Refused refund faulty food
Refused to refund applaws kitten food that was faulty. It smelled off and the consistency was cluggy. Last time this happened we were told to bring it back and refund, yet refused this time. Shocking!!
Pet Crate - Customer Service
I unpacked the Pet Crate into the garage when returning home only to find 2 screws missing. Contacted store a few days later only to encounter an arrogant non-customer service person (emphasis on non). She advised that maybe I was mistaken and the missing screws were empty cable tie holes, I was already aware of this hence my call. Call ensued and the person insisted that I must bring the product back into the store for inspection so these can be replaced. Advised this is difficult and it was the responsibility of the store to inspect the items...prior to sale as it was one whole item. As a customer I was not expecting the store to do much more than rectify the issue by mailing out a replacement part. Non-customer service person advised that it was the customers responsibility to inspect the item was in working order, strange I know that as the purchaser I was legally responsible for its working order. Call was not going anywhere as I may as well have been speaking to a monkey as they made about as much sense. I will go into the store and return the item as defective and demand a refund. Will pick up a second hand carrier for 50% of the cost from Marketplace. Stores like this wonder why they are not making any money and go out of business, it all the online shoppers fault. Same old story ! Maybe if these stores focused more on customers and treating them like customers and not idiots they would survive, assume this store will not last another 2 years if less

terrible staff in fitzroy
staff hardly recognised my partner, myself or our dog when we first entered the store. Wasn't asked once if we'd like assistance and didn't speak to us at all when we checked out our items. wouldn't recommend this specific 'mypetwarehouse' to anyone due to the unapproachable, unhelpful, impolite staff.
Went to the South Melbourne store. Had been there trying out a carry bag for my chihuahua, for the price of around $80. Wasn't too sure about sizing so said I would think about it. Went across the street to get a coffee n call my daughter and send photos of said bag to get her opinion about whether to go back n purchase it.Got bailed up across the street by the owner saying I couldn't leave my car in their car park. I told him the story and he said I still could not leave my car there even though I was technically a customer. Told him that I wa...s a customer, but he proceeded to take my car registration details all the while filming me on his phone. ! ..and telling me to leave.. never in my life of shopping have I been treated this way. Disgusting management!
Amazing customer service, affordable products.
I visited the Northcote store this week and the lady working there was amazing. She was so good with my dog, and took the time to help my rather frustrating mum with a coat for her dog. Every time I visit the service is great. There is such a big variety of products, and they’re so affordable! It’s your one stop pet shop

Very happy with my purchase. Product was not in stock but they kept me updated and answered any emails I sent very promptly. Each time they offered me a refund if I didn't want to wait. I was happy to wait. When my delivery arrived it came with a little bag of lollies which I thought was a nice touch. Will definitely use this company again.
Dissapointing. Do not price match.
I went to the store (>20 kms away fr home) trying to price match, but the store refused to price match with petstock's sale price.

I even can go to petbarn near my home to match the sale price of items in mypetwarehouse easily. Maybe this will be my last time trying to purchase in mypetwarehouse.
Great service and knowledge
Went to the Murrumbeena store earlier this week and cannot be more satisfied with my experience! The staffs were extremely knowledgeable and gave me plenty of advices and recommendations. The prices are affordable compared to other large pet store chains. With the pleasant service received, think I will be buying from My Pet Warehouse from now on :)
Appalling treatment by staff! Do not buy vet food here!
I went into your south Melbourne store a few weeks back with the intention of picking up my online order for Hills Science Diet vet food. I was under the impression that if I bought it before 2pm I would be able to pick it up in the afternoon after I finish work (as I have always done for years). But when I went into your store the blue-green haired girl at the counter told me I would not be able to pick up my order for at least 24 hours because it could take that long to process my order. I explained that wasn't possible for me because I only ...work in the city on certain days and it would be another week before I could come pick up my cat's VERY IMPORTANT food. She didn't seem to care and basically just shrugged her shoulders and told me those are the rules. Nothing on your website indicates that there has been a rule change regarding prescription vet food! Even after I explained that my sick cat would not have any food for the next week, I was told if I needed the food that desperately then the 'easiest' thing to do would be go to the nearest vet and purchase some there!! I am beyond furious about this! My poor cat went four days without his food and developed an even more serious case of bladder crystals in the meantime. I had PAID for a product and yet your staff did not allow me to take something I had already PAID for!! I will be taking this further and also contacting Hills about the way you treat customers who buy their brand.

I went to My Pet Warehouse in Osborne Park today - by far the most information i have EVER received about feeding my puppy. Josh went through the brands and answered any questions that I had. I feel that i walked out armed with knowledge on how to better feed my Labrador so she will live a long and happy life!
Guarantee i wont be going to any normal pet shops in the future.

Nightmare Parking at Stafford Store! - STAY SAFE
My Pet Warehouse markets their business as a bulk pet store warehouse, (yes it's even in the name). I went to the Stafford store today to buy a 20kg bag of chook pellets and two bales of straw. I knew I was picking up some heavy and bulky items so I parked at the back as I have previously. *- Note parking out the front is unbelievably dangerous as you have to either stop on busy Grange/Webster Rd and reverse in or drive front ways and reverse into Grange/Webster Rd traffic.
SO I park at the rear and walk into the bulk store to pick up my bul...k goods. There is no barrier stopping me from entering the store from the rear carpark and I have previously. The service was non existent, (to be expected) and after finding my products I took photos of the stock codes and paid. * - Note if you don't photograph or write down the stock code they can never find the products in their system and payment takes for ever. Nobody offers to help me load the heavy and bulky items into the car so I carry the 20kg bag on my shoulder. HOWEVER a chain barrier has now appeared blocking me from getting out. I ask what the barrier is for and is it safe for me to get to my car? The young lady informs me I can go out that way on this occasion but I cannot use the rear entrance Monday to Friday. This is all news to me and incredulous I ask her if she thinks it's safe for customers to use the dangerous Grange/Webster Rd entrance. She just did not care. I am writing this to prevent accidents. Do not shop at My Pet Warehouse - Stafford. There is no safe access to the store for you or your vehicle.
Really should not put price match promise*
I am very disappointed that i went into a store today and after calling someone and asking if the cat litter I wanted to buy would be price matched (from $69.95 price matched to $57.95), I was told that it was not possible!
I understand that he policy says that "in some rare circumstances" in cannot be done however, the site I was price matching with was a) Australian b) had free shipping c) the product was in stock and d) the price was not a discounted price.
I believe this is quite a misleading claim to make particularly when pretty muc...h any price matching request I make will probably be rejected. I was told by the shop assistant (whom was very courteous) that it would be below cost and we would do it only if it was a $3-4 difference etc etc. However, if there are several places that sell these products for significantly cheaper, I highly doubt that is the case. I unfortunately will not be shopping here again.

Had a wonderful experience at the Rowville store. Great range of products and staff super helpful and friendly. Jax was very knowledgeable and spoilt my staffy Lenny with lots of love. She is now chewing away happily on one of the treats Jax recommended.
I went into My Pet Warehouse Osborne Park a few days ago to get my pet python some frozen fuzzy mice. There was 3 packets left and all of them were rotting, some of them were smaller than pinkie mice and mainly just dry bone with a tiny bit of flesh covered in blood. I was sure i was NOT going to feed my python that sort of food. They were lying on the bottom of the freezer and 2 of them had a big red sticker on them but i don't know what that was for.They should definitely not have this type of stock in their store. I am very disappointed and will return to buying from Pet Barn.

Great customer service
Finally My Pet Warehouse has opened in Rowville. Have been in twice now since opening and have found they have pretty much everything I need for my two girls which is great. There is even an indoor DIY bath which is a huge plus. The store Manager Jax was a wealth of knowledge and couldnt have helped more. The other staff members were very helpful and loved my girls which is a huge plus. I wish the store all the best and plan to visit often :)
