No more

Have used Netregistry for years. Today (21/6/21) anyone on a cloud based email server with them have not been able to send or receive emails for over 9 hours. They have said I can pay to upgrade my email account so it works but won’t move our company emails moved over temporarily so we can operate in the interim while they find a solution for the problem (which no one seems to know what the problem is).

Will be relocating our services.

Update: 30 hours with our company not being g able to send or receive emails and no explanation or ETA on a fix.

Terrific service

The representative dealing with me was very patient and polite. They helped me identify the problem even though I was not completely knowledgeable in what was required given our IT support said to contact the domain service to fix. It was fixed it as quickly as possible and very informative. Show reply

V. Helpful. Normal - not gushy not condescending.. Great to find simple help with someone who communicates without a 'sell'
Calling is preferable to working things out on line however- this does need addressing Show reply

Deleted emails from Server

Netregistry own upgrade of its internal data servers and they deleted over 50% of my emails - no apology - no attempt to restore the emails and months and months of denials and buck passing but not actually even attempting to restore my backups or fix the problem.
NEVER sign up for hosting unless your prepared to lose 50% of your data and be told lies after lies about someone actually working on it and resolving the problem.
Still not fixed and no accountability.

A top notch company indeed

I registered two domains with Netregistry many years ago. Over those years I have been impressed with the level, and quickness, of their support staff. Both websites are now out of service, and I am cancelling the domain names prior to letting them lapse - but should I ever need to register a domain again, I will not hesitate to do so with Netregistry. Show 2 replies

One of the worst companies i've ever worked with

Terrible communication. I don't know how I put up with them for so long. I have instances where my company website was down for over 24 hours in the past and they were incredibly rude and not helpful or empathetic to the urgency of the matter.

Terrible

Very difficulty to remove your credit card details and stop charges from occurring.
If ever you need service always call! Don’t bother using the website. There’ll always be something you’ll get charged for unknowingly.

Assistance with renewing my account

there should be a 0 star option! Stay away from this company

We requested for a domain to be removed from the Office365 portal because they wont provide Global Admin access when linked to their system, that took about 2 weeks to happen. Once that happened they confirmed we should still have access to the Microsoft portal using the .onmicrosoft domain however we don't have access and have sent numerous emails requesting details and cant get a response

no one cares if you have a problem and the staff don't know how to fix it.

Good support

Technical interface is easy to use. Support is responsive although I have only ever had a couple of queries in the several years I've administered my club site. Recently signed up on behalf of my wife's online business and the sales level support was great too. Their rates appear to be competitive - not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Show reply

Great support

John stood by for over an hour while I applied the email settings
We went through both incoming server settings encrypted and unencrypted and again for outgoing email server.
Unfortunately the apple product did not want to except set and correct password
John has left the case open following I can receive the right support from apple

Worst web hosting company in 15 years of hosting

Constant problems with being unable to send email. Tech support clueless. Actually I can understand clueless but the problem is they are poorly trained and constantly hand out nonsensical advise. When I ask for clarification on their advice, my questions are ignored. Oh, and the website regularly times out so when I need to work on it, a 5 minute jobs takes an hour. Will be moving to another host when I find the time.

Transferring my domain out of Netregistry

I am waiting for help from NetRegistry support team It is an old issue submitted years ago an awaiting the expiring of the contract. Now the issue is still on agenda. I am not burning to sell out my domain.

Cant fix problem - Finally Fixed

After accessing customer portal, phone call, live chat and emails for over a month still unable to update my ABN details. I have been sent round in circles and still no success of updating my ABN .
UPDATE ! - After my post I was contacted directly and issue was resolved promptly !

Very Friendly and Helpful staff

My problems were fixed quickly. They are very good and I fully recommend them. My main problem dealt with my website being stated as INSECURE. It stated warning s of do not enter and the person I was chatting with quickly solved the problem.

we have been emailing calling with no outcome after paying the invoice and being advised my buisness email would be up and running in 2hrs that was 2 days ago absoutly disgraceful company do not reccomend

I supplied personal details, website and account details to begin the chat.
Then waited over 5 minutes before I got a response, having detailed the issue.
The first question was: what is your account number?
Why? When I had already provided it.

3 Times had issues in the last month

Emails and Website have stopped working in the last month. I previously provided a good review due to the fast turnaround last time I had an issue. Turnaround is now much slower. I will loose customers and support.

fast service and cheap hosting packages

I was having trouble with my website. I clicked on the customer help popup window and was given expert help immediately. I've been able to get help at any time 24/7 which is great. Having to wait for help can be very frustrating but with net registry it was never a problem Show 2 replies
