A customer now for 2 weeks, I couldn't be happier.
Lightning 50 plan - NBN (FTTN) with the D-Link DVA-2800 modem.
Speed tests are showing around the 24 Mbps which are equal to similar (unlimited) plans in Toowoomba.
Great service and ISP in general
Used to be on Aussie Broadband after being sick of the service and issues I had with my previous isp's. Most of it were ping/congestion issues but the isp's always seemed reluctant to do anything about it as long as we were a minority. So I moved to Aussie and never had a problem since but then I heard Mungi offers the same level quality of service which fit my preference of extensive data usage more. I was a bit skeptical after having many so many bad ISP experiences but I thought I'd try my luck and I don't regret it. I welcome Mungi to the new top tier of ISP'S up there with Aussie.
Excellent NBN provider
Easy to get connected, took me 1-2 days. Am on 100/50 mbps with FTTN, on peak hours I average around 60-70mbps, no issue with Netflix 4K 5.1 on my TV. No gaming issues, haven't experienced any drop outs yet, however they did sent out an email to have me switch from my fibre port from 1 to 2, and was went into my junk mail. Would be better if they can communicate that together with SMS.
Everything I wanted
NBN fttn, so expecting little I ordered slowest bandwidth. A few days later I was able to get Mungi to confirm I could experience wider band width. This was my time to judge service and was happy , quick and easy . No overseas call center dramas , but a simple personal and immediate response . Very happy. Do yourself a favour and avoid the big brands
Just received nbn and read fantastic reviews about Mungi decided to give them a go From the moment we joined up have no complaints at all Modem was sent next day received it in 3 days by express post Appointment was made to see nbn technician the day after we signed up was connected within two weeks They are very helpful and if you need to email they usually reply straight away Connection is very good haven’t had any dropouts Would recommend them with no hesitation have told a lot of family and friends

Switch over from AussieBroadband 100/40 (nothing wrong with them, just we have different priority now) to Mungi 50/20, and all up and connected in 2 hours! I did a speed test during busy period, and despite their typical evening speed listed, the speed actually perform very close to the maximum speed.
Their team responds to the message promptly and does not insult your intelligence by rehashing the same script over and over again. Seriously good customer service.
Their DNS is set to CloudFlare's 18.104.22.168 and Google's 22.214.171.124 as a backup, so that's also nice. I don't have to tinker with my router to change it. Haven't had a single dropout. So far quite impressed!
One of the best NBN provider that you can find, excellent local customer support, and never let you down.
Best ISP to date
Connected to Mungi for NBN and I’ve had the best experience from an ISP to date. I was connected within 30 minutes once the day hit business hours and the connection has been rock solid since. The customer support team also does a great job tailoring their efforts to your level, so if you’re not technical you don’t have to worry about being overwhelmed. Meanwhile, for those technical ones out there they’re happy to discuss the more intricate configurations too. I’ve already referred friends and family to them and will continue to do so.
Upda...te: I have since switched to Aussie Broadband, but it was only because Mungi have discontinued their nbn100 plan. For anyone that cannot reach the 100mbps speeds, which is most people on inferior copper FTTN connections, I would still recommend Mungi.
Good customer service
Great customer service and very prompt replies via email.
Only negative thing about the set up was that it didn't really have any proper instructions. If an older person with limited computer skills tried to set it up it would be near impossible. I found it quite difficult.
Definitely need to include very detailed instructions e.g. how to log into the modem (I had no clue), etc.

Excellent International speed and customer service
I am on NBN HFC connection and recently churned from another provider to Mungi. The whole process was very smooth, and I can reach support via online chat easily.
The most impressive thing about Mungi is their International speed on L2 network. With my previous provider, even though I was on a 100/40 connection, speed to Asia location cannot reach 20Mbps, let alone peak time. With Mungi, I get full speed on my 50/20 connection to virtually every part of the world, and ping times are better than most ISPs I have used before.
Only a small hiccup at the start all sorted with a ph call. So far connection has had no issues and speed is fine for our needs.

New to NBN and I had read many bad reviews about the experience. Read positive reviews about Mungi and their service. We ordered a new pre set VOIP modem at a discount. When we were advised by Mungi the NBN was connected we plugged it in and it worked as expected. Too easy and the speed is much better than we had with the ADSL2 from another provider. Better monthly fees and no contract! Phone was plugged in to new modem and apart from a few tweaks we had to make to the provided instructions it also works well. Great and prompt service with no dramas and dealing with an Aussie business and customer service team makes me happy.

I signed up for Mungi's 100/40 package , and have been pleasantly surprised with the prompt activation (1 business day since I'm on FTTP) and excellent continuous service. The friendly and helpful customer support team is easy to reach via webchat and phone. I moved over from Buzz Telco a few months ago, and have been a happy customer since.
From the time of order to up and running 2.5 days and 2 days was waiting for modem to arrive int post. Excellent service from the whole team, they were so easy to deal with. Have done speed tests in the morning and in the afternoon and average 45mbps on a 50 plan.

Just so good
I got onto Mungi from various review sites, in particular whirlpool.
They were everything as advertised. Fast, easy, efficient, and available on the phone without a 1 hour wait on hold.
If you have ever had problems dealing with dingbats on the phone after waiting for hours on hold, if you feel the experts you speak to are less knowledgeable than you, if you just hate the experience of calling for help more than the internet not working, then these guys are for you :)

I have a FTTN connection with Mungi. From initial contact, through to order placement then delivery, the customer service has been excellent. Service works well & highly recommended. My change to NBN has been something I was putting off given some of the horror stories in the media but with Mungi it went perfectly!
I had bad internet speed before but now its great
The process was great and it did not take very long before I had it connected.
At the moment the connection it very reliable and I have not had any dropouts.
Its a pity that they can not be contacted by phone over the weekends but otherwise the service is very good.
Outstanding customer service
Moved to Mungi NBN after my previous provider hiked their prices. We've had at least 6 providers for NBN now and hands down, Mungi is the best by far. Calls and tickets lodged for support are answered almost immediately. Think I can finally stop shopping around. Great job Mungi!
suprisingly great experince
My premium FTTN NBN provider was having another outage earlier this week, so after chatting with Jamie, I signed up with Mungi. 40 minutes latter I was connected and haven't looked back. I haven't experienced any slow downs in peak times at all. And just to top it off, I'm saving $15 a month.
Highly Recommended - Great Service, Great Support, Great Price - Can't go wrong
Mungi is great value. I switched over my FTTP service in Sydney to them about a month ago and in this entire month I have not had any drop outs, my IP address has not changed once. Internet speeds are amazing. Slight congestion with international speeds during peak time only but this is expected to be fixed with their L2 network expected to launch sometime this year. I've had to contact support once and received a response within minutes. Very pleased with the service and support. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

Best customer service ever
We connected to the NBN with our existing provider 12 months ago but kept encountering problems without much support from our ISP. The final straw was when they kept promising that they’d fix a fault in 48 hours - after almost 3 frustrating weeks we started to contact other providers to see if they’d be prepared to transfer our account with an unresolved fault. Mungi agreed so we bit the bullet and we’re so glad we did. Within 6 hours of the transfer they’d connected us and resolved the outstanding fault. At all times, they’ve been helpful and friendly, we’ve had no more dropouts and our speeds are much better too. It's early days but we’re very pleased with this new young provider.

If the modem is capable of the current NBN technology you are on and you have a basic understanding of how to login to the device and change your login details, you can easily sign up with them.
They may be able to assist you as well with the configuration.
