video card break down with in 2 months, I could not use computer for 4 weeks, because they have to send the card to NSW to get repaired. Then After 1 week it broken again, I did not want to wait 4 weeks again, so I bought new video card. but after 1 year later my hard drive broken, I went recovery shop, they said they need $800 to fix it.
and few weeks ago the power box burn out. I did save $200 because they are cheaper. but at end I lost my data my video card, and power supply within 3 weeks, 1 year and 2 years.
I had dell PC for 7 years, have not had any problems.

When I go to MSY stores in WA, I research the goods that I want to buy before I go there, so they know what it is, what the catalog number is, or a specific description, and THEN I make sure that they actually have it available at the store (easily done online). It is up to you to know what you are after. If you tell them that you want to buy a hard disk, then you need to know its size, make, model, manufacturer and so on, so they do not need ask you the details. I have found out that their prices are nearly always better than other suppliers. ...Only problems I had is that it is difficult to get them on the phone, and you cannot save their web pages in PDF format without the text being overwritten, but the Web pages saved in HTML format are all right.
As a computer tech. Price as all I need and that's what I get.
MSY is a no frills place. This means do NOT go to them if you want advice. You go to them after you have researched what you want and buy it and in return you get cheaper parts.
But this is not what happens. Normally what happens is people see they are cheap and then go there and want to take up 30-40mins of their time asking them questions whilst potential customers stand in the queue waiting.
If you don't know what you want to buy, do not go to MSY and certainly don't get upset coz you didn't get service.
My experience with MSY apar...t from the regular people above that you get there, is the guys are fast at finding the parts they are quick to find a similar replacement part if they are out of stock. If you order on their website for store pickup there hasn't been a time that I can remember were I have got there and they have had to tell me that the website stock count was wrong and they don't have it in stock.
