Worst service, can't even give 1 star!
I recently purchased a TV cabinet from Rutherford store NSW. The Store Manager just phoned me to tell me they need to deliver it right now, but unfortunately I am not home and I am at work. He gave me zero notice! He also has advised me that the only day that delivery can occur is a Tuesday, in which I work. So I now have to take an annual leave day (1 of the only 2 days a week I work) to stay at home to receive a TV cabinet! Also in which I get an hours notice? I seriously think their policies and procedures should be reviewed in regards to se...rvice and delivery. I was advised that the floor stock I was purchasing would have to be sent back to Sydney before it would be delivered back up here and then delivered out to us. Why this would be done, makes no sense to me. I would not recommend Nick Scali to anybody! I also did not find the Store Manager sympathetic, nor apologetic!
One of my chairs broke, was over the warranty time but Nic Scali was so easy to deal with and had someone come to our home to fix it at no cost to us. Best follow up service I’ve ever encountered. Nic was very polite and friendly, chatted to our grandson and took the rubbishy away.
We will definitely shop at Nic Scali again
Great lounges not so good mechanism
The store was easy to get around with a large display of beautiful furniture. We love our leather couches they are so comfy. We had a few issues with them and all but one was able to be fixed. That was the mechanism didn't lift the footrests up on the recliners as high as the display model in the store. We really liked the store height as that was one of the major selling points for us. We were told by the repair technician that it couldn't be changed. Our repair technician Frank was very courteous and carried out the other repairs in a professional way.
Love our lounge
We were happy with the store and service. Delivery time was lengthy and went over. The Lombard financing caused problems upon delivery which could have been avoided. The delivery guys scratched our floor when installing the lounge, but they were quick and efficient. We live our lounge how ever a seat stopped functioning after a week and then took 3 weeks to have someone look at it.
The technician who came to repair our lounge was knowledgeable and professional. He was able to fix the problem quickly and offered solutions for other problems we had. He laid down blankets to protect our floor and lounge and cleaned the area before leaving.
Recently bought a white leather (we hope) two seater recliner lounge , had it delivered Sept 18,2018,. When the delivery men got here , they assembled it alright, but when putting it in the right area of the room, they left a black mark on my wall. Not being a fusspot, I could see that I could remove the mark pretty easy, but then found another mark on one of the seats. When I pointed this out, one of the blokes said that I could remove the mark with the leather upholstery kit that came with the lounge. I thought to myself, no, I shouldn't have...to remove any marks. When the delivery blokes left, I found yet another black mark on the lounge. Now I was bloody cranky. When I went outside to pick up the mess of cardboard boxes they generously leave for their customers to deal with,I found my recently top dressed lawn had a number of gouges in it , because they had wheeled there trolley across my lawn, instead of leaving it on the driveway, just a metre away. Contacting their customer service the next day, and then the Rutherford store we bought it from, they said it was between us and the delivery people to sort it out. NO apology , nothing.DON'T SHOP WITH Nick Scali. Never again for us!!!

Carlos - technician
The original sales person did not have full product knowledge and did not represent professionally. However, when we returned to the store having done our own homework we proceeded with the purchase with another sales person.
The installers put the lounge together incorrectly to the configuration we had ordered. Disappointly we had to wait 15 days for a technician to come to our home.
Having said that, Carlos the technician was professional, curteous and presented Nick Scali Furniture well. I wish we had have had him from the start of the purchase.
Great after sales service!
We purchased a leather recliner which we're very happy with. Unfortunately, within 24hrs upon receiving it, one of the recliner's motor was not functioning. Without any problems,Carlos came to replace the motor free of charge.Carlos was very friendly and professional, honest and reliable. He worked quickly and our recliner is working now, thank you!

Carlo rang before coming was on time and took his time to explain things.was good at his jpb.Took time to explain why lounge was not comfortable like in the show room. Advised wait 2 more months to settle and loosen up.
My recliner wasn’t closing properly but it was an easy fix, nick the technician gave me some helpful advice, happy with his service.

In store purchase, great friendly staff there, the customer service for warranty however was quite different, not happy with the service there but once the right outcome was reached the technician was amazing and the opposite again being very helpful. Unfortunately the thought of dealing with the warranty staff would deter the further purchases I had planned.
Purchased the lounge in store. The staff were great the only down side is the time frame fir the product.
Very happy with the service. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Carlos has fixed the issues and satisfied my concerns and I was very pleased with the service.

The lifetime frame warranty has benefited us for this reason.
