Best experience we’ve ever had!
Absolutely amazing service. Hands down the best experience we have had re-financing our mortgage. Wrote back to emails straight away or called when necessary. We didn’t think it was possible to get out of some financial trouble after being knocked back a few times, but Allan was positive & supportive the entire way. We felt he had our back & was fighting to help us. We are in a much better position now. HiI have been a customer of Mortgage house since 2015 with a high portfolio. During this time I allways disregarded the very high fees if you need amendments after loan the settlements. Eg changing from variable to fixed.
However recently I had to deal with customer care team and the team leader.
I requested some changes to my loan 3 weeks ago. Spoke to customer care and T.L. The changes were put in place for one week and was switched back last week.
After calling 3 times in the same week and leaving messages for the TL to return my call I... Read more finally spoke with him on Friday. The TL had no recollection of the information I gave him 3 eeeks ago. Had no idea of my case and was asking me to fill out my request forms again. I was put through the same scrutiny and I had to repeat the same information again from 3 weeks ago. Despite all of this the TL and the same customer representative I spoke with twice were very rude, blunt and unhelpful. Not only both were unprofessional but also disrespectful towards the situation and myself. The TL was very demeaning and degrading. Overall incoherent of the full situation. It was a very stressful and uncomfortable experience. Stay away from Mortgage House due to high charges and customer service.

If refinancing DO NOT go to Mortgage House, they have the lowest house valuation in the market
I was disappointed with Mortgage House and would never use them again. I wanted to refinance my home loan and at the same time buy an IP. The process was almost a month answering the queries back and forth, i provided everything they asked sometimes they asked it twice but still have the patience to answer and provide all the docs, but the result is disappointing. They use the Opteon the worst valuer and severely undervalued my house. I ask MH if we can find another option or another valuer perhaps but told me that is is final. [Content Removed... Read more]! They told me further that MH Loans are only provided by Westpac. Why MH can’t provide multiple valuations when in fact they are broker? This is the main reason why I switch to broker thinking they can help me better than the big 4. Anyway told my friends not to waste time with Mortgage House, other brokers might be better. I would like to thank Ash Nalin for his genuinely wonderful customer service. I knew I made the right decision to switch to Mortgage House based on previous service, and once again I am more than happy I switched to you. On this occasion I was applying for a top-up to my home loan. Ash went above and beyond in his customer service and kept me informed regularly. He was just so super friendly and helpful every step of the way. I had a minor issue with the valuation (not Mortgage House's fault) and Ash went out of his way to solve the issue. First time doing a home build and not a normal process to get a loan like other home loans. Initially skeptical but Quintin made all the difference. Quintin was always on the application process and continually kept me updated with the progress until the end, including promptly requesting documents as required. customer support during this process was far from satisfactory. The issues began with unsolicited calendar invites for a meeting scheduled on a day, date, and time that were never discussed or agreed upon. This was followed by a text pleading us not to leave and asking for a response to their retention efforts. Despite our decision to switch to a new provider, we received no phone calls, leaving us feeling overlooked and undervalued. In contrast, our new lender provided regular updates through phone calls, emails, and an app, keeping us informed about the transition's progress. A significant setback occurred when we discovered that the settlement dates provided by our new lender, as communicated to our old lender, were incorrect. Despite their initial assurance that they could rectify the issue, we later learned they had no control over the team handling settlements, contradicting their earlier email. Attempting to escalate the matter, I encountered resistance from the designated contact, who responded, "I cannot help you." Threatening to escalate the issue to the appropriate authorities was met with a dismissive attitude, stating, "There is no need to threaten me." Even when our new lender contacted your company to resolve the settlement date discrepancy, their efforts were futile, and the settlement occurred one week later than agreed upon in writing. In my more than 40 years of experience as a consumer, where customer service plays a pivotal role in a brand's reputation, this experience has been disastrous.
