Hideous Fraudulent Retailers
Disgusting, filthy company. Do not purchase any sensitive components from them. Most IT companies have what one calls an Open Box sale, and Newegg does too. This didn't stop them from sending an open box component, which is an issue when one pays full price for a new item which could have suffered from ESD or any range of overclocking issues from the previous owner. r the cost of the component, leaving me $50 out of pocket because of their own desire to ship a second hand good. When I raised this issue they had the guts to say that after second review of the images it had not previously been opened and that they would now charge a restocking fee and that they believed it was because of change of mind. I reiterated that my preference from the beginning was that the product be replaced, and the discussion just went around in circles from there. Many emails went back and forth between myself and many of their staff, each claiming ignorance because the previous one said something. From the language it was obvious that I was dealing with only two or three individuals changing their names to make life more difficult. Support was absolutely foul, abusive, crude, and intentionally took digs. Absolute worst company ever.
