Avoid. Don't believe the 5 star reviews. They are dodgy and the worst ppl to deal with.
Avoid. These ppl are extremely unprofessional and will steal your money. Booked a move and only one person showed up. They invoiced me for 2 crew members and when I disputed the invoice they told me I was lieing and they confirmed they dispatched two ppl ? Was charged $700 to move partial and bulky items of a one bed appartment for an initial quote of $350. Will be persuing the matter with ACCC.
They added random minutes to the start and end times so they can charge me for another block. This is exclusive of 30 min travel time.

Read morek over 30 minutes longer to reach the destination and we had to call and ask if he got lost (all billable to me). They charged a 30 dollar booking fee. The fee was not adjusted in the invoice. When asked I was told it's the priority booking fee ? But I booked 3 weeks in advance. Look out for that on the top GST (not included in quote) and 2.5% card surcharge to be added to your payment. The support team is unresponsive and basically doesn't care once they have your money.- 3 reviews

Terrible service with no customer service
I have booked the removalist to move from North to West. First of all they haven't mentioned earlier that there will be extra charges for the long route, Second the removalist fuelled up their vehicle during clock starts and Third they haven't responding to the mail at all after payment received.
Proceed with this compang if ready to loose money with disgraceful customer sevice!

Unprofessional, incompetent and bad customer service
Three-bedroom house to a short distance. Slow, boxes were everywhere and went to the wrong location. Repeated attempts at getting this fixed were met with obfuscation and delay. Don't use these guys. You will be sorry.

Terrible service
Really disappointed with the service. We used Mooval last time we moved, but this time it was a really different experience. They rescheduled the packers, the movers were students from Columbia with a Budget (hired) truck and very inexperienced. Many things got damaged or broken. The unpackers also got rescheduled and they could not provide a cleaner. To top that all off, they are ignoring my emails about compensating me for the damage caused to the broken items. I would not recommend using Mooval.

Table damaged and not repaired satisfactorily- very unhappy
Our table was damaged and the repair job made more damage. We had screw heads - sharpe - sticking through the table top leaving it unusable. Company refuse to do an insurance claim. The guys that did the move were very nice but the company do not help when there is an issue. They ignore you and won’t replace damaged goods. Would not recommend this company. Dry dissapointed

Do not use this company's cleaning services - a complete no show
DO NOT go with the cleaning services of this company.
Booked in for cleaning services with multiple confirmation days before and scheduled for 730am - 8am start.
I waited until 11:30am and no one turned up. I tried calling, emailing, and calling again and again between 8:30am to 11:30am with no one picking up the phone or responding to emails.
Finally reached someone from 'Operations' and the person said the Operations is only for removals, not cleaning. For cleaning, he can only try for me (like doing me a favour), to reach them via email a...

Worst experience dealing with this company
We sold our house and Mooval turned up a day after the initial booking date which caused issues with handover. This was only after I called asking where they were?? Our furniture then went into storage arranged by them until the new place was built. Two weeks later I received a call by one of their movers, saying he has my furniture and on his way. The new place wasn't ready and this date was not booked in. So back they went to put my stuff in storage.. After more phone calls to sort the issues and finally I was moved into the new home at a later date. I now have a broken grandfather clock, broken coffee table, stained leather couch and marked TV unit. Now of course they are not responding to my attempts to contact and email them.

Ripped off charged extra $5k compared to quote
Quoted $7k for 4bdrm home plus shed.
They turned up with a 25m3 truck already half full of someone else's furniture we were charged $4k for 10m3 of space for this trick.
Another truck bigger 43m3 arrived next day and packed the rest of the furniture. No mention of extra costs until packed and finished the driver
then handed over invoice for $11,900. No discussion nothing. The driver said the company regularly does this and he hayrs this part of job because customers never get told about the extra costs.

Watch out scammers like Frank
The mover was great. sadly, the management and the office were horrific I do not wish to deal with these people again. when quoting they will not explain the additional cost charging on the day of moving / cleaning. And quote x2 more than initial cost. Then suddenly become hostile and yelling on the phone til you give up and pay. I understand some small business have to survive with gimmics, but this was such a low act, I felt sad for it.

Your went for 2.5hrs working time, well within the estimated range. -Your job was successfully completed with no damages. -We told you the team would arrive at 9:00am, they arrived at 8:48am and on time -Your booking had a $50 off discount voucher that we applied on the final invoice -The guys obviously did a good job, because as mentioned by you, you tipped them -The office attended to your multiple calls on a Saturday afternoon On the day of the move, you: -Spent 30 minutes quering the invoice, when the guys had another job to go to -Did not want to pay the full price -Did not want to pay the updated reduced invoice -Wanted to pay less than what it cost to conduct the job If we were not going through a global pandemic and working to keep our business afloat and staff paid, we would normally tolerate behaviour like yours but to be quiet honest we no longer have patience for it. Hit and Miss - Look Elsewhere
My first move Mooval was fantastic however my second move 11 months later was awful. It took over an extra 2 hours to move less boxes, no fridge and without the original 40 mins travel time. Additionally the second time a friend and I started helping as it the guys were moving so slowly. It was clear that they didn’t have anywhere to be afterwards.
Mooval offered a small goodwill refund however when I noted that it was disproportionate to the amount that I had overpaid they became unpleasant and rescinded their offer.

Read morey depends on who they send you. The first time I moved, the guys were efficient and even wrapped up a few furniture items that they thought needed protecting. The second time the guys would be out at the truck for extended periods, using their phones regularly and while nothing was broken, a lot of my furniture now has scuffs and marks. The crew we sent you recently were a competent team and responsible for many of the postive reviews we receive. Your job was completed with no damages and in a timely manner given the job scope, access and what had to be moved on the day. As a gesture of good will we still offered you a 10% refund which you refused and instead tried to coerce us into refunding something that was totally disproportional and unreasonable. Read more Unless it is in an interstate job we do not take full payment until completion of the job so it appears you may have confused us with another company. I can't find a job under your name. Futhermore if we did cause any damages we either repair it or offer insurance. Terrible service. They may threaten clients with physical violence.
They cancelled the move at the last minute, because I told them I was unhappy with their delays in arriving. When I told them I would reflect my unhappiness on their website, they threatened me with physical violence "I'll come there and break your neck" was their exact statement. Terrible service, not recommended at all.

Read more I have spoken to our operations team and they provided some context. You were told repeatedly that the aftenoon slot is between 12-2:30pm. By phone, email and sms. It was in writing and made very clear on the quote. The reason why we have this interval is that sometimes morning jobs may be delayed due circumstances beyond our control (eg settlement issues, lift access etc). For some reason you felt that the team should have been there at 12pm, which was not the case. On the day of the move the guys had a previous job that was slightly delayed. You were notified of the slight delay early morning and kept updated all day. The crew contacted you on move day and told you they would be there at 2:45pm, 15 minutes outside the scheduled time to which you replied, 'I'll make sure to reflect my unhappiness on your website.' Without even doing your job, you demonstrated hostility towards us which made the movers uncomfortable. As a result the decison was made to cancel your move. Perhaps in future, if you want respect from a business or anyone for that matter, its better to engage with them on better terms. In your response you just admitted that it is OK to cancel a job at the last minute, just because the client is unhappy about your delays and going to give you a bad review! Great at First!
Mooval was an experience we will never forget!
Quoted over the phone and the boys were great, no worries we can do it all!
Then they accused US, of misleading Them about how much furniture we had.
We had a three bedroom home with a study hutch to move from city area to a country town 295klm away.
I explained over the phone we sold our 8 seater Dining table and chairs, dresser,buffet, TC unit , coffee table and large lamp table all Solid Wood. (so less than other 3 bed homes.)
They send a residential truck to do a country trip?

Worst removalist experience I have ever had
I would give these guys 0 stars if I could. Very poor value/moral company who completely under quote to try and get the business but once they have you booked they could not care less about their customers, only the pay checks. The removalists arrived over 6 hours late (booked for 8:30am and only to get a call at 8:35am to say that they won't be coming until later due to an accident.) Once you have booked with them, even if you are not happy with the level of service that they have provided, you are FORCED to pay them the amount due otherwise they wont leave your house. And once you have paid, they will never return your phone calls as money is all that they care about. What a bunch of low lives. Read more All our interstate job prices are based on the total volume of items (m3) that needs to be moved. They are fixed price quotes and dependent on how much space there is required in the truck. Unfortunatley in your particular case your mother grossely underestimated the total amount of items she had. We sent one full 45m3 truck and another 45m3 that was half filled with her items. A total of 70m3 were required when in her original estimates the volume (m3) was listed at 30m3. We did your move at the height of the new covid restictions on interstate moves, at a time when many companies were not doing interstate moves at all. We allocated a number of resources to ensure that it was completed in time. We understand that the eventual bill was more than what was first quoted, however that was beacuase we ended up moving essentially double the amount of items. As for the company regulary doing this, that is simply not true. If that were the case, we would not have the mostly positive reviews that we have. We try and be as transparent and as clear possible. In the event that things are outside the scope of the job, we have to charge an additional amount to reflect the extra work and resources involved. And offcourse, you have the choice of whether you want to proceed with the extra work. Mooval
