Thin and watery
Thin and watery, not filling at all and tasted like a cup full of artificial sweetener. Will be sticking with herbalife and paying the extra instead of taking the cheaper option.
Purchased in January 2021 at Chemist Warehouse for $10.99.
I dont think its working :(
I bought this halfway through 2020. I tried it out but it doesn’t taste very nice. And i dont think its working honestly. I have 2 shakes a day, and work at bunnings so its alot of sweating and Calories being burned off. But nothing is working. I dont know what else to do to try get it to work. I hate the way my body looks, and im not ever weight or underweight, i just have fat around my waist that i want gone.
Purchased in June 2020 at Coles for $49.99.
I've been using it for 2-3 days now. Honestly NO change. I feel like I'm gaining weight honestly. It tastes fine.
Taste is fine. But it's not helping me lose weight. I wanted to see results but almost halfway of week one and using soy milk. It's terrible. I paid $10 at Woolworth and I'm passed off cause I wasted my money!
Purchased in December 2020 at Woolworths for $10.00.
The shake tastes ok. It is slightly thicker compared to the chocolate optifast shake. So it is a little thicker and a little more filling. It tastes better and is creamier with almond milk. I think its good that it includes pre and pro biotics.
But overall i would say id use this as a second choice to optifast simply because of taste because when i try to lose weight i want to enjoy and look forward to the shake. With fatblaster i see it more as a filler to tie me over if im really struggling with hunger but dont necessarily look forward to drinking it because of the taste isnt as pleasant.

Flavour gross. Doesn't work
The flavour was so disgusting and after using it for a few weeks it did nothing at all. Wish I hadn't spent the money on it as it did nothing.
Purchased in August 2019 at Chemist Warehouse for $50.00.

This product is nothing more than a milk shake. After taking it every lunch and patiently waiting for a month, yes, my weight fell off, however I was starving all afternoon. It does not satisfy or control hunger levels whatsoever. Why torture yourself? I’ve now been eating ALDI low calorie meals and they are both tasty and satisfying, what’s more is that my weight has been falling off at the same level as the shakes. Finally, there’s a product in the US called ‘Slimfast’. The bars guarantee (and do) keep hunger levels at bay for between four and five hours. Don’t waste your time or money with Fatblaster shakes. They are expensive and don’t satiate adequately.
Not worth wasting your time!
Been using it to replace breakfasts & lunches along with calorie counting. Also gym 7 days a week focusing mostly on cardio. Finding my body is shaping up. But that would be gym. No much weight has shifted. Lost about 1-2kgs in 3 weeks.
Doesn't make me full. After about an hour or 2 I'm starving.
The only diet shakes i actually like.
I have always hated diet shakes, fat blaster is the only one I dont mind. Have been doing the rapid weight loss for 4 weeks now and even eating less than what they say which I can easily do as I dont eat a lot anyway although continue to pile on weight regardless. I have not lost 1 gram in 4 weeks so am pretty disappointed. My thyroid has been checked & apparently fine.....quite disheartening.
More information needed
The only way anyone can read these reviews and believe the content written is if they supply their starting weight, age, occupation and lifestyle with it.
Someone who is 140kgs will easily lose 1.5 to 3 kgs a week, at ages up to 40, over 40 its a different deal, similarly anyone over 50 will produce different results, but if your under 30 and 100kgs .... and losing that amount of weight per week it is to be expected as your metabolism will be higher to begin with.
The sugar and carb count doesnt matter if your exercising and eat moderately at about 600 cals for evening meal
or lunch. One meal a day plus the Fat Blaster or Optislim will produce results but there are other factors at play and they need to be on the table to begin with.
to high in sugar and carbs
Fat blaster is to high in sugar and carbohydrates. 30 gram satche .has 27.6 grams sugar and 28.8 grams of carbohydrates.. i think a whey protien powder would be far better
not sure on the taste
i was having the aldi shakes and rapid loss and thought id try the fat blaster as the others are high in sugar but im not sure if im going to like this one i got the choc but it doesnt seem to have any taste to it
I have been taking fat blaster shakes for about 2 months, the last few days I've been feeling incredibly sick a few hours later, today I threw up. Have lost about 2 kgs in 2 months, exercise 1 hour 5-6 days a week. body shape has changed a little bit from exercise. Think i'll give the shakes a rest for a while.
Gained 5kgs since starting these shakes
They do taste nice though and I quite enjoy them, but I cannot explain the sudden weight gain. I work out for 40 minutes a day, 6 days a week and at 5'9" and 75kgs, I'm not overweight. But going from 70kgs to 75 in a couple of months, something is wrong. I've had my thyroid levels checked also and they are normal.
i have had this shake for 2 weeks now and have lost 2.6kg and feel great i feel less hungry and also exercise between it and eat fruit and drink plenty of water i am hoping that i achieve my goal by christmas
Weight loss then weight gain!
I tried it a month or two before I got engaged to prepare for my wedding. I lost a lot of weight and I was so happy. But after a month I started to feel sick! It literally felt like my body was not getting the nutrients it needed.
I experienced bloating on every occasion and lack of energy. I was following the diet to a tea and I had the shakes for breakfast and lunch but with water (not milk).
I started feeling SO hungry and I eventually decided that my body knows best so I went off them. I still ate healthy foods but I started putting ...the weight straight back on. I really did like the results but didn't like the weight gain right after. Inexpensive, quick results, easy to use Bad taste, bloating, stomach aches, lack of energy, weight gain after use
Overall the flavour is great and I was looking forward to drinking it each time. It filled me up and I didn't feel that hungry after I had the shake. I was happy to have a salad if I was still hungry and that seemed to satisfy my hunger pains or I just kept drinking more water.
I have stopped taking it and will probably not take this again, the shakes bloated me up and my insides were screaming out for me to stop taking it. I was so bloated and uncomfortable my stomach was cramping so much from all that air! I found it hard to get my stom...ach back under control. I then substituted mixing the powder with water to see if there was a difference and there wasn't in both taste and it still bloated me up. Even though I was exercising daily and followed the plan exactly as per the instructions I immediately felt bloated and put on 2 kilos which I was not happy about. I am not heavily overweight but my aim was to lose about 10 kilos. I feel much better now that I have stopped using the shakes, I had no choice. I will probably investigate some other option however I am still keeping up with my regular diet and exercise and my weight is now under control. I bought the chocolate flavour and loved it, it tasted just like a thick shake and not not like a protein drink. Even with water it didn't taste any different. I also like the thick consistency. You consume too much milk in one day depending on how much you are planning to drink. I was aiming for 3 per day and it was too much I felt so bloated and uncomfortable. I am probably lactose intolerant so this was like a quadruple dose of milk, the powder is also mixed with milk powder so this was an overdose for my body.
