Poor experience at the MacGregor store
We came into the MacGregor store today (22/11/2020) to look at dining and living room furniture.
There were two items being advertised as floor stock that had minor blemishes/marks that were being sold at 30% below the new price, on a tag that was printed displaying these as 'Black November' deals.
When we asked a salesperson about these floor models, we were told that they are not available to take home today, and that they would not be available until the last new warehouse stock for each item had been sold, which we were told may be up to...6 months away. There was nothing on the sale tags to indicate that this was the scheme - buy now and wait and see what the condition of that display model is when you receive it months down the track. It's a bit disappointing that a company would try to sell off floor stock by advertising it in store before they are genuinely ready to sell those items. Especially since with display models there could be significant wear and tear done to it while it remains on the showroom floor. We walked straight out of the store and into a competitor's to buy our furniture. I'm glad we were given an upfront idea about how Nick Scali conducts their business before handing over any money. I think this is some feedback their management/leadership really need to take on-board.
Great in store service but horrible after sales online customer care
We ordered a Zayden couch from your store after weeks of deliberating 2 months ago. We were assure a 9-11 week delivery (late Oct delivery at max). Your customer service had assured a call at 6 weeks mark but no calls yet, online customer service has no clue and the order still says “In manufacturing”. Considering Covid and the 2 week delay you guys have been talking about in the media, this should have been “in transit “ by now. Average shipping from China/ Vietnam is roughly a month so by that numbers if it were to be posted today, it’s going...to be in your warehouse by mid nov and ready for delivery about a week later. That’s more than 4 weeks’s delay. Quite dissapointed at the lack of comms. That’s not how you treat customers especially after putting in money in advance.

Do customers matter?
Not to Nick Scali I presume. I've a coffee table that had a warp straight out of the box and subsequently a 5mm crack developed right across the middle of the table. More details in my earlier post. The service manager rejected my claim as I didn't do something earlier, apparently by me leaving the warp unattended had caused the crack in the timber. Well I didn't put the warp there. What annoyed me was that she didn't provide any logical explanation as to what I could have done or how they could have fixed it. She then closed the service call w...ithout a satisfactory solution. Well that's convenient. It was a total waste of time and money. I'll be happy if this posting can convince just one customer to stand by fellow customer and purchase elsewhere. Otherwise reading and writing product reviews would have been pointless. Thank you fellow customer.

Three years ago we went to Nick Scali to purchase a top quality couch to compliment our new home. We found the perfect couch for us and purchased it for around $3000. A huge outlay but one we felt comfortable in doing as we were buying 100% leather and wanted it to last. How wrong we were!
Fast forward 3 years and our 100% leather couch is peeling. We called the store to discuss this with them and they sent a "leather expert" out to assess the damage. He came into our house and did some tests and I asked him several times whether it was our f...ault or not as I had cleaned it on occasions when it looked like it need it but it was always kept clean so it wasn't something I did every month. He said no it looks like the leather is failing so I will do my report and send it to Nick Scali and they can get back in touch. A week went by and I received a call from Nick Scali saying the report was in and it was all our fault as we have neglected to maintain the "monthly" cleaning of the leather. This "expert" completely threw us under the bus and made up several lies in the report. He wrote the complete opposite of what he told us and lied. I know because the Nick Scali representative sent it to me to read! It was full of exclamation points like "the owner was very guarded!" and "The leather has deep in ground dirt!" and "The customer has a Nick Scali leather care kit, the technician opened the box and it’s never been used, all contents unopened and unused". Absolute lies and untrue. I honestly can't believe they sent it to me as it's so unprofessional. It was written as an internal B2B document and definitely wasn't mean for the customer to read! Now please bare in mind this is a 3 seater, huge couch that is covered in leather. If I had known I had to clean and protect this couch every month, I would never, ever had bought it. I gave away to my mother a perfectly good leather couch that was over 10 years old and had no sign of wear whatsoever and NEVER needed the nonsense maintenance this super expensive couch apparently does. See they don't teach you nor do they express the vital importance of the monthly cleaning regime these 100% leather couches require. No they sell you the couch and the protection pack, as an add on mind you, and say read the book it'll tell you what to do. So after copping this report on the chin I set out to seek my own report on the supposed 100% leather couch only to find that every leather "expert" works for Nick Scali and all were afraid to get involved as they'd had bad experiences in the past. This was their words! Left with no options left I asked to speak with a manager...

Was not told on the day of order we had to pay CASH to our delivery guy. Made it sound like delivery was included with our $4200 lounge. Ridiculous. Rude staff too. Delivery guys were polite but also leave behind the huge boxes for you to discard which is just poor service really. Dont recommend. Go to Plush or somewhere else.

Very happy with entire experience
The store was large and set out well. Easy to compare different styles. Prices were good as it was Sale time. Lawrence was attentive without being pushy. He was a pleasure to do business with. This was my first time at Nick Scali but it won't be my last.
Perfect couch for our lounge room
Great service from Mark at Macgregor store, walked us through the entire showroom looking for a couch to suit all our other new furniture. No pressure at all and was very patient with us while we were deciding between 2 items
Service is exceptional in this store
Product is great. Show room floor was easy to navigate. Great price with current sale and organizing it all was easy. Sanjay was very helpful and accommodating with our requirements for our purchase.
Awesome Furniture and Great Customer Service Nickscali Macgregor
We checked a few furniture stores before we popped into Nickscali Macgregor to checkout their lounge range. Georgia in Macgregor store who served us was super friendly and we had an amazing customer service. We had our options open and didn’t walk in to make a purchase. Georgia wasn’t pushy but has an excellent interior decoration knowledge which made our decisions easier. We showed Georgia our living room photos and she paid attention to detail to every corner and walked us through the range they had in store. Btw I’m tall but my wife is a bit...shorter than me but Georgia helped us find a lounge that suited comfortably for us both and also that look elegant in our living room. Every single person who walked into our living room has complimented the looks and comfort of our new lounge (Dex) and the Coffee table (Peru). We are happy with our purchase and loving it and very much pleased with Georgia’s customer service. We have now ordered more furniture (Karma Range) and looking to buy more to complete our rooms. Lawrence had good product knowledge and was very patient while I made my decision on which lounge to purchase from the large range of lounges on display.
Great customer service
I went to a lot of stores looking for just the right accent chair. The best quality and fabric section l found at Nick Scali. Mark at the McGregor Store helped me select the most comfortable chair and the best colour fabric to suit my decor.
Awesome price for top quality lounge, the fabric, the design everything I Love it! And on top of that I've just experience the best customer service ever, the staff was very friendly and very experienced.
It was easy to navigate the products at the MacGregor store with the help from Adon. He helped us with the selection of the lounge and fabric we needed. I totally recommend Adon to anyone looking for a lounge

If anyone is considering buying furniture, I 100% recommend this store. The furniture is good quality and with current sales it was affordable. I loved the real timber furniture and helpful sales person.
