Would give zero stars - avoid at all costs
I purchased a treadmill in June 2020. It was damaged upon arrival and unusable. I notified Mytopia and sent photo evidence as requested. I was offered a $60 refund on a product which cost me $780. I refused. Mytopia agreed to a return of the item on 6/7/2020. Costumer service support had been easily accessible and seemly supportive until this point. I repackaged the item, attached the transit information and waited for it to be picked up. I am still waiting. Emails are no longer responded to, have left messages to be called back and no response.... I understand Covid is an issue but it is now January. I am nearly $800 out of pocket for an item which is absolutely unusable. I am starting to think my only option now is legal action. I have even resorted to leaving terrible reviews(but absolutely deserved) in a bid to get a response. Avoid this company at all costs!
This company hides behind a false facade. Do not believe the positive reviews. Their policy is unreasonable and the manner of their staff is atrocious. They are unapologetic and unhelpful when it comes to any sort of query. They will argue until the cows come home and outright refuse to provide customers with a refund despite being very well entitled to one. Spare your time, energy and sanity. Go elsewhere.
Very good Customer Service
The item I bought from mytopia was not so great but how the staff handled the complaint was outstanding. My emails were answered promptly and they followed through very efficiently. Even though the product was a dud, I would buy from these people again and have recommended them to others as well. This is how customer complaints are supposed to be handled - promptly, with no fuss or acrimony.
This company is unethical
Purchased a bike for a friend on spec as they have no showroom to try things out first. The bike turned out to be too big to ride safely. They claimed this was a "change of mind" so that they would not have to give us a refund. They also insisted on charging a 20% return fee, which would have been about $150. After much arguing, that was waived. Still no refund though. Please do not risk purchasing anything from this company as their business practices are unsound. They have kept $750 of my money and refuse to return it and are completely unapologetic about it.
Eurocher 16L Air Fryer - Faulty - Poor customer service from Mytopia
I purchased a Eurochef Air Fryer in July 2020 on Ebay from Mytopia. The first issue was that there was limited instruction.
The manual had to be downloaded and printed out. It didn't have enough detail.
There were no recipes and no warranty card.
Two months after purchase the Air fryer started to turn off after a few minutes of cooking.
I had to send a video of the problem before they would take the item back.
I had trouble getting the company to pay for return postage however eventually they did.

Terrible customer service
Purchased a portable electric induction cooker from Kogan Marketplace. When it arrived the plug does not fit into the wall socket, the two slanted on are correct but the third straight one is too large. Inside the box a pamphlet said to contact email@example.com. Three emails have been sent and not one has been replied to.

I ordered an oven from Mytopia and it was allegedly damaged at the courier’s depot - Hunter Express.
MyTopia sent me another one and when I opened the box, the glass front door of the oven was smashed into pieces. Same courier - Hunter Express!! When it’s printed “FRAGILE” in large bold letters all over the box, what does that mean I wonder??
I sent an email and a picture of the smashed oven to MyTopia and they sent another one the next day and used their own warehouse staff to personally deliver it. No issues when I received it.
Rubbish and poooooor service
It had manufacturing problem so I requested return and get back new one.
First of all it took soooo long time to get back. Special team hust excused because of COVID-19. But when it came first time in just 3 business days. And retuning took 1 month!
Second, even they didn’t write down unit number so Post is returned to collection center.
It’s far from home, e bike is heavy, and I don’t have a car.
I requested to post office re delivery but they said they can’t. So I should pick up by myself.

BE CAREFUL! - Misleading product information & return policy
I'm writing this review after submitting a complaint with Fair Trading about this company.
I purchased an ebike that was advertised as for people from 152-185cm tall. I paid $789. After checking with their customer support team, I decided to purchase the bike and pay an additional $69 to get them to assemble it for me as I kinda needed a bike urgently. Collected the already assembled bike at their Seven Hill warehouse after only 3 days, which was quick.

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
I Purchased an electric bike in April to ride with my kids during the Covid lockdown.
It has not worked since the day i got it, Wade was helpful at the start but i have now been liaising via email with Mary who has been unable to provide me with a reasonable service.
I have insisted on a refund as i believe the product to be inferior and the lack of customer service is disgusting, no return calls and emails that are always generic. Not to mention the amount of my own time its taken trying to get an outcome on a product i purchased as new!

We purchased a kids ride on car back in Feb, within a couple of hours of use it broke- we took a video and they said it was the drive motor, so they sent us out a new part to replace it, they sent us the wrong part and then after complaining they sent the correct part to our old address even after we notified them we had moved! Making us drive an hour out of our way to pick up the part! Once my partner replaced it again after a couple of days of use it broke again! We requested a refund but they said they wanted to inspect the car to see if the...y could repair it. We weren’t happy about this and said we wanted our money back. But they just ignored us and went ahead and repaired it and sent it back to us again. Only for it to be returned with a new issue of not going into reverse. Now they are trying to make me send it back again and want to attempt to repair! We have opened a case with ACCC and they are aware but still refuse refunding is! I have never dealt with a business so dodgy! I have asked numerous times to be contacted by a manager and they ignore my requests. Avoid them at all costs!
After sales service.
I had cause to contact Mytopia as my electric bike was not functioning to it's best. I contacted Mytopia service and was contacted very promptly by Wade who offered support and possible solutions to my dramas. As we are living in a remote part of WA there was no-one who could help here so his support was very welcomed.
In the end we solved the issues and now will begin to fully enjoy the experience.

Customer service lacking...
Customer service doesn't exist in this company. There's an automated message saying they are unable to answer your calls and direct you to an email address. THIS is supposed to be answered within 1 business hour - fat chance of that! I received a faulty item and they tried to say they would repair it and send it back to me rather than a refund! Make sure you use paypal for your purchase as it will always support any disputes.

Unbelievably bad service and impossible to get a resolution. It had been months!! The courier they have provided isn’t picking up my parcel and without it they won’t give me a refund despite them admitting the product it faulty!!
Great after-sales warranty service
Prompt replacement of a faulty foldout solar panels, 1 week before the end of warranty. Return and send postage covered. Not out of pocket. I could give fewer stars for a faulty product but stars are for after-sales service. Great feedback too.
Terrible customer service
Bought a faulty item. Complained to the seller about it and the seller ignored my email. Paypal refunded money and now they are sending me harassing emails. Really awful customer service. I would avoid this company at all cost.

Never never ever buy anything from mytopia. Be aware!!! Never ever trust their information on the website. As It may be incomplete. At any time they charge you 20% for change of mind and they never accept return for full refund so it's better to go somewhere else. It was my first and last time that I placed an order with mytopia l advise all people to be aware...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
