Nice looking bike, great service.
It was a Christmas present for my 74yo Mum. The user guide from the QR code is not for the same bike, so the basket/brakes set up was completely different and it’s was a struggle to get it together, few screws missing, the rattan basket is fragile and easily breaks in your hand as I found out when trying to attach front basket and frame to front forks, the seat post was too high for my mum she is 164cm so I had to hack saw 10 cm off the seat pole so it would go down. The seat was a little hard so we changed it after the first ride but it’s not ...easy as the post has a lever to push the seat forward fir access to the battery removal. The battery rattles when bike is ridden, the wheels on this one are disk brakes, the manual is padded breaks. When you turn the front wheel the mudguard hits your foot when riding. The dust flap in the inside probably needs to be removed. The bike looks good, the grips are a fake leather so they get slippery in your hand but the shape is comfortable. My Mum likes the ergonomic design of the bike. It comes with a very small, battery operated back light, but no screws or place to attach it, it has a clip but it’s not going to hold on the bike. My other ebike has an electric light like on the front. The power is good. [Name Removed] from Customer Resolutions was very helpful when I sent an email about the throttle. He went above and beyond and made it simple for us to figure out. Thanks [Name Removed], your an asset.
Looks good but the quality is not the best, we had to download instructions, this would of been easier if they could of them packed with the bed as well.

I bought a Eurochef induction stove top which I had to return because, despite no warning on the website, this item had a notice on the packaging and the item that it required installation by a licensed electrician. This would have cost an extra $100.
The response emails I received from this company were all about avoiding responsibility and I really got no help until I went to Paypal.I got a refund of 80% as they labelled the refund as 'change of mind' And I was also expected to pay for the return postage.BUYER BEWARE This company has no idea or interest in how to deal with consumer complaints.
They send the product after verifying you own your credit card, which takes 48 hours at least. So don’t believe in the 24 hours dispatch they mention on their website, not true!

Can't Cancel 6Burner BBQ
This issue was fixed and the difference refunded. Some how I missed the discount box, or it wasn't there and with the new eBay automatic payment system, didn't go into PayPal as I had expected, and unable to back-out and enter the discount code, so emailed Mytopia immediately explaining that I am pensioner and cannot afford to loose the $167.80 discount, explained the situation and requested they cancel the order so I could try again. I also pressed the eBay 'Cancel Order' button(thinking that would save me) (eBay say I have an hour to do this...and I had done it within 15 mins) only to get an email from [name removed] at Mytopia store to say that they are unable to cancel an order which has been paid and to read their policy and that I could use their 'Change Of Mind' policy instead, where I would have to Pay for the BBQ to be returned and also pay a restocking fee of 20%. This would obviously cost more than the discount I would get on re-ordering. Several emails later and [name removed] did answer all my emails but still insists they cannot cancel or credit the order or apply the discount. BBQ has not been delivered yet so can't rate it. Very disappointed. Happy to say that this issue was satisfactorily resolved. THANKYOU [name removed] for your your understanding and confirming that the mobile Ebay app can act this way.

I bought a $365 electric scooter in November.
The product had no less than three faults before failing completely within a couple of months.
Customer service was somewhat responsive helping to address the faults but when the time came to request a refund i was offered a partial store credit.
I insisted on a refund and this was finally granted.
Know your rights.
Shafted by fine print
Bought an electric scooter which was great but once it had a fault, within the warranty period, I've been told I have to pay for the packaging and shipping costs back to their NSW store.
In their words "We are only able to offer free shipping on returns for up to 60 days from the purchase date. This is all outlined in the terms and conditions of purchase on the product listing."
What an absolute joke. First and last purchase from me.
They're okay, but things definitely need to be sorted out.
I bought a Bullet XCT85 Electric Scooter through Mytopia on eBay. The purchase process was good, delivery was out within a few days and arrived just a few days into the new year - but that's where the troubles began.
The scooter arrived broken: screws did not fit in, the power button was pushed in and did not turn on the scooter. I contacted Mytopia on the phone and had a good experience from the start. After I sent them photos/videos of the damage, I then spoke to the tech. I asked Mytopia to provide me steps of remedy and I had tried to ca...ll them every few days or every day to sort this out because it was annoying having a damaged scooter and was not receiving any emails or contact back after 24-48 hours as they advised. Their contact call centre hours are a lie - I rung at 11:30am after they opened but they were not open. I rang during different hour periods (within the hours of opening) and they were still "shut". A bit of a pain. In the end, I was offered a refund but advised I would prefer a new scooter. To get this part sorted took much longer than it should have, but in the end I received a fully functioning scooter. I am happy with the purchase, but am annoyed at how their contact centre runs.
Very poor customer service
Purchased an outdoor setting via this place, it was reduced by applying a discount code at checkout. I was sent a message via payment method that I was charged the higher price despite what I agreed to at checkout. I cancelled the order and sent communication as to why. Tried to phone all day the last day of the sale, due to high demand the phone was not answered, sent an email no response. Got through on the telephone the day after the sale ended and despite all email evidence and offering photo evidence of the payment method receipt they would not honour the sale price.
I purchased a stealth 1-6 electric scooter from mytopia in 2018 for myself and my kids to enjoy. It is a great scooter but the company's claim of 50kph top speed is false. Top speed is 32kph,so if you are expecting 50kph forget it.

And to add to my first review I wrote, mytopia offered to post a part out for me to install in my scooter to fix the top speed problem, which I was more than happy to do, then they changed their mind and requested I return the scooter to Sydney at their expense, I'm in qld and this was not a favourable solution. Don't bother to call them, I tried many times,email is the only way I could correspond.
DSW Eames Dining Chairs faulty could not assemble
Purchased online which was easy. Chairs arrived in the time they stated it would.
I had trouble assembling them as their was pieces of plastic inside the holes where screws needed to go. When i contacted Mytopia they asked if i could pick the pieces out. I tried but was hesitant to use too much force as I thought it would void the warranty. They said I would need to send them back and outlined how to do it explaining that i needed to package the chairs properly to ensure no damge in transit. I said I would package them how they arrived as i...had kept all packaging in perfect condition. They said as long as it wasn't damaged on arrival and if I needed extra packaging I could go to bunnings to get it. I felt this was unacceptable for me to purchase extra items to send back faulty chairs. I told them I think I had gone beyond what was required of a customer by trying to fix the initial problem myself (plastic in threading) and wouldn't be purchasing extra packaging. It was a long process back and forth (above is the short version). I ordered the chairs early so there was plenty of time to assemble for use. With the issues and back and forth by the time it was done there was no time to send them back and wait another 4-6 weeks for assesment of problem and redelivery. We live rurally in WA and don't have many options when it comes to buying new chairs (hence purchasing online) . I took the risk and when my partner came home he used brute force to get the screws in. It worked. We have had them for approx 5 months and I would say they are o.k. they have plastic pieces on the bottom which they said was to ensure no damage to floors but they are leaving crescent marks on our vinyl flooring and one screw has come out of the leg twice (on the same chair) causing my partner to fall to the floor once. They are no good to attach a baby feeding chair to as they don't have enough weight to anchor the baby as you can imagine as the chairs are plastic moulded. I did choose to keep the chairs in the end as I state above but it was more out of exhaustion and necessity after all the back and forth and not wanting to wait another month or more for chairs as we needed them right then. I would hesitate before using mytopia again and my next purchase of dining chairs would be of a more solid type.
product didnt arrive
I ordered a hoverboard for my sons birthday. It wasnt delivered and when I questioned Mytopia they told me that the courier had returned it because the address was "unknown". They advised me that only a limited number of characters could be used for the first address line (I had also put "authority to leave at back door", as I often do, without ever having a problem before, in many dozens of online purchases). This issue was not apparent when I filled in their online form and the address is in full on my order confirmation. Thus there was no wa...y I could have known that the way I had written my address would be a problem. Their system also dropped the last digit from my phone number so the couriers couldnt call me to check . The couriers also didnt call Mytopia, just sent it straight back. Mytopia took no responsibility and would charge me $65 to have it redelivered. I opted for a refund as I didnt trust their delivery system any more. i think they should check addresses or fix their ordering programme for future customers. I hope they do honour the refund promise, at least. On the positive side, I can say they did communicate politely and responded promptly to my emails.
Do not buy from this company. (UPDATED)
I bought a solar panel, battery and pump for my fish pond. It arrived in a timely manner, and well packed. End of good experience. The pump would not run after the sun had gone down, despite having a battery. I contacted them and they said I had to run it for ten minutes each hour only, if I wanted it run at night also. I replied, telling them I did not then, understand why I had a battery - that is the whole point of having one - so that you are charging for use once the once has gone down, whilst still running the pump during sunlight. They s...ent an email back, saying that they would replace, no need to return the faulty one, would I just send them a photo of it running in full sun, for warranty purposes. So I took the panel down from on top of a wall it had been sitting on, took a photo, sent it to them, threw the faulty one away . Then I got an email saying they wanted the faulty one back. I replied that I had disposed of it. Now they have stopped replying. $126 later - no pump, no replacement, no refund - and no response. Do not buy from this company. UPDATE this issue has (finally) been resolved. I did eventually receive a full refund, and also an apology for Being messed around etc, which was nice.
