Love this fridge! – We've had this fridge for about a month and couldn't be happier. It is very quiet - in fact I can't remember hearing any noise from it at all! The fridge area is quite spacious and more than enough space for our family of three adults. Also like the little top shelf with the door where we now keep our bread. Another thing I really like about this… Read more
fridge is the ease of opening. The way it is designed you can hold it anywhere on the edge that opens. Also the opening edge is in plastic so you don't get finger marks on the stainless steel. Our previous stainless steel fridge always looked terrible with multiple finger makers due to the placement of the handle. With the Mitsubishi Electric Fridge they have thought about it and made the fridge so you can open without touching the stainless steel. With a 5 year warranty too, what's not to like about this fridge?
Runs Perfectly. Never had any issues! – Bought this fridge in white in 2011 for our first home, was very affordable & looks great. -Runs perfectly -Very quiet -Never had any issues -Good size -Fits everything needed in for a family of 3 -Love the ice drawer in the freezer -Easy to open for a disabled person. would definitely recommend it to any prospective buyers only… Read more
downfall is the freezer being on the top its difficult to reach from a wheelchair. Reliable, Affordable & Looks Great Freezer on top is difficult to access from a wheel chair
I wouldn't buy it myself – I'm in a rented furnished apartment using this fridge. My first power bill was huge despite turning off the electric hot water and heater/cooler while I was away for 3-4 weeks over 2 months. I noticed the fridge seal does not sit flush with the body, and it takes a lot of effort to seal it (ie. running a pen along it to push it shut, until it… Read more
seals). The gap is 30 cm long, and ranges from 1-4mm wide. My work around is to tie an occy strap around the fridge!!! Am contemplating a replacement seal.
This fridge also claims to have been manufactured in Aug 2012. Shocking, given it's practically new.
Poor seal - leaks cold air - high power bills
A nightmare – Bought this beautiful looking fridge, in June 2013, after few days the constantly running loud noise never stopped. In July new delivery of another fridge, after 4 weeks the fridge turned off only every10 min, 5min running and that for 24 h a day. Got my Energy bill, for having 2 new fridges for 6 weeks cost me $425 more on my bill plus sleepless… Read more
nights and a shop manager who thing I tell a fairy tale, no compansation! Got rid off the noisy fridges, The appearance of the fridge and the prize Constantly running for 24h and very very noisy
Very noisy fridge - disappointed consumer – This is my first Mitsubishi Electric fridge and I am very disappointed. I have had it for 6 days and am ready to reinstate my old 9 year Whrlpool fridge because even at its age, it is better. This fridge is very, very noisy and the motor turns on and cools too regularly thereby constantly using electricity ie it turns on every 15 minutes and runs for 12 minutes. Stainless steel, freezer on top. Noisy!!
Good – We have owned our MR385R - ST since Sept 2007. Despite our first one going back to the shop due to side damage (dents)which would not usually be a problem but our kitchen does not have a fridge cavity so the sides are on show, The replacement has been fantastic and hasn't missed a beat. I love the ice maker. It's a great fridge for 2 people I… Read more
would like to one day upgrade to a larger size. Important to have a bit more space when entertaining, Large platters, extra drinks etc. But as a day to day fridge it's fine. Who ever has enough fridge space?
Due to finances at the time this was the best buy for our buck. One other thing to be mindful of is to check the seals around all the doors at the time you take delivery. The first fridge had seals that were bunched and not sealing the door properly. Very Happy with our purchase would recommend highly Looks Great Great Freezer Space Great Value For Money
Excellent – A great fridge that has been with me since 2007. I love that it has a freezer with an ice tray and catcher however; it does fall off its hooks if not too careful. I love the size of the freezer which always comes in handy around special times in the year (xmas etc.). The same goes for the fridge as shelves are able to be moved around to suit… Read more
bottles and other groceries. The fridge has its own area for dairy products, there is more than enough space for eggs and other jar goods as well as the bottom area keeping fruit and veg nice and fresh with a fresh food sachet compartment which can also be freely replaced when that sachet looks like it needs it. As for the outside of the fridge it actually also has lovely wheels on the bottom enabling an easy clean underneath. The back of the fridge too has a tray that can easily be detached encase this may ever need to be cleaned. A really great product! Love the size of it. Ice tray falls if not too careful.
