works ok
aids in control of psoriasis of the scalp but doesn't get it under control. If used regularly it does help somewhat. The only thing is it has a terrible smell.

Practical vs Fancy.
"Beauty is pain". If you've heard this statement you might understand. Growing up I had to use T Gel for years as it was the only thing that would stop my psoriasis. Once I started getting my hair dyed blonde, though, the T Gel would turn my hair orange. I wouldn't recommend this for people with blonde hair, but if you have psoriasis this eases the pain and the psoriasis will almost disappear. (I'm pretty sure they use to do a shampoo/conditioner combined & liquid was white.)

OK
It seems that often with shampoos that are effective in treating scalp problems, do so with a cost. I have blonde hair and I found that when using Neutrogena T/gel shampoo my itchy scalp disappeared but I was left with horrible dry hair that had a slightly yellowy tinge. The next time I use it I will probably try to alternate the T/gel shampoo with my regular shampoo to lesson the damage to my hair and to mask the hor...
Read morerible smell of the shampoo. Neutrogena T/gel is quite expensive and to my knowledge only comes in a small bottle. However, if you suffer from an itchy flaky scalp its definitely worth a try. It is a shampoo that actually works to treat a problem scalp. Has a horrible smell and not good for blonde hair.Find out how Neutrogena T/Gel compares to other Shampoos & Conditioners

OK
i purchased this product after contemplating as i had tryed several other products . I thought it would cure the itch for good i am still using it so I guess its ok. It does have a distinctive smell, but i find it to be not so irritating. worth a try.
Stops the itching for a short while. Concerntrated product so you only need to use a small amount. It lathers up quite well. It does cure the problem immediately.
Thought it would cure the problem longer. Short term fix. Makes my scalp feel a little tender and red after washing. Of course the price is high.
