Great customer service, but an average moving team
(3.5star would be more appropriate) I got a mattress picked up from a store and dropped off at my apartment. Customer service was great, they were attentive and friendly. They were able to book with short notice and provide a 30 min window, between 4-430pm. I got a call from the guys picking up the mattress at 3:50 pm advising they had arrived at the store. I reiterated that the mattress would not be ready until 4:15-4:30 pm, as they needed to close the shop and wrap the mattress in plastic (which is what I told the customer service team). I go...
Read moret two more calls from the guys asking if they were ready yet, which was rather annoying, as they knew they had to wait. After loading the mattress, one of the guys called and told me they would drop off between 7-8 pm, which wasn't explained to me upon booking. The customer service team apologised, and said they would wave the credit card surcharge, and the guys should be there around 6 pm. The lady on the phone was very professional. The guys arrived at 7:15 pm. When the guys arrived, they didn't smile or show any joy in being there. It was an awkward transaction, and I was relieved when they left. I think it would be great to ask your team to be more courteous, something simple like a smile, as it leaves a sour taste in your mouth about the company as a whole. 3.5stars given as quite a few things made it not run smoothly. Ok removalist, but wrongly charged surcharged
[Edit: Move My Stuff offered to reimburse the wrongly charged 3% surcharge, which I have accepted, but still have not received in my account].
Contrary to the positive reviews here, my experience was not all that positive. If your mover is [name removed], then you would do well to avoid him.
Negatives:
1. These guys had no hustle about them. [name removed] promised me folks who would not drag their feet. These guys were not quick.

Moving a 2 bedroom apartment to another apartment. Had problems with language, they where slow, whilst unloading had to keep at them. Would not recommend.

I am having New CArpet installed on the second floor of my home I have things to move from the second floor to the third floor and some totes to move from the first to the basement. This is but 1 small dress that has to be moved from 2nd to 3rd. I am unable to do the stairs. Can you provide someone?
