Warning! SCAM…You will pay way more than quoted!

I had ordered 2 items from Walmart to ship to Australia. Fairly straight forward and shipping was quoted at 39.00 USD. But when I received my bill, I was charged for;
••GST (double the value)
••Address correction (Walmart didn’t include the suite number I had entered)
••Dangerous goods fee
••Insurance (I didn’t ask for)
••Shipping (Double the quoted price)

The charge was 3.5 times higher then the quoted price in USD which when converted to AUD was another 50%!
When I calculated what it would have cost to just order the same two items on EBAY Australia, turns out it would have been 100.00 cheaper!
Do yourself a favour and stay away from this SCAM!!! Show details

Poor service. Bad first impression

This organisation’s processes felt amateurish. Be cautious of their terms and conditions particularly regarding their fees and their ability to hold onto and open items in certain situations. There are other freight forwarders out there that provide better service however if you must use them, start with lower value items. Show details

first class service

i must admit i cannot fathom all the negative reviews of this company.
i have dealt with them for many years and have received approx. 2 dozen packages over that time and i can say that i have never had a single problem with them-the charges are reasonable and the packages are well packed and dispatched immediately with accurate tracking.
i can recommend them highly and will continue to use their services. Show details

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

They are trying to charge me $120 for a COIN that is less than 0.3lbs to Australia. They hit you with shipping costs that are well above the estimates. Customer service is AWFUL, I have tried to email numerous times and get the exact same automated email from [Name Removed] that doesn't even answer my questions or address my concerns.

A warning

So I am sitting here in tears! They want an account update - yet won’t accept my paypal. Reluctantly hand over my credit card. Jump through two hours of convuluted hoops and now they won’t accept that- need another credit card! Total scam meanwhile a seriously rare item purchased pretty much sits in their so called service centre. Goodby package hello heartache - reviews tell me it’s pretty much gone gone for good as they never get back yo customers! Don’t bother unless all systems go before you even buy anything Show details

Never again

The mailing and forwarding part is brilliant, however it is let down by the actual payment process. My initial credit card was hacked (coincidentally!). Now it is not processing my new card. I now have an overdue account. My husband has tried PayPal and nothing is working. I just want to pay and then cancel the account. I spend over 2 hours on chat/email today and the issue isn't resolved. Unbelievable. Show details

Most incompetent team ever

I emailed this company before making a purchase to verify if I could export an item. They gave me prior approval so I made the purchase and sent it to them. They had full knowledge of what I was purchasing yet when it arrived they changed their minds and denied permission. They told me my options were to have it destroyed or ask the store I bought it from to send them a prepaid shipping label, they wouldn't even have the decency to offer to pay for shipping it back after they made a mistake. Now I could be loosing well over $1000 USD because this company is run by an incompetent team of cowards. Show details

Avoid this company or prepare to be ripped off

I’d give zero stars if I could and I wish I read these reviews before signing up.

My order was from the US to Australia. I had selected Australia post estimated at 55 USD. Expensive but okay.

I get an email saying I’ve been billed $114 USD. The package was less than 2kg. How the heck did the price come out more than double.

Despite not choosing insurance or selecting to pay gst (which isn’t payable for items under $1000 AUD) I was told the additional money was for insurance and GST.

After fighting them on PayPal the refunded me the overcharge of $58USD.

This company is a scam and if I didn’t fight it I would have been ripped off. Avoid at all costs Show details

Deeply disappointed

A true indicator of the core values and service quality of a business is how they respond to problems. After over 10 years using MyUS I have had little issues until the last 18 months the service and response to my requests was breathtaking bad. I have immediately canceled my account and cancel my credit card as they are not responding to fraudulent activity from their site. Show details

Parasites. Watch out for hidden billing

Disgraceful. They used to say it was free but required paypal or linked card. They changed their fee basis and dont tell you and tried to take funds. Just remove paypal and they refuse to close until you pay. Screw them . Typical american scams. They will never get a cent Show details

Don't give honest feedback

Product was cancelled. Refund promptly provided (congrats you get some stars). Inquired twice as to why it was cancelled. Told each time it was cancelled. They asked for feedback on their customer service. I told them what thought—expletives not withheld. They cancelled my account. LMAO. Show details

Terrible - no stars

False advertising of their freight company. Says they ship with a number of freight companies to give you options and price variations only when to go to ship your items from your suite they deceit you and give you one option of fed ex which is the most expensive option. Will never use this company again they are deceitful, dishonest and a complete and utter rip off. STAY CLEAR. Use other companies Show details

Worst app I have used

Totally user unfriendly. I have to call staff frequently due to regular "subs failed" messages when sufficient funds available. You pay a high price for "convenience". Better off using an agency. Show details

Crap service for a rip off price, and all to charge you again

Exorbitant charges, inept administration, and they charge you again for their incompetent; they used to be good (years ago). I now will never use them again. They have lost two shipments in as many months, as they are not providing any paperwork to customs, nor do they provide the correct mailing address. Show details

I was a bit sceptical about their services at first but my first order from them arrived 5 days earlier than their estimated time. Communicating with them was also hassle-free and quick when I asked them to revise the value of my item. I would certainly use their service again. Show details

Overcharged, settings ignored

I recently had a package sent to Australia from the US by MyUS.com. It appears that my settings (i.e. cheapest carrier) had been changed by their system, such that a more expensive carrier of their choice was used. Secondly I had selected option to NOT pay duties and taxes at point of shipping - this was ignored and I was charged GST on goods worth only $70 and shipping costing $300 and insurance (not requested). I would give 0 stars if I could avoid

I would give them 0 if I could. Absolutely useless. Couldn't make the effort to ship a shock absorber that is not a dangerous item. Wouldn't return it to the supplier that is in germany, wouldnt take them out the box and ship the rest of the parts so had to throw out $1000 worth of car parts. Show details
