Service is Terrible

All staff at the store I found to be rude both when placing the order and picking up tiles. Also, 2 months after placing order, when I called to ask where my tiles were, the person in Oxley store was very rude. He said they had been there for several weeks, when I asked why I didn't get a call he said "well you should have" with no apologies.

I wouldn't buy from National Tiles again.

Can’t advise on delivery time either morning or afternoon Would not use them again

Need to understand customer requirements on delivery, we are a retired couple and live in a complex and need to hire people to move the tiles we need to know time frame they won’t give any cooperation sadly

Poor customer service. Poor delivery

I ordered the tiles and paid for them 6 weeks before needing them, only to be informed when i attempted to arrange delivery of the tiles id paid for weren't available. when i did finally manage to get my hands on 2/3 of my tiles they were dumped on the footpath and when unwrapped they were packaged so poorly that 2 boxes of tiles fell and broke. just an all round horrible experience.

Low quality travertine

Really disappointed with delivery of Travertine pavers. They are of significantly lower grade than I expected and clearly similar to what are being sold on other online sites as "second grade".
Kicking myself for not spending the extra $20/sq m and purchasing through stone supply specialists.

Administrative nightmare

Long story short is that we waited over 4 weeks for our tiles that were actually never ordered. Stuffing our renovation timeline around.
We ended up sourcing tiles from somewhere else and got a refund

Prices different in country

They advertise one price on-line but instore more expensive and reason stated as surcharge for country stores, would have thought Ballarat wasn't that far from Melbourne, will stick to Bunnings for tiling from now

Overall average experience - considering it was the most expencive purchase I have made in years

Payed cash up front for my flooring. I was told I would see delivery would be in 6 weeks (early Feb)
Then advised it would be the end of feb. Then advised it would be the end of march.
Then in mid march when I cracked it at the manager, my delivery magically appeared within days.
Having now installed the product, I find it looks good but marks easily and feels very plastic and hollow.

Not very accommodating to change delivery

Wanted to collect the tiles early from the store where they were coming from as I was going away and was told the paperwork was done and I couldn’t and the tiles took another 3 days to arrive from a store 5km away

Twice I have purchased tiles from in-store and neither time was I contacted to be advised of the tiles arrival into said store.
I ended up ringing them 3 weeks + after the estimated arrival date. They had arrived earlier but no one bothers to check & advice of arrival.

Service Poor

The sales lady had trouble calculating our square footage needed - nearly under quoted the whole order until we stepped in and corrected her.
Then received a text saying our order was available to pick up. Drove 1hr there only to be told no collections can be made on Sundays.
I start work at 5am and finish after 3pm each day so physically wasn’t able to get there in their collection times (7am-3pm) and I work 9-5 Saturday (also only other collection time)
Would not recommend as we found the same tile in bunnings for the same price. Plus my daughter was disgusted in the children’s play room, she said it was very dirty and small

Poor customer service

Frank from National Tiles should spend less on gimmicky radio adverts and more on staffing his stores. Waited 35 mins at the Warehouse, nobody else in shop, to pick up an order. Rung the bell, rung their phone but nobody appeared. Went thru to warehouse and still got ignored.

This was the first text I had received so even if an opt out option was available you text me at 6 am waking the family
This remains an unauthorised use of my imformation provided to the company for a quote regarding tiles that I never purchased
The appaulling unprofessional manner this company is addressing the issue just highlights the unethical conduct
