Prompt service, fair products
I bought two mattresses from Mytopia's bay store - 1 king single and 1 king, based on my experience of having bought a mattress from the store in 2019.
The king size mattress developed some issues. When I contacted their customer service, their first response was that I was using the mattress incorrectly and tried to blame me for the fault. However, after subsequent detailed communication with Sean, the mattress issues were resolved.
Purchased 16ft trampoline. It arrived faulty. They strung me along for months. In the end they said return in same packaging at my expense over $150. The packaging arrived in poor state, so that was impossible. (as did the trampoline.) Only advice is do not buy. Learnt my lesson to buy from a dodgy online store. Ended up paying more for a very high quality trampoline from jump star.
PROFLEX TRX2 Electric Treadmill - Utter crap
This is about the treadmill purchased from this store: PROFLEX TRX2 Electric Treadmill.
After 1 yr and 3 months of use, the treadmill belt is ripping in several places. Over the past year, I have had many operational issues with this machine. After about 6 months' of use, it started emanating a loud buzzing fan noise. Then a couple of months' after that, it kept suddenly stopping for no reason intermittently which is quite dangerous when you are having momentum walking and then it suddenly stops. A few times I almost tripped because the treadm...ill stops without notice. It is happening again now. It is a very poor quality machine. I would not buy this brand or this treadmill again. You would think after spending several hundred dollars, it would last more than 1.5 years' at least, even though the machine is not a reputable expensive brand. Mytopia customer service is also horrendous. When I made contact last year saying there is a faulty issue and it was still within warranty, they send me proforma responses without regard to my problem and then said that they will determine if it is faulty, and that I must pay the transportation fee to return the machine to their warehouse for inspection. To transport a machine this size, I can imagine it would cost at least a third of the price of this machine maybe half. They take no responsibility and sell cheap faulty goods that will last you half a year and then wipe their hands clean after. They asked for all this evidence such as a video, which I sent them and it was a total waste of my time. I do not know why they asked me to do this when they want me to still send the entire machine back at my own cost for further inspection. This is not how warranties work and Mytopia should be reported to the ACCC. I won't ever buy from this deplorable company again, or this brand!

This is an excellent product and amazing value. Unfortunately, after 15 months a fault developed. I contacted the seller who had a replacement en route the very next day, accepting my photos as evidence, not requiring the faulty blanket to be returned..
This is the best customer service I have experienced in years! At last, an ethical seller who stands behind the items he sells and doesn’t make you jump through hoops to get satisfaction under a warranty claim.

Bought a letterbox from them end of December 2020 (less than 2 months ago). Got drawn in by the low price. Noticed it started rusting already. I emailed them about this issue and got told that in the product manual that you can find nowhere on the advertisement it states that "Under Safety and General Equipment use and Care, the equipment is not weather proof and should not be stored in direct sunlight, at high ambient temperatures or locations that are damp or humid." 1st of all this was not said anywhere while advertising this letterbox and s...econd we are talking about a letterbox... which is most likely going to be outside... ad on ebay states " The stylish mail pillar powder coated finish offers plenty of kerb appeal and is made to last." Not even 2 months. Very disappointed in the product and the very misleading and below standard costumer service.

Purchased a EUROGRILLE BBQ. Due to covid I didnt use it or unpack it until late last year (2020)
Within a month the handles degraded and the stainless steel is highly pitted at the edges. They claimed it was of the same quality as $4,000 BBQ's. Contacted warranty and they wont warrant repairs. I am absolutely disgusted and will take it to the ombudsman.

THEIVES! DO NOT BUY!!! Received faulty products. Contacted via email, Instagram, Facebook no reply. Finally was contacted via WhatsApp. Told me to send items back (must be packaged etc) I had no packaging was told that was my issue as per the policy. Advised 10-12 weeks for replacement parts. Policy states 8 weeks. They follow their policy when it suits them! They had replacement stock in the warehouse to replace 4 of my faulty parts yet I had to arrange for the whole setting to be sent back (outdoor setting so 50 odd parts). Difficult to deal with. Take your money then won't help when they provide faulty items. Do not buy!!!!
Poor quality and they do not follow through on warranties
My ebike motor broke after 300km in less than a year and they refused to repair under warranty. Very disappointed at product and service
Very good Customer Service
The item I bought from mytopia was not so great but how the staff handled the complaint was outstanding. My emails were answered promptly and they followed through very efficiently. Even though the product was a dud, I would buy from these people again and have recommended them to others as well. This is how customer complaints are supposed to be handled - promptly, with no fuss or acrimony.
Eurocher 16L Air Fryer - Faulty - Poor customer service from Mytopia
I purchased a Eurochef Air Fryer in July 2020 on Ebay from Mytopia. The first issue was that there was limited instruction.
The manual had to be downloaded and printed out. It didn't have enough detail.
There were no recipes and no warranty card.
Two months after purchase the Air fryer started to turn off after a few minutes of cooking.
I had to send a video of the problem before they would take the item back.
I had trouble getting the company to pay for return postage however eventually they did.

Faulty product and worse communication
I bought this standing desk nearly a month ago, which arrived on time, however was faulty. This was through Kogan and both customer service to fix the issue was poor. No customer service and even when Mytopia called me, the agent was from overseas and he could not talk English. Awful servie

I was going to order a home gym set but have read all the fb reviews of how terrible the company is with not delivering or not answering or following up on warranty issues. Has anyone had dramas with the full home gym set?
