Bad Luck or Crap
Absolute crap. We have two, both failed. first one cost us a board $800+, then when it failed again several months later it was said to cost more to fix than new one so $3000+ later mmmmmmmmmmmm.
NOW our other one has done same thing...another new unit for something that supposed to last years
$6000+ after only 8-years of intermittent use is a FAIL for Mitsubishi

Worst system ever
I had one of these Mitsubishi heavy industries reverse cycle pumps installed in March 2015 and right from the start we couldn’t use it as it made the wall vibrate. After logging a complaint which was made as difficult as possible as it had to be listed as a warranty claim and it was one day old. They came and changed the rubber feet after about 3 months with endless calls to get anybody to attend to it and were still unable to use it. At about the 4th month they changed the complete system after threatening that I wanted it removed and refunded...Read more
but the second unit was only a little better but was now usable. The outside unit could be heard inside and the outside unit rattled. I gave up and replaced it with another brand but have doubts about if any refund will happen as they fight you every inch of the way and leave you waiting for a service call for days at a time with a no show the normal result.Similar opinion? Terrible
Not what I expected from a well known airconditioning company very disappointed in the product for what we paid for it. Getting somebody to come and repair under warrant has been a nightmare and I wouldnt recommend this unit.
In the Right Price Range
Never really worked well from installation. Settings for airconditioner dont go low enough and after 4 years the outside unit has completely rusted away where the fan support bracket is. Now leading to a warranty claim.
