What does it mean if your application was on nab online than a few days later it’s no longer on it/
Just been offered fixed rate 2 years 3.69 from my current rate 4.29 yet told my repayment won’t change? Why ?
My Loan application was submitted friday and my broker was told 3-4 day turnaround and NAB work weekends, my finance clause expires again in two days, valuation has been done all other docs submitted, my broker just tells me hes still working on it any chance you can contact NAb direct to find out whats going on?
Anyone have any idea how the home loan processing times are for unconditional approval with NAB
How many days will it take NAB to do property valuation for loan approval? We gave a deposit to property and signed the contract with 5 days cooling off period. Its 3 days now and bank has not yet done valuation.Getting worried now. I heard normally banks would take 1-2 days. Has anyone had any bad experience with NAB?
NAB kept me waiting for appraisal and full financial approval to the point where I had to go to another financier and almost lost the property I was interested in. If you want to have a massive, anxious wait, go with NAB. If you want approval and appraisal fast, go elsewhere - I did. All the best.
Thanks for your reply.
Same thing happened to me. Had to get in touch with them daily and remind them about the date,in spite of the situation, they did the property evaluation on last day of the cool off period and asked us to extend the cool off to 1 more day. We got it extended 2 more days from vendor.Even after extension, NAB was unable to finish the full financial approval and we thought we lost the property, finally, at night, we got full approval. It was extremely stressful. NAB should have some consideration for the customers !!
I have a conditional approval on my home loan extension for almost a week now awaiting credit review.
This process has taken almost 4 weeks (given 1 week delay was my fault).
How long should this process take as we are working to an ever closing window of opportunity and really need some answers.
Like most people on here, I have had mostly terrible experiences trying to get answers, it every took over 5 days, promises of a call back multiple times a day (which never eventuated) until finally I got very frustrated and finally got in touch with a broker in "direct customer retention" area. Within a few hours and once paperwork was sorted the property was valued and financials checked and conditional approval granted. Since then nothing for almost a week. I have been back in contact with the broker directly as he is the only human at NAB I can contact, but all he can tell me is that it is with credit awaiting final checking and HOPEFULLY approval.+
How long should this process take?
NAB Pre-approval worths less than the piece of paper they nicely give you. It is subject to credit team assessment, QA assessment, verification team assessment and how many more inner-assessment teams. One team can reverse the entire process to square one, even if ALL other teams approve it. This process can be extremely frustrating. It is a tangling mess. One day you may receive an approval call, but the next day another NAB team may call back to say it needs to be re-reviewed (?!)... If you want to save time and have confidence of what you can afford without fearing of any hiccups to the last minute, choose another bank.
Hi , hi got final approval for a home loan and was told I would get a phone call in 1/2 hr regarding the contract but no call, is this normal?
Hi Tam, if you're promised a call back you should definitely receive one! Not sure what happened sorry but I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, if you contact us on 132265 and speak to a mortgage specialist they should be able to follow up for you ^TC
Hi Tam, Im a bit late in this response but just saw it...This is a very very very usual thing with NAB. I had exactly the same response over a dozen times with them not calling back, and just to see if it was just me I had my wife ring through about other inquiries requesting call back...and what do you know...no call back, not once but on four occasions for her. I have noticed that NAB on here reply respectfully to people making complaints ( Oh im so sorry, Oh that shouldn't happen, please contact us via, please email us via) and so forth, it's just a social media front to appear caring.. However from actual experience I did just that and they were rude and unhelpful. I will not be dealing with them again
