I had an unpleasant experience with this company recently. The movers were inefficient, unprofessional and inappropriate.
I was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor to a house about a 10-minute drive away.
The movers were working very slowly, moving quite light items down the lift one at a time.

5 years ago, I gave them a 5 star rating. They sent me 2 very experienced movers that knew how to do their work. They were tall and strong and moved all my stuff in under 3 hours.
5 years forward, I was extremely disappointed. They sent me 2 movers who were so slack. I asked them how long will it take (as I had a restricted budget); they said "oh yesterday we took 9 hours to move a 3-4 bedroom house." The fellas get two stars for calling before arriving and arriving on time. The rest was down hill from there. They took everything apart. Things that were moved into our apartment fully assembled, they took legs off and disassembled our couch feet, you name it. It was an incredibly arduous. I was quoted 2-3 hours to move a one bedroom apartment two blocks costing around $250. It ended up costing $560.00. I have never seen two people move so slow. We had a couple of guys to do this job. Although they seemed professional one of the workers looked inexperienced and very slow. At time they also seemed careless . As the result the service was very expensive for us even though all our stuff were already packed in the boxes prior to their arrival .

I had a 3 bedroom house to move in November and ordered the recommended 6T truck with two guys. One guy insisted on carrying one small item at a time, to the point where I got so frustrated at how slow he was moving that I got in the truck during unpacking to take over his job because we would all be waiting at the truck for him to pass us things to take inside. I'm a 40 year old woman. Wow. They didn't pack the truck properly so had to do two trips, the job ended up taking 7 hours and tried to charge us for his lunchbreak! 7 HOURS!! What a joke. I do not recommend this company. Only gave two stars because one guy was friendly, (the slow guy was mute the entire day).

Inexperienced and extremely slow! They took 6.5 hours to move my small 2 bedroom apartment and didn't bring a truck big enough to fit it into one load and it had to be left behind because they had taken so long. They promised to return the next morning and deliver the remainder but then refused to do so and didn't care that they had provided such poor service. I'm not the only one who has had this experience with them, I'd steer clear of this company.

We chose "Move My Stuff" based on the reviews here, unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. We had a small job (one bedroom unit) which may have been part of the problem. Movers were very friendly, arrived on-time. We had a 4-T truck (more than enough) plus two movers. One man stayed in the truck most of the time (other than moving some of the bigger items and helping when he was obviously doing nothing else in the truck), whilst the other came with the trolley to pick up boxes- most of which my husband moved.
