Terrible service with no customer service
I have booked the removalist to move from North to West. First of all they haven't mentioned earlier that there will be extra charges for the long route, Second the removalist fuelled up their vehicle during clock starts and Third they haven't responding to the mail at all after payment received.
Proceed with this compang if ready to loose money with disgraceful customer sevice!
Unprofessional, incompetent and bad customer service
Three-bedroom house to a short distance. Slow, boxes were everywhere and went to the wrong location. Repeated attempts at getting this fixed were met with obfuscation and delay. Don't use these guys. You will be sorry.
Really disappointed with the service. We used Mooval last time we moved, but this time it was a really different experience. They rescheduled the packers, the movers were students from Columbia with a Budget (hired) truck and very inexperienced. Many things got damaged or broken. The unpackers also got rescheduled and they could not provide a cleaner. To top that all off, they are ignoring my emails about compensating me for the damage caused to the broken items. I would not recommend using Mooval.
Not a good…
I needed help moving my three bedroom unit into a storage unit 15 mins away. I had heard wonderful things about Mooval. Their quote was reasonable. I had arranged them to pack my things also. I was a bit worried when the guys turned up and said they hadn’t packed before. However the packing went well. I was however invoiced for packing equipment that I did not receive. On moving day they arrived late, however they had rung to tell me which was good. There were two men. Unfortunately it was one of the guys first day. This was clearly evident. Br...oken wine bottles, broken lamps and scratches on my freshly painted walls and doors. It took 6 hours for 2 men to move which I thought was a bit steep! I was invoiced for longer than the men worked for and an hour travel time which I was told was standard even though the movers live 5 minutes away.
Table damaged and not repaired satisfactorily- very unhappy
Our table was damaged and the repair job made more damage. We had screw heads - sharpe - sticking through the table top leaving it unusable. Company refuse to do an insurance claim. The guys that did the move were very nice but the company do not help when there is an issue. They ignore you and won’t replace damaged goods. Would not recommend this company. Dry dissapointed
Do not use this company's cleaning services - a complete no show
DO NOT go with the cleaning services of this company.
Booked in for cleaning services with multiple confirmation days before and scheduled for 730am - 8am start.
I waited until 11:30am and no one turned up. I tried calling, emailing, and calling again and again between 8:30am to 11:30am with no one picking up the phone or responding to emails.
Finally reached someone from 'Operations' and the person said the Operations is only for removals, not cleaning. For cleaning, he can only try for me (like doing me a favour), to reach them via email a...s they do not have a phone number (I asked for a direct line so I can reach out to them myself). I got a call back at about 12 noon, saying that the job can be scheduled later in the arvo, but they had assumed that they can treat customers like they don't have anything else to do but to wait and hope with fingers and toes crossed that the cleaners will turn up sometime.
Worst experience dealing with this company
We sold our house and Mooval turned up a day after the initial booking date which caused issues with handover. This was only after I called asking where they were?? Our furniture then went into storage arranged by them until the new place was built. Two weeks later I received a call by one of their movers, saying he has my furniture and on his way. The new place wasn't ready and this date was not booked in. So back they went to put my stuff in storage.. After more phone calls to sort the issues and finally I was moved into the new home at a later date. I now have a broken grandfather clock, broken coffee table, stained leather couch and marked TV unit. Now of course they are not responding to my attempts to contact and email them.
Ripped off charged extra $5k compared to quote
Quoted $7k for 4bdrm home plus shed.
They turned up with a 25m3 truck already half full of someone else's furniture we were charged $4k for 10m3 of space for this trick.
Another truck bigger 43m3 arrived next day and packed the rest of the furniture. No mention of extra costs until packed and finished the driver
then handed over invoice for $11,900. No discussion nothing. The driver said the company regularly does this and he hayrs this part of job because customers never get told about the extra costs.

Watch out scammers like Frank
The mover was great. sadly, the management and the office were horrific I do not wish to deal with these people again. when quoting they will not explain the additional cost charging on the day of moving / cleaning. And quote x2 more than initial cost. Then suddenly become hostile and yelling on the phone til you give up and pay. I understand some small business have to survive with gimmics, but this was such a low act, I felt sad for it.
Hit and Miss - Look Elsewhere
My first move Mooval was fantastic however my second move 11 months later was awful. It took over an extra 2 hours to move less boxes, no fridge and without the original 40 mins travel time. Additionally the second time a friend and I started helping as it the guys were moving so slowly. It was clear that they didn’t have anywhere to be afterwards.
Mooval offered a small goodwill refund however when I noted that it was disproportionate to the amount that I had overpaid they became unpleasant and rescinded their offer.
It seems like it reall...y depends on who they send you. The first time I moved, the guys were efficient and even wrapped up a few furniture items that they thought needed protecting. The second time the guys would be out at the truck for extended periods, using their phones regularly and while nothing was broken, a lot of my furniture now has scuffs and marks. Overall the second move was stressful and unpleasant. I'll be looking elsewhere next time and encouraging my friends and family to do so as well.
No care or responsibility!
I have used Mooval previously with no issue and was happy to recommend to others and use again for my recent move. This one was bordering on disaster! Scratches and marks on walls, couch slightly ripped and fridge has damage all over the front. With boxes conveniently put in front of fridge, I signed off the paperwork then noticed the damage to all furniture later that day. I called the Sales Rep who gave me an email address to send my report to. I took pictures showing damage on fridge and had to continually follow up to get any response. And ...when i did get a response, all i received was "Read our T and C" which stipulates once they leave, thats bad luck! Thats it! No other response or empathy at all. Now i wouldnt recommend Mooval at all and see them as just another poor removalist with no care, responsibility or ethics!

poor communication. Wish we used a different company. Overall very poor experience.
Insisted on payment upfront!!! Would not recommend unless you want slow workers who aren’t careful.
Not the best
I moved a 2 bedroom apartment. After a quote of 1.5 hour it took 3 hours to get the job done. So I paid 3 times the price . Also they don’t know how to remove TVs off the wall so beware!
Overall poor experience
We can’t pinpoint a positive from using Mooval; we were under quoted (the final amount came in at $400 over their estimated maximum), the customer service was smarmy and one of the two guys who did the move was lazy - we ended up being passed boxes to unload by one of the guys, while the other folded blankets. The end location was a storage unit and as they unpacked the truck, they took one trolley at a time to put in the storage unit, rather than packing the hoist with everything and doing one load. They were late to arrive (traffic excuse) and had no sense of urgency. We wish we went with another company.
Terrible service. They may threaten clients with physical violence.
They cancelled the move at the last minute, because I told them I was unhappy with their delays in arriving. When I told them I would reflect my unhappiness on their website, they threatened me with physical violence "I'll come there and break your neck" was their exact statement. Terrible service, not recommended at all.
