Upped the fee for gift cards

They used to be good I loved layby gift cards for Xmas not anymore the have upped the fees to $60 from $10 for a $500 gift card and it's now $24 for $200 cards rediclous I refuse to do anymore orders .

I agree with other review regarding big price hike for vouchers,(Jetstar).will not use service again.Csn buu them on line or supermarket from now on.Also customer service,to lazy to look into why vouchers have not arrived.

For years I've been buying gift vouchers. Jumped online to order more and they've put the price up by $40, so that's an extra $60 on top of the $500, what a joke. Doesn't cost $60 to post a gift voucher.

TERRIBLE! Broken product and disgusting customer service

Ordered two salt and pepper dinner sets $200 in total. Both sets had numerous broken items on arrival. Dramas and rude service. Very distressing to open packaging and customer service rude and terminating calls. Made to feel as it was my fault. Just awful. Have spent several thousand dollars over past couple of years for this treatment by them.

Paid off a coffee machine only to find they didn’t have it. They offered me a much cheaper item. I found a listed one for comparable price. Several emails were sent by me and went unanswered. I requested a full refund and went and bought my coffee machine elsewhere. At some point they had run out of stock but didn’t bother contacting customers about it. I won’t use them again.

Ordered and paid in full for an item required for a special occasion. Even allowing for a 3 week delay and then a 2 week delivery period, the item was still now delivered on time. I had to contact them to follow up as they were completely unaware item had not been delivered.

Spent three weeks getting the product, then faulty, advised a refund and have still not received. Staff member I was dealing with has now resigned, manager refused to accept responsibility. Deal with extreme caution

Delivered my item broken

gives the run around/ item was send broken two weeks have passed and no contact with two emails sent for a replacement. Delivered products unsafely leaving them at the front door. Bad customer service.

I used to use mylayby for almost literally everything. Tv, motorcycle, fridge/freezer you name it. Now since they sold to Laybyland I have to go back to using Chrisco :( much dearer than Mylayby used to be.

I went to buy a item from mylayby - However due to Bad coustmer service, I went to cancel my order & get a refund. I had around $165.95 paid & had Proof the funds was paid, sent them a screen shot & they said, it was for a seperate order when it wasn’t - Mylayby taken just over $80 from me & now saying, it going to cost me another $10 to get my funds back. - Watch our, this company is a total SCAM

Ive been with them 3yrs now ordered every year.. they have great response time i always just email. Always allow two weeks after last date for delivery because its the postage will mess you up not them. Sure customer service on phone sucks lol so i always just email them instead lol. They are flexible to change as i always changed my mind alot lol. If you’re not sure just layby credit layby till your ready. Price is a mark up from normal market lol but hey its layby not a bad thing. Id recommend these guys obviously with 3 years straight running. Easy payments and i always got my stuff in time.

Put some things on layby for Christmas, only received 2 of the 3 items I paid off. Called them about 4 times in one week to see where my order was, all they told me was that they would follow it up. Called this morning because I need that present by Monday (Christmas Day) and they aren't in office till the 27th!!!

Paid off a dune buggy for my girls Christmas present. Fully paid by November and advised delivery would be in early December.
My husband has made daily calls to these guys to find out when it would be delivered, and has been told that HE needed to call the transport company...
Have been told now that we will not be receiving the item before Christmas & they do not have the ability to call and explain, apologise or offer a refund.
Really stuffed up Christmas for my girls.


when placing an item on layby it should be kept aside, not when you have paid it off

i had a christmas sculpture on layby for 3 months, had paid it off and had to chase it up, they told me at the office that they do not hold the items till paid off , what sort of layby is that , this is the second time this has happened

Won't deliver purchased product and won't respond

Purchased $1000 Harvey Norman Voucher. Once paid off, asked when I will receive voucher. They would not respond. Over a week later received a small powerbank?!. Asked them to send me my purchased product and once again they will not respond. It's been over 2 weeks, they will not respond and they will not send me the $1000 voucher I bought. Not many options remaining due to their actions, can only really consider fair trading. Maybe they have run out of money and spent their customers Layby payments without buying the product.

Brought a cubby laybyed in feb paid off in october only then was i notified the discontinued they then offered me another cubby that wasnt even close to being the same i asked for a refund they refused then i got vouches they got lost didnt recieve them till 17 days later and then has to wait 24hours for activation they also charged me $50 for the vouchers.

Have been dealing with this group for just on 5 yrs and for me I love it, can't fault customer service, alway been polite and most helpful. Have changed my orders on numerous occasions with no props and rushed orders out for me before christmas. Love the convenience of 52wks to pay. Read the terms and conditions as sometimes items for reasons out of their control can't be supplied but it does state this. Love this group

I waited up to ten days just to get a small refund. I called MyLayby to follow up and basically they could not be bothered. I will never shop with them again.

Have been waiting since the 26/09. They claim it should be in today or tomorrow but with the way they have been responding over the phone I find that hard to believe. Sound useless like they hate their job!

I wouldnt buy a thing from mylayby or chrisco anymore. Try Hamper King or Afterpay instead.

I have just paid of a gift voucher jumped online to order another one and theyve added extra money on top dramatically.$60 ontop of a $500 one.which is rediculous. i will be looking at the hamper places again
