I recently purchased a new pair of skechers that were only just released and while there was a promo of 30% on all skechers shoes I was unaware that the new items would be for a discounted price. I was delighted to learn they were discounted. I got them $50 cheaper than from the manufacturer. Thank you Myer.
Are you paying the correct price at the till?
On 2 separate recent occasions at 2 separate Myer stores, I had decided to make a purchase based on the in store special discounts being offered on the particular days in question, Unfortunately, on the first occasion, it wasn't until after I had paid for my items that I realised that the discount hadn't been applied. When I returned to the sales desk I was advised that the discount was only applied automatically at certain tills within the store and at others, you have to supposedly point out the discount to the sales advisor even though you h...aven't got a clue as to which one of those different tills you are at. ( On reflection, that might have been a little bank stuff from the sales advisor). They therefore refunded the transaction ( which took 5 days to go back in to my account) before rescanning the items with the discount now applied which went out of my account immediately so I now had 2 transactions on my account for the next 5 days. Odd that money goes from your account immediately but takes several days to be refunded back to you? On the second occasion just yesterday at a completely different Myer store, I noticed that the 25% discount being offered hadn't been applied so pointed I out the discount to the sales advisor. He first advised that discount didn't apply to the item I was purchasing before then immediately changing his decision after I pointed out the big advert on the door which actually named the brand and specific item in question and was the reason why I had entered the store in the first place. How many other Myer customers have bought an item based on the advertised discount only to not realise that they ended up actually being charged the full price. On a positive note, I actually think that Myer is still one of the best stores in Australia for variety and great special discounts which are often much better than many other stores. They just need to sort out their advertised discounts so they are actually applied at the tills.
Great service, but the dispatch system is insane.
I ordered from Myer online on the 4th of June and as of today, the 15th, they have finally all arrived. I must say I've loved the quality of the clothes, their online system tracking was great for me and auspost was similarly great. But the system of sending random pieces from the order is ridiculous. You'd think one of the main purposes of ordering online from a place like Myer is that you can get all your stuff in one order, but mine came in bits throughout the last fifteen days, meaning I had to be home to make sure none of my order was left somewhere, lost or redirected.
Reading other reviews, I consider myself lucky to be assisted by a kind and competent assistant when I contacted Myer via Facebook chat. I tried different method, calling, raising dispute with the bank, last thing was the FB chat and it worked.
I ordered some essential items and got to wait. Ok I can wait. Then the item was delayed. Ok I can wait a bit more while shopping at other sites just in case this one doesn't work.
Then I received a very low quality product after a long wait. Unhappy, I threw that thing away because it's useless and not ...
Online order system is a bit outdated, however my ordered items were swiftly delivered.
I have placed 3 online orders with Myer in the last year as I don't live near a store. With my first order I had to return several items and had no problems doing this and the refund was processed quite quickly. All 3 orders arrived quickly also. My only issue with Myer online is the actual system, it's quite antiquated, clunky, and searching for items is a bit laborious. It needs to be simplified, streamlined and made more user-friendly.
Great online experience
Website easy to navigate; better than average quality ( I purchased pyjamas and a scarf); fast processing and delivery, despite the corona virus issues.
A good experience so will definitely use again very soon!
I ordered cloths, shoes and toys for my grandson. I thought price was good, service was good. They sent the goods in two deliveries. That's good rather than holding all. The only thing is, shoes needed replacement, that's proving bit challenging as local Myers stores are closed n need to understand how reverse logistics work.
Not bad at all.
Better than the in store experience
I stopped shopping in store at Myer a long time ago due to the pathetic level of customer service, there was never anyone to assist you and when I wanted to buy something I would always have to wonder the level looking for a staff member.
The online experience is good, if I know what I want (clothes normally) it is a lot easier than finding things in store as I can just search for it. I miss being able to try things on but their return policy is good.
The speed of delivery for me is good - but I live in a a metro area so that is to be expected.

I often buy items from MYER and without fail they always arrive. The items are often separated so you get them quicker which I’m happy with. I find their website really easy to use and the points system adds up quite quickly.
Navigating through the website was easy and the delivery was prompt. However, they could have told me that the free gift would come separate from the item purchased. Had to wait for 35 minutes on hold just to get this clarification.
I feel i need to leave a positive review after seeing complaints from others. I am thrilled to purchase bargains at their sale ($220 denim jacket down to $30, $150 dresses down to $30 and $80 tops selling for $20). Wow i got to say i have a heap of top quality new clothes for my work as a teacher (as we all know primary school teachers need decent clothes on a tight salary lol). I had about 8 new good quality outfits with labels like Cooper St and spent less than $200! Awesome! One star taken off for lack of customer service (had to hunt down a...cashier, went to few all were empty desks)... but if lack of staff means these type of bargains i’m cool ! Only thing to consider is no returns for the clearance clothing if i change mind... but i tried them all on so just had to be extra careful it all fit well.
I was initially sceptical shopping with them online as I'm used to the speed of Amazon and eBay etc.
But they didn't disappoint, found my product on sale cheaper than anywhere else online, free shipping. Ordered Sunday night and it was at my door Friday morning.
Highly recommending Myer
The associate I worked with was knowledgeable and helpful; she told me which brands she liked best, what their top-sellers were, and she explained the distinctions between different products. Great experience!!

Exceptional service - Had to collect something and make a return for something I bought off eBay. Whilst the delivery itself took longer than expected, the customer service I received at this store was exceptional. I couldn't find the order number initially (as eBays was different) and they went above and beyond to help me sort it out.
Good range of clothing, usually able to find something I need, good returns policy with refund if returned in 30 days, could be better organised with clothing racks at times.
Questions & Answers

So really just a review. Thanks.
I recently purchased and item from Myers.
Received an email saying my item is being processed for return.
Then another email to say my item is out for delivery. And then a third email to say item has been returned.
Has anyone had this problem?
Going to try and contact Myers but phone calls a little bit of a wait and I’ve got classes to attend.
If the answer is yes or no.. I don’t understand how that resolves your particular purchase. Sorry
