Nan Comfort 3

My son enjoyed the transition to Nan comfort three.

My son Did have some constipation issues during the transition but I believe that is normal due to change.

I believe this product is very easy to prepare just like any other bottle.

I would recommend this product to any Nan comfort mums

Help meet dietary needs when food consumption isnt meeting needs

Tried my two and a half year old on this as she has gone through a particularly fussy phase recently and would wake up in the night saying she was hungry. If I prepare her a cup of this before bed on the odd occasion she absolutely refuses any dinner I can go to bed myself knowing that she has had some something nutritional and is not too hungry.
She eats a reasonable amount of fibre and water so this did not cause constipation.
I also use other nan products with my three month old and those have suited our family well also. Show details

A marvellous tasty supplement

The child enjoyed this drink same as normal. Nothing startling. Much the same as other formulas.
No side effects at all
No problem preparing the drink. Mixed up well with no lumps.

Toddler didn’t like it at all

My daughter didn’t like this at all, she took a sip, gagged and pushed it away. She is used to drinking plain milk so maybe it was just the shock! Show details

It’s been perfect for after day care!

Toddler has been having EBM since the birth of my second which he LOVES. He didn’t even notice the difference when giving him the toddler drink and has a great nights sleep!
Perfect for after daycare when he’s too tired to eat. Show details

I definitely recommend!

NAN Comfort 4 has become a staple drink for our 2 year old son, it gives him comfort before settling him down for a nap and at night. NAN has always been our go to for powdered milk since our son was born. Show details

Not to my kids taste

I gave this to my twin one year old twins and my three year old also asked for some. Unfortunately, because they are used to drinking water or full cream milk, this product was not to their taste. It was easy to make with clear instructions etc. You can tell that this is a quality product, just not what ,y kids would choose. Show details

This is great! My toddler loves it

My child asks for it instead of normal cows milk. It’s great and it helps my bub go potty. The product is super easy to prepare and I love the new container. Show details

Gave my little one terrible pains

Started using this to top up breastfeeds. After using it for a little while, our son started screaming, had constipation- and then explosive poos. We looked at the ingredients- and we were surprised by the amount of sugar and fillers. We changed brands and almost instantly a much happier baby. Couldn’t believe they would sell a product that has - now that I see the other reviews- upset so many babies. Show details

New ingredient version is poor quality & creates Terrible stomach pains

I switched my son to this after hearing good things about the original ingredient version but after using new ingredients my son is screaming in pain from gas and the formula also doesn’t seem to fill him up. He’s consuming extra bottles to feel satisfied which is concerning. I don’t think this is very good quality formula and wouldn’t recommend the new ingredient version Show details

Hated it!

My newborn had very bad poos and always achy and windy and unsettled at all, plus no matter how many he is fed he seems hungry as if it is not satisfying his needs.
Changed to another formula and all of the above problems disappeared!!!!

I am so worried about this product, I think it shouldn’t be sold. Show details

Horrible Experience

My child had bad poos after using the new formula. And due to that, he got severe rash. DO NOT RECOMMEND at all. The old formula was perfectly awesome. I have switched to another formula and baby is doing fine.  Show details

So, so bad!!!

My baby was so unhappy on this. Scrunching up in pain and crying out. Not sleeping, puffy around the eyes. Awful smelling poos. Many complaints in mothers groups on FB about Nan1. I feel guilty that I gave this to my child. Where was the communication to parents on the tin that the recipe had changed???? Not good enough!!!! These are little lives we need to take care of.

Horrible

Baby was on nan comfort since she was born, no issues at all. Since the recipe change she had diarrhoea for couple of weeks then constipated, so much so she would scream in pain. Don't know why it had to change, just horrible now. Changed to a local South Australian brand and so far going well.  Show details

Very disappointed

Very disappointed with this new formula, rash on chest, diahorea. I realised later that I was forcing my son to drink this formula which was doing him harm. Why change something that didn't need fixing, never had a problem with old formula  Show details

New recipe causes bad rashes

My 3mth old has been on Nan Optipro 1 since with no problems but since the new recipe has come out we went through a couple of weeks of runny poo & tummy pains, so bad they kept waking him up & in the last 3 days terrible face rashes. He had perfect skin until now. Why fix something that wasn't broken Nan?
This stuff is terrible & should be taken off the shelves. Show details

Awful

Used the old recipe with both my first two children. Both going great until switching my 11 month old to the new recipe. Horrible change - unsettled, runny poo and then constipated. Disappointed after such a great run. Will use another brand for bub 3. Show details

Avoid!! Nan Comfort 1 should be recalled!!

Please do not give your baby this horrible and harmful new Nan Comfort formula! It has caused our 4 month old a face rash, rash over the body and runny poos. He was perfectly fine on the old recipe. We perservered thinking it was just eczema but it was 100% the formula. Can’t believe they’re allowed to sell this rubbish! Show details

Something is wrong with the new formula

My 3 month old baby is breastfed 95% of the time. We have been giving one bottle of formula before bed since 6 weeks old to help me get a bit of sleep. We have used Nan Comfort 1 with no issues until we purchased the newly updated formula with new packaging. It gave my baby terrible wind to the point where he was screaming all night. We discontinued use immediately and will change to a different brand.  Show details

New Formula not good

My baby is 6 months old. Started him on nan comfort after 6 weeks old because nan supreme would upset him and give him dark green poo. Switched to nan comfort 1 and it was great. Sleep much better, no constipation. However have transitioned him onto nan comfort 2 with new formulation and it has been a disaster over the past couple weeks. He has been more upset and frequently vomits up the milk multiple times a day. Have just changed formula to aptimal and these issues have disappeared. Won’t buy comfort again. Show details

Formula Fail

My daughter has been on Nan comfort since she was 1 month old, so for the past 12 mths. Since the changes in formula recipe she has become extremely clingy, will have explosive diarrhoea after each bottle, resulting in horrendous nappy rash. The way the change over was handled was very poorly done, no warning about it. My daughter cries and groans in her sleep after having a bottle , which is resulting in a lack of sleep for us all.

I’ll be changing formula’s.  Show details

New recipe is rubbish. Don’t use it! Full of highly processed junk

Used the old Nan Comfort 1 from about 2 weeks for my new baby, no issues. Changed to new recipe and is rubbish - has caused vomiting and upset tummy. Don’t use this, spend your money on formula that has good stuff in it, not rubbish ingredients like the new recipe! So disappointed but happy it’s led me to buying a local, Australian owned and made one.

I’ve tried to hold it out but this new version horrible

Runny poo, bloating, extremely gassy, and even tried 6 month plus which constipated my 6 month old… honestly thought it was teething but now it’s clear it’s the formula..I don’t understand why it’s more expensive its ingredients need to be recalled Show details
