Worst Customer Service Ever!

I paid for migration to office 365 from their own C-Panel in November 2020. We are now nearly 5 months later, and Im still yet to get what I paid for. Ive spent countless hours on the phone, I've asked to speak to someone in senior management many times. Never anyone available, always told someone will call me back. NEVER happens, been told its now been escalated nearly every time I call, and I repeat the process over and over.

User friendly and so easy to deal with

Netregistry are just so easy to deal with which is important to me. I run a retail business so I don't have time to spend answering questions or trying to work out things online. I just need to be able to pick up the phone and get my queries sorted. Netregistry does that and that's why I like them. Show reply

Awesome Service

I have been a client of Netregistry for about 15 years. Their service is amazing, you can get support 24/7 and they are super helpful and polite. When I moved to NZ from Australia I kept using them as they had the better support than anyone here. Highly recommend for general awesomeness.  Show reply

So easy to work with

Changing over our Website Hosting easily makes a huge difference. Ive only needed to call twice, once to ask questions about their service and one to resolve a start up issue. Both times I spoke with a real person who were knowledgeable and sorted everything. Really happy with the outcome each time. Show reply

Netregistry- Underhanded and dishonest conduct

Uses very underhanded tactics to upsell you to a higher value product from a previous product that they no longer supported. When asked to substantiate their actions and reasonings they simply roll out the "We emailed you and you didn't respond". Yes, your email clearly stated my subscription would renew automatically, they didn't ask me to respond. Next email was to say we have cancelled your subscription, because of non payment. Problem is they billed me for another service under the same account, on the same card and on the same day- no problems- why not this one?

Excellent response to service error

Hitherto have been happy with service. Last week I was billed 24 hours early for a renewal I was preparing to cancel. Lodged a ticket with Customer Support and after 3 days a refund was processed for me.

Been paying for a Microsoft account for 12months that was never provisioned

Paying for a service for over 12 months to find out that the Microsoft account was never provisioned from day 1. While recognising this was a mistake and this happens I asked for a refund since the account was never provisioned. Only to be told we don't have a department that can help you with refunds!

Greatly Improved

I have been with this organisation - in its various guises - for in excess of 20 years. While the product itself has been broadly satisfactory, I have in the past experienced a great deal of indifference from customer service. I have been given wrong information. I have been treated in a very high handed manner and addressed as if I was a moron. I have experienced very much extended wait times on the phone and slightly lesser times with online chat. But my last 2 experiences (in 2020 and today) have been more than satisfactory. I have encountered a genuine concern and level of politeness unknown previously. And very prompt answering of call and action. Keep it up! Show reply

Customer service is really terrible

There products are reasonably priced and really helpful before payments has been made.
Then their sales department don't give correct information just say what is required for a sale. And then it takes 10 days to get a refund for bad information.
Customer service / issues with the service take a long time to sort out. Current I'm at 3 months and still no resolve in site.

Charge customer ahead of their notified date

Netregistry charged our web name renewal before the date they notified us they will charge, and refused to refund since we want to cancel the internet name registration. Also why they auto charge customers more than one month before the internet name registration expires ?

Follow up on 2/3/2021:
Hannah from netregistry contacted me & eventually refunded the $46 domain name renewal fee they charged ahead of the notified date which is good, so they are not that unprofessional as I initially thought.

There seems to be a systemic inability by technical people to quickly read the nature of a problem and guide the poor punter through it. Too many attempts to resolve issues, which appeared to be trail and error, and hence wasting a lot of my time.

I have been severely effect by email cutting in and out

Our office relies on emails to function and over the past few months it has dropped out for days, I have been online and received bad support and another full day of not being able to send emails. Our clients are being let down because of our email issues.

Effectiveness of service

The service is uncomplicated and most effective. It's also useful to have a series of reminders about the due date for renewal.
When the transaction is being performed records are sourced quickly and there's no stress to the customer therefore. Show reply

Will Not Cancel Fraudulent Domain Names From My Account

I found on 02/02 that 3 domain names were registered to my account. I did not order these. NETREGISTRY refuse to cancel these - changing rules each time I speak to them. I don't really care about the $150 it has cost me, I just want these domain names removed from my account!

Unbelievably (build it for you) bad service, slow 14 weeks basic website and still didn't finish, still charged me

Chose to spend $100 per month on web design (do it for you) and hosting, unfortunately they never did it for me, a promised 2 weeks turned into 14 weeks and possibly longer because i stopped the whole process in the end, due to no fault of my own! They were still charging me for a service i was not recieving, they even charged me for a month after I wanted out. Incredibly poor service, in the end I built my website that I am happy with through Wix in less than a day. Please don't use Netregistry!!

Extremely poor service, constant lies from support team about communication and the illegal and misleading payment actions of Netregistry. Purchased Domain Privacy, this was automatically set to auto renew, there is no ability to turn this off in the portal. When purchasing this product there is no mention of this and the term and conditions do not state this either.

Poor Service with no follow-up resolution

A relatively easy problem that has not been resolved or followed up by Net Registry. All I wanted was Extra One drive Storage! - how hard is that? Net Registry were happy to take the money for the upgrade but have not delivered!! - this issue has clearly been put in the "Too Hard" box. followed up by " someone will get back to you" statements that did not materialized - Very Frustrating and Disappointing

Avoid at all costs

Terrible service. Terrible knowledge. Don't follow up existing service requests. Can't even setup Office 365 consistantly across 2 accounts.
There are WAY better companies to choose from.
I am looking at switching across to siteground or godaddy.

Hopeless support

My emails suddenly stopped four days ago. Called Netregistry call-centre 5 times. Advised it was being "escalated" but follow-up calls by me merely confirmed Netregistry were doing absolutely nothing. Indeed, the promised calls to update me never eventuated. Worst customer experience I've had in many years.

SO BAD! Dont use them

I run a business and in the last 14 months I have endured the following - website offline for 2 weeks, 2mails lost on at least 3 occassions. Their responses are so slow and never address the financial burden these incidents put on my business. Please do not use this provider - at all>
