Can I give them less than a 1?
Bought online - item showed "in stock" - after 4 days - past the time they said it would be ready... no luck. No-one answers the phones, can't get through on webchat. I was on hold on the office number for 35 mins before I gave up. Only way to get action was to threaten paypal dispute. So they've cancelled my order but no refund as yet. Funny they took my money quick enough.

Friendly staff that helped me find the right parts. Quick, efficient, and easy. I’m not particularly proficient with computers, all I had to do was ask what I wanted and the staff were able to recommend everything I needed.
Great in Store staff appalling management and definitely not the cheapest as they advertise.
Great store with friendly knowledge staff but whoever sends them stock is a joke. Never have parts their motherboard shelves are often empty while they have 50+ CPU's in stock or they refuse to stock intel unlocked K series CPU's but will only stock unlocked Z series motherboards that are made to suit the CPU's they refuse to stock. - To whom ever orders stock for this place: What is the point of having 50 CPU's on shelf when you have no cases, motherboards or ram compatible with them? Get your act together your staff are trying hard to sell parts and PC's.
Cheap stock, poor customer service.
MSY have the cheapest stock you will find Australia wide but their customer service is absolutely pathetic, if you're after something in particular you better know what you're talking about otherwise they won't be interested in talking to you, simple as that.
My favourite computer shop! Always friendly, polite service and competitive prices in a convenient location. Thirty words? It's simply good service, good prices and a good range of products.

Tired of ordering, seeing it is in stock at the store online then driving 15 min to find they don't have it. No use calling as they never bother to answer the phone. the last straw after this happening for the 4th time in a row. Place needs to do a thorough stock take, this has been happening for years but much worse in the last 12 months.
I have just bought a $250 hard disk. On MSY web site didn't mention that the screws were not included. So I couldn't place the hard disk in my pc.
I tried to fix this issue with them but they have been very unhelpful.
Store is uncontactable
I visited the Fyshwick store yesterday to enquire on the status of a pickup order, as they were impossible to call on the phone, claiming that their phone was broken.
Despite the website showing every item I ordered online as being in stock at the store, the customer service officer claimed that the website was broken and in fact none of the items I ordered were.
I was told I should have e-mailed first, which I did, but received no response. He then suggested that he would be in contact today, but close of business has now passed without a phone call or email.

A week wasted
Placed an order for an item shown as in-stock. One week later, having seen the status as "still processing" online, I contacted them. The response received was that the item is out of stock and they will refund my order. This has wasted a week of my time in which I could have purchased (and likely received) the item from another retailer. How long were they going to wait before they contacted me to tell me it was out of stock? A fortnight, a month, never?
I replied would prefer to receive the item, or an equivalent, than have my order cancelled - no response.

Service is terrible
The Varsity Lakes store was shut down (I don't like businesses having to shut down, but I think I can guess why), so I had to reach out to MSY online to report the faulty Logitech keyboard I bought from them.
I contacted them on the 29th March, 2020, using their "MSY Support Messenger," which isn't live - it simply logs a ticket in Zendesk (CRM).
Moments afterwards, I also sent an email to email@example.com, explaining the issue and attaching the invoice.
Today is the 8th April, and I haven't yet received any reply from them. I just tried calling their QLD number, and their main number in VIC. Neither are answering.

They've lost me as a customer!
We put an order in on the 15th January, I received the email confirmation of the order. Waited weeks and nothing, no emails, no parcel. I logged into the website and checked my order only to see the status changed to CANCELLED. When were they going to tell me? They didn't! Not only that, they didn't bother to refund me either! I sent an email, no response. I called their office twice, the phone rang out (03) 97009771. I put in a claim through Paypal. My payment was refunded. I will not buy through them ever again. Previously I had no issues.
Worst service ever they simply don’t care.
I purchased a laptop online from msy , it’s shown in-stock and paid thousands of dollars. 10 days gone pass still showing order processing. I tried online chat waited 45 mins no response, waited another 2 days emailed them for information. 2 days late received a email saying it was a online error and no stock, my order was cancelled, no apologies no offer for alternative options. They just simply don’t give a flying xxxx about their customers. Never mind I will spend my hard earned cash elsewhere.

Extremely poor customer service
I ordered a WD SSD and a enclosure from the online store for pickup from MSY Fyshwick. Both items were listed as being In Stock at both the online store and Fyshwick location. After payment had been processed I received an email asking me to wait until I received confirmation that the items were ready for pickup. After waiting for two weeks I emailed MSY and received no response. I called the Fyshwick store numerous times and the phone was never answered. I tried to use the online assistant, and after 30 minutes I went from 9th in the queue to ...8th so I closed the chat window. I then drove across town to the store to enquire about my order in person. The sales assistant was extremely difficult to understand and eventually I came to understand that the store did not have the enclosure I ordered in stock. I was offered a different enclosure that was $1 more expensive, and despite all the jerking around they were insistent that I paid that $1. The entire process took an incredible amount of time for what it was. There were other staff in the store and despite the phone ringing numerous times none of them answered it while I was there. I'm not sure what MSY is like with direct delivery from the online store, but I would not recommend in-store collection to anyone. The service was abysmal.
MSY have some of the best prices in Australia even compared with online stores. They are my first stop when looking for computer parts and upgrades. Pitcairn St Glenorchy is not where you would expect to find them but it's easy to find and there's no parking issues.
Poor Service. Shouldn't be in business
I purchased an SSD online on 17 Dec 19 for pickup from MSY Fyshwick. Online ordering system said it was in stock. The following day I received an email that it wasn't in stock. I contacted them and was told it would arrive on 9 Jan 20 and they would contact me. I was happy to wait. A few days after 9 Jan 20, I hadn't been contacted so I attended the store. They new nothing about my order but found it and reordered my SSD saying it would be available in three days, Thursday, when stock arrived. Again they didn't contact me and again when I atten...ded the store the SSD hadn't arrived. I was told it would arrive the following Thursday. Well again, I haven't been contacted. I have contacted MSY via their regional email address on two occasions without response. I would take a refund, however MSY need to be held to account. I encourage everyone to boycott these jerks and buy elsewhere...
No-one reads either of their email contacts.
Order has been "in processing" 19 days.
Sent email to "firstname.lastname@example.org" no answer, repeat daily, no answer.
This really isn't that hard, just assign someone to read the email in the morning and after lunch.
You really have to wonder why the owner isn't more concerned about the basics.

No problems to date.
Bought new PC components from them a few times and always had good service and advice if and when I needed it.
No issues with them at all.

Great service and quick responses by email
I emailed MSY to hold the Msi 1660 super gaming x GPU and I got a quick response back in 20mins saying they would hold it for 4 days and when I got there it was still on hold for me and even tho the price was $419 when I called them it went to $429 but they still gave it to me for $419 i was really happy with that. Service was great as well! Then my brother also got GPU for $399 as well! Also had a look at the product and it’s looks completely fine to me better then expected!
The only thing I’ll say is they didn’t pick up there phone I guess the number may have been changed just not been updated but by email it was excellent!

Love the boys there - yes u need to know what you want. Have never had an issue - only ever 1 warranty claim for something dead on arrival and was sorted same day replaced with a new product.
Re: C2001724, Hi Chester, when I spoke with you last week you had quoted me $250 per monitor, yet that price has jumped to $285 in a couple of days; is there a reason for the price jump? Will I need a cable to attach to computer desktop you are currently building for me?
also can you please advise when I can collect my computer or do you set up, no urgency mid to late next week will be fine. thank you :)
