Pool salt chlorinator for Aussie conditions
I purchased a Neptune pool salt chlorinator NCD35 from pool pro to replace very old one. It’s has the ability to set dual timers, spa/pool settings and winter mode. Requires less salt in pool and keeps chlorine levels right. Starts and stops pool pump automatically. Also measure salt and temperature. Great solid unit that has been working well in winter and now summer. Aussie design which is visible in the quality of the build. Once set it, you can forget it and have less pool work.
Questions & Answers
The chlorinator keeps tripping the power supply. There has been heavy rain recently, so I suspect that is the reason for the tripping. Can you advise what to do please
That does not sound very good. Are you sure its the chlorinator tripping the power and not the pump? ie i have mine set up so it starts the pump when i turns on. I'd plug the pump directly into the power to bypass the chlorinator unit first to see if that trips it, if so its the pump. Otherwise check the power cords and plugs to make sure they are all dry. if it continues perhaps talk to the company you purchased it from. Hope that helps.
Many thanks for your helpful reply, and taking the time to send it. I will try your suggestions and hopefully will find out what is causing the problem
