's, compressor unit gone a few years later. Whole system had to be fully replaced. Needless to say, not with a Mitsubishi.

Thank you alysiasmum, we had similar issue with another major brand. Hence researching in hope of avoiding expensive repair.
Anyone has experience with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries please. They are apparently 2 different companies.
