Fantastic Customer service

Marco was very helpful in setting up my modem as I had transferred from a previous company. As a 72 year old pensioner, I am not very good on computers, so required much patience and understanding. Marco didn't rush me, gave clear explanations and never made me feel like I was an idiot. Getting much better speeds than I ever had with Westnet. I have had my mobiles with them for years (so much cheaper and great customer service). So when it came to switching nbn I of course checked the reviews, and am pleased I made Moose NBN my choice. New to NBN

Had Moose NBN for about a Month it has been great until tonight and just dropped out. Lights on modem are on phone, TV etc no Network connection. Also another thing, our modem is connected through the telephone wiring (no phone connected)
I hope we don't have to pay Telstra to use that wiring? Can someone confirm this please? Show details

So reliable & affordable

My previous provider was so expensive but I've found Moose to be very reliable & they suggested I really only needed the everyday plan rather than an a more expensive option . I've now recommended Moose to members of my family who are looking for a change. Show details

Regular drop outs

Moved from Telstra NBN 25/5 service to Moose NBN 50/20 in AUG-22. We are located in Wodonga VIC. On the surface this looked like a good move to get better performance. Unfortunately the Moose service drops out on a regular basis with outages of 1hr+. These drop outs rarely happened with the Telstra service which we had for many years. I don't understand since the same infrastructure is in use. I contacted Moose for their feedback with no response. I went to raise this product review some months back and was prompted to allow Moose to respond first. No response. Show details

Technical support

After transferring to the Moose 50/20 service from another provider, I tested my download and upload speeds and found the download speed as advertised but the upload speed was struggling at 4.2MBPS. I contacted the company back and forward via email but could not resolve the situation. I rang the customer service line (07) 3193 9400, and was fortunate to connect with Marco. 15 minutes later, problem solved and my upload speeds are now at a respectable 18.6MBPS. Marco clearly knows his stuff and is a skilled technical communicator, not always an easy task to master over the phone. Very happy with the outcome and with the smooth transition to Moose NBN. Show details

Great NBN service provider

Have only been with them for a week. Sign up and activation was seamless and straightforward. Brought my own modem from last ISP and only needed to change two settings on the modem for it to work. I moved over from another ISP that claimed that broadband prices were increasing. Getting $20 off for a few months and will pay less per month compared to the original price my last ISP was charging. Easy & competitive

6 month introductory price is unbeatable; changeover & setup went exactly as described. Routinely getting latency of 55 msec & speeds of 47-49/17-19 on a 50/20 FTTC connection (same as previous provider), so I'm very satisfied so far. Show details

Good NBN and support

Switched from TPG after good experience with Moose phone a/c. Had one dropout which was fixed overnight and a couple of tiny ones; it's NBN so no fault to Moose with that! Good introductory price then same as TPG after 6 months ie. one of the best value NBN plans available.
Would have been 5 stars but tech support couldn't help with reconfiguring TPG router. Would have added back half a star as they sent me a new preconfigured router (not their current model) which worked out of the box, but I subsequently worked out how to config the TPG one which is a better model (uncheck one box, LAN ID, to fix it!).
Totally satisfied now and Aussie call centre is a big plus. Show details
