Dear Julie, Congratulations on welcoming your new addition to your family. We're very pleased to hear you're considering the Nature's Gift Puppy Meatballs as part of your feeding regime for your puppy.

The growth life stage is perhaps the most nutritionally demanding for your puppy, and there are a few considerations when it comes to feeding such as activity level, breed, the weather and their current body condition as these will ultimately determine how much your puppy requires to thrive. It also depends on what other foods you're providing for your puppy, however if you were to only feed our Nature's Gift Puppy Meatballs, you would need to feed around 600g a day (24 hours). We suggest splitting this across 2-3 meals throughout the day. This amount will change as your puppy grows, and adjust according to the body condition.

Hi Melissa, Our new Nature’s Gift Slow Cooked range of products are formulated to be complete and balanced, so they can be fed as your dog’s sole diet in line with our feeding guide on pack. For a dog weighing 5kg we suggest feeding 1.5 pouches (~330g) per day, which is a similar volume of food to our canned food feeding suggestion for a dog of this size. Our Slow Cooked range can also be used as a topper if you’d prefer to feed a smaller amount alongside other foods in order to make the pack last a bit longer. We hope this information helps! Once the portion is ready for thawing, store it in your fridge to thaw until ready for use. Once fully thawed, do not re-freeze and consume within 24 hours.

Hi lhoward6036, Thank you for getting in touch and for your interest in our Nature's Gift products. Unfortunately, our products have not been specifically formulated for diabetic dogs requiring tailored nutrition, as the ranges nutritional profile is aligned with the AAFCO nutritional standards.

We would strongly suggest speaking to your attending veterinarian prior to trying your diabetic dog on any new diet to ensure it will be suitable for your pets condition. Any change (particularly a significant change) in the carbohydrate levels in the diet of diabetic animals will impact their blood sugar levels and possibly the insulin dose needed to manage this condition.

My vet said my dog can eat any dog food but it needs to be the same morning and night. Diabetic dogs do not need prescription food, they simply need low fat food around 2% on a non dry matter basis and under 12% on a dry matter basis. By providing the fat percentage and the moisture percentage it provides the dry matter basis info we need to do the calculations.

Check ingrediants first. My dog nearly died consuming natures gift. Read ingredients after - biggest mistake iv ever made. I won’t ever go near them again.

My dog has no problem with i think it is beef flavour but she is not aloud to eat raw chicken it makes her sick

Im in the same situation and I am in melbourne ( I have only found the semi moist Kangaroo sometimes)... I even sent them an email and no reply. I buy a different brand now. I have started buying the Ziwi its not cheap but you dont have to use as much... Im sure there are other alternatives similar though. Good luck
