i've now been waiting 4 months to finish my remaining install
initially very pushy with sales. i can deal with that. should have twigged when their teams use their own gmail.com email.
quote seemed good price. paid deposit 5th june 2020. install eventually happened late august. .couldnt install all panels (19 of 26) and offered refund. I get install issues, - i have no issue with that, said i needed to sort out roof batons. I agreed for them to keep money while I sort out roof.
started converstation 4th Sept to get play layout so i can install roof batons. I got a plan in November!

This company hasnt refunded deposit money and one of the biggest lier one of the customer service ever.
I put the deposit and nexr day I got better deal and within cooling off period I requested for cancellation and gave my bank details for refund. Since then these people still makinh stories...mann..bull shitt just for 50box.
Very unhappy with the after sales service while trying to fix the installation issues.
We had several panels installed in the shade of our neighbours house. The installation provides very little energy after 2 pm due to panel placement. A bathroom vent was crushed under one panel. and remains so. The panel supports have been left protruding and uncut, but the worst issue is that after emails and phone calls the company refuses to communicate with us. I am aware that problems occur at installation, but only wish to have the issues discussed and addressed. If this had happened we would have given a better review. I fear those that need a warranty claim with this company will be very disappointed.
Avoid at any cost!
Worst Customer Service and Technical support I have ever experienced. Not replying to emails or returning calls, if I receive emails they are written in rude and sarcastic manner. The technical support guy [Name Removed] shows lack of basic technical knowledge and knowledge of the products he supposed to be supporting. The Managing Director who I copy on all my emails to More Green Energy expressed no interest in my struggle with Customer Service and Technical support to resolve a simple configuration issue on my SolarEdge inverter.

After weeks of planning and paying a deposit they just never showed up and no communication. Chased it up again a week after the job was suppose to be done in Long Beach only to be told it wont be happening. I asked for my refund back and it never came. Please do not deal with this company. I dealt with [name removed]. Please also refund my deposit.

The panels quoted and accepted were not the ones they intended to install, which I discovered while checking the panels myself ( they did not mention the change) . After questioning they showed me an alternative panel (300w) msquare, in the driveway and sent me a brochure. Reluctantly I agreed, as they said they would install 21 panels to compensate. After installers left I checked on the roof due to low output. I found they had not only installed only 20 panels, meaning I didn’t get the 6.6kW system I paid for, but also they had installed anot...her inferior panel type while I had my back turned. Very unethical. They have said they will replace the panels in a couple of weeks but refuse to give partial refund in the interim. I strongly recommend anyone who has one of these systems installed to get someone to check they installed what you actually paid for. Followed up with Jack and the owner when the panels I actually paid for will be installed. Now they just don’t answer at all. Buyer beware
Misleading, failed to deliver, hard to contact, refund long delayed after canellation, disappointed
The Sales Rep Daniel Jones quoted a good price, he was responsive at following up with my sales inquiry until they failed to deliver. It took me a lot of time and efforts to prepare for the documentation, and I successfully received my Solar Homes application approval from Solar Victoria back in October 2019; During the application the confusion came from how to fill in the certified retailer: for some reason I couldn't find "More Green Energy" in the pulldown menu, instead Daniel asked me to filll in HDC Electrical Pty Ltd which was misleading.... I was exciting about the approval, and sent it to Daniel for arranging the installation straightaway. After two months waiting and pushing, I received an email of "Cancellation of Installation" by them. It asked me to either cancel it and get refund of deposit, or wait for them until end of January 2020. I chose the latter. Still no one contacted me, in Feb 2020 I managed to call through to Daniel after numerous phone call or SMS inquiry then I was told I had to cancel the installation because the company is not qualified to install in Victoria. I then contacted Solar Victoria only to find out that my approved rebate was expired after four months! If I knew that they couldn't deilver I should have applied for a different retailer to take advantage of the $2250 maximum rebate by end of 2019. I was disappointed and I asked for a refund of my deposit so that I can re-apply from another retailer. While Daniel agreed to refund me and I also provided my bank account, it took me more than a month and no money is refunded even after my serveral attempts to contact Daniel. I was frustrated about the whole experience and the missed opportunity. Thier inquiry hotline was also useless because every inquiry was re-directed to mobile phones of the Sales person and their moble number was frequently changed to avoid the customers' complaint. My impression was that the company has been lying about their qualification as a Solar retailer and certified installer. My advice: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - just like the other frustrated customers' suggestion.

I paid deposit on Jan, now is November, still not installed, and they just told me they have to cancel all orders in Victoria. what a wast of time. and still have not get my refund yet.

Worst Company and worst service
I had a contract with More Green Energy in December 2018 and paid the advance. The sales guy haven't got back to me with the installation date for a few months. Nobody picked up my calls or got back to me about the installation. Six months passed and my rebate expired. Somebody contacted me after a few months and advised me to apply for the rebate again. Later they advised me that

This is for a 10kw system. I have deposited $500 on the 10/04/2019. After 7 months of waiting for papper works (Solar rebates), I was told by Jack (senoir consultant) that their installation contractor is NOT qualify to install and there for job cancelled. On the 1/11/2019 up to date I have sent so many emails & made so many phone calls to have my deposit refunded but NOTHING was send for me.
If any one read this? Can you please instruct me how to get these people refund my full $500.

we ordered a system and paid a deposit on 30-August 2019, they could not supply the inverter we ordered OR complete the installation - they blamed the manufacturer (Fronius!) after waiting 2.5months we cancelled the contract on the 10-November 2019. we have had no response since, requesting a refund multiple times. they are openly committing fraud, how are these guys still in business!
Panel installation and solar system activation is delayed.
After sales support is very bad. When you call their hotline, sometimes no one will answer or they will just cancel your call. Once you talk to their team, they are going to give you promises on resolving issues but will left you hanging. I have heard a lot about their bad after sales support but I didn't listen to the review. It's something I don't wanna experience but it is what it is. Thus, for new customers out there, just beware.
Terrible aftersale service
1) i had to unload heavy solar panels all by myself. It's unheard from any installers.
2) After installation they are not providing necessary paperworks for over 3 months, I am still waiting for them to provide the paperworks in order to connect to my energy provider. They promised to submit them but never done it.
3) I tried to contact them for over 2 weeks, not even answering phone calls and messages. That's the worst part, very disappointed!
Misleading lead time. Incomplete paperwork resulting in delayed rebate and grid connection
I did my research and their reviews seemed good. However once the contract was signed and deposit paid, the customer service disappeared.
I was advised the whole process, including connection to grid, would be complete within 4-6 weeks. After many phone calls and emails installation happened 12 weeks on, however they didn't provide the completed documents for the Solar Vic rebate and electricity connection to grid. In fact my electricity provider knew nothing of the Solar installation until I contacted them a few days after instal. After 2 VCAT...
My experience dealing with this company is terrible
have been asking for 6 weeks for my refund as your company couldnt install solar system to my sons house as your sales representative ( Joseph McEvoy) had a car accident and off work and the person who does the refund on sick leave and your installation manager ( No in the office ) and Janet ( who also sale rep.)who I spoke to promised me the refund will be in my bank account last week after she spoken to her manager.

I'm one of several cheated upon. I called CEC and they told me there are a lot of complaints about them
I advise you not to tolerate the scams from this company they have continued to conduct poor quality business principles since being exposed by the Energy Regulator October 2019 there are complaints constantly regarding refunds, quality, poor performance, supply non contracted products and not showing up on schedulled installation dates. The management refuse to answer calls to handle complaints or servicing of installation and they are well known by the department of Fair Trading , The Building Advocacy , The Energy Regulator and Clean Energy Council. These people are giving the renewable energy program a bad name in Australia. Yes they are cheap but at what price poor quality products, poor quality installers, poor after sales service, poor management conduct I suggest across all these areas. Looking at the complaints.

I did not purchase Trina and Jinko mono perc black panel. I purchased Risen RSM120-6-315M 315w panels
I also did not purchase that system, if you want to compare quotes you should ring another company. I'm still waiting for my system to be fully installed....23 weeks and counting.
I used a Fronius Primo inverter - its faulty, works only 2 days a week since it was installed 6 months ago, and MGE are refusing to come back and fix it. Go elsewhere

MonoCrystalline solar panels, silicon is formed into bars and cut into wafers. These types of panels are called “MonoCrystalline” to indicate that the silicon used is single-crystal silicon. Because the cell is composed of a single crystal, the electrons that generate a flow of electricity have more room to move. As a result, MonoCrystalline panels are more efficient than their polycrystalline counterparts.
Polycrystalline solar panels are also made from silicon. However, instead of using a single crystal of silicon, manufacturers melt many fragments of silicon together to form the wafers for the panel. Polycrystalline solar panels are also referred to as “multi-crystalline or many-crystal silicon. Because there are many crystals in each cell, there is to less freedom for the electrons to move. As a result, polycrystalline solar panels have lower efficiency ratings than MonoCrystalline panels.
