Shocking company / Would NOT recommend!
If you are about to drop $37k+ on a pool I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. The entire process has been horrific and I regret building with MFP. I had withheld the final invoice of $300 which I was told to pay only once they came and fixed the multiples holes in the grout and fixed the pool filter which was built backwards, only 9 months after handover have they come and fixed one of the last issues I told them about just after handover. Now my pool lights are full of water and which says it is a safety issue on the web...sites I have searched although MFP are refusing to even have a conversation about it, I got a rude email saying "thats your prerogative" I have paid the invoice and feel I need to let others know how bad my experience was. This is on top of the unnecessary damages to my property which I am hundreds of dollars out of pockets to fix, credit to them they did give me $150 credit as they smashed my large pots under the patio although they badly damaged all my front garden bordering which is expensive to replace and considering there was such a large front clearance for machinery the lack of care was upsetting. There were cigarettes left everywhere (I lost count of how many I picked up after handover along with bits of plastic) even though they knew I had a puppy in the yard and put a bin out back. A botch fence job (once again out of pocket to pay a different company money to fix it), I had a glass panel fence put in but he hadn't measured it properly so at the end he used normal timber slats, I was mortified when I saw the finished product. As the filtration system was put together backwards (pictures attached) the pool couldn't be cleaned properly for months as it was impossible to remove the box (I had to contact them on multiple occasions to argue with them and sent multiple videos until they finally sent someone) and then multiple holes in the grout between the tiles, getting quoted for things then charged more, the list goes on. The owner of MFP then sent me a rude email saying it was my fault for not been there at the house to give access to the grout fixer, completely unfair considering he called me five minutes before with no prior notice and I work over an hour away. Not to mention the lack of communication at every step of the process, the supervisor was incredibly rude on multiple occasions. I raised my concerns multiple times although staff were not communicating with one another and I had to go around in circles. There were delays amongst contractors, I have an email from the GM saying the fencer "would lie to paint himself in a better light". I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company. The whole experience was distasteful and stressful with a lack of customer care. I strongly advise finding a different pool company to use.
