Bad customer service
Been to several times in Myer located in the town hall location, where I find there is serious discrimination from the sales of some luxury brands, which includes: Giorgio Armani and Yves Saint Laurent. The sales trying to avoid eye contact and do not wanna talk to me obviously. Am I look at the person who would not shop in the luxury cosmetics shop? I Will not go to these two stores anymore.
Not worth the visit
Myers Melbourne is an overall great place with a large variety of products. The place is kept clean and the atmosphere is great. Just something to keep in mind however is that all items are extremely expensive, so one gift card will usually not do the trick.
The old man who worked near the Superdry items in the Christmas period is nice.
TL:DR - Do not visit

Their technology department lacks a good variety of technology, best go to JB HI-FI, the Good Guys or other places....
Why dont they put on clothing dimensions
I really want to clothes shop online from Myer but they dont make it easy. The true fit algorithm is kinda fun but doesn't allow me to add the clothes that I actually own as the ones that fit well were made by me. I just want to know things like hip width waist width etc on items of clothing I don't care about size. I will not buy unless I can compare my dimensions wity a tape measure. This information is just not available instead you have to add clothes that you own and you get a recommendation. The algorithm is fun but I hate being forced to...use it and enter personal data to yet another third party website. Can we just have measurements in either cm or inches and do away with sizing altogether. I will continue to only shop from places that treat me like an adult who can honestly measure her own dimensions and make an informed decision.
Paid for the gift wrapping, but they just put it on a box :(
I paid an extra $7.95 for the gift wrapping. But the product came just in a carton box with nothing, no ribbons, no wrapping paper.
Exchange of goods received as gift
I received a gift for my kid for for her birthday. It was a t-shirt but the size was too small. I went to the store in our area to exchange the size and I was told they no longer are allowed to exchange without receipt. The lady at the cash register indicated it has been two years since change of policy. And she told me to return the gift to whoever purchased it (!) and ask them to exchange the size. I found this so weird to go back and hassle the person who bought this and ask them to change the size for me! I decided to donate the t-shirt.
I expected much more from a store such as Myer which at some point was my preferred store.
Bought a product and was damaged after 1 wash
I bought a triumph bra online for click and collect and I washed it in the machine in a bra bag and found a rip in it. I tried taking it back but they wouldn’t do anything about it, they kept accusing me of lying.
scarce stock and bad online order experience
Myer had a 1 day only online sale on Perfumes and EDT sprays- up to 20% off. It was a good deal, considering the fact that, you rarely get discounts or promotions on Perfumes. I ordered 4 items and put them down as Click and collect. My payment went through. 10 minutes later, i got a email saying that my entire order has been cancelled....no reason or explanation. I was very angry, but straightaway did another exact order. This one went through. 3 items were delivered, but not the 4th one, which i wanted desperately, because it was a nice gift ...pack and the same price as buying the item on it's on. Called Customer service, spoke to a nice lady. She told me to wait for at least 2 weeks. Got an email yesterday, saying that order has been cancelled due to unavailability of the gift pack nation-wide. My question is why would a store like Myers put it out for online deal, when they know the product is so scarce. What are you trying to run here..a scam..? Regardless, i called CS again to send me the single item. The guy i spoke to today, was an A-- He emphasize so much on the fact that they are going to do this as a good will...you must be kidding me.."Goodwill". You guys should have done this as to honor the advertised price and give me some bonus samples or something.....This sort of service is totally unacceptable from MYERS...what a shame...!
urgently needed sunscreen product
Placed an order on 16 Sept 2020; live in Lancefield VIC and as at 28 Sept - nothing!. Tried to track it and seems it's lying in Somerton for the last 8 days!; not good service!
Bad customer service phone team/system
I am not one to write bad reviews but I have had it up to my eye balls with the bad system that Myers have to talk to anyone/any shop/get any info you are looking for.
This is my 4th time calling, being either hung up on while the staff member was 'transferring me', being handballed to different departments, not giving me what I asked for, having to repeat myself over and over as they can either not hear with their phone sets or not listening in general.
This time I was handballed to 3 different teams, no one passing on the info I had already ...
Disappointing online experience
Always love shopping at Myer in store but personally Wouldn’t recommend buying anything from their online store, I know I won’t be after buying online 3 weeks ago and still not receiving my order and on top of all that I just got notification that it will be going outer state for processing because of a huge backlog in Victoria’s processing centre...fml

Anti theft tags often still attached on the clothes I bought online
I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping with Myer recently and every time they have delivered the clothes I bought, always the anti theft tags are still attached! And the other day again I received the jacket I bought online and the tag is still attached on the jacket!
This is just unbelievable, it’s so embarrassing for me to have to return to the store with tags still on them, passed through the scanners and the alarms will go off! If I have to go to the store to ask them to take the tags off, might as well shop in person at the store!
I bought a Jo Malone cologne from Myer online and I am very disappointed with the packaging. I am not happy at all with the service. Will rethink before purchasing anything.
I bought a Vitamix and some other accessories for this machine at night. 20 minutes later I saw another provider who offered a 100 dollars cheaper deal. The next morning at 9 am I called the customer service to cancel the order but was told that I couldn't because it has gone to the warehouse. The only way is to wait for the product to be delivered then organise a return via Post or at the local store. I waited for almost two weeks for the machine to come then drove all the way to the store to return the goods. It could have saved everyone's time and money if they operate their company more efficiently. No wonder Myer is going down.
Item packaging opened and bubble wrap protection tampered with.
I ordered 3 items but 1 of the bodum double wall thermo-glasses has been opened and the bubble wrap protecting the glass was removed. This is not hygienic during this Covid-19 pandemic as it is a drinking glass. In addition the cupboard packaging was torn and sticky tape was used to secure it back. Please can you explain what happened? Why was it opened? Thank you.
We purchased an expensive pair of jeans online but they were ill-fitting. I phone to organise a refund but was told that the jeans were a "clearance" item- I can't get an exchange or refund. I think this is unfair- I can't try them on when buying online during Covid-19 Myer store closures.

I recently purchased and item from Myers.
Received an email saying my item is being processed for return.
Then another email to say my item is out for delivery. And then a third email to say item has been returned.
Has anyone had this problem?
Going to try and contact Myers but phone calls a little bit of a wait and I’ve got classes to attend.
If the answer is yes or no.. I don’t understand how that resolves your particular purchase. Sorry
Hi there I have ordered the Beatles lego and noticed the money has come out twice ,once on Weds 14th April (with my reward taken off )and again on the 23 April for the full price of $129 ,could you please explain why to me as I only wanted one of these .Thanks for your help cheers Janice
