Cheap knock off
We bought a lounge. When it showed up 2 months later it was a cheap nasty knock off of the one on display in the showroom room. They gave us the run around for 2 stressful months. Only to be told they aren't going to do anything. No integrity. No quality. Deceptive
Product was delivered a month late, there are serious defects of which Nick Scali are fully aware and yet they wont replace or refund. Now forced into taking legal action.
Disappointment from our Emmie modular.
Disappointment from our Emmie modular. 3 months after purchase the modular had a gaping hole in the stitching which took 3 visits to fix not to mention the pilling. Also had to have the legs fixed with washers to make it level. We bought the cleaning treatment product but the stains remain even after having it professionally cleaned. By stains I mean normal dirt wear from leg cushions not accidental stains. The back cushions are all slouching and sunken and don't regain there normal shape. The stitching and leveling was fixed. We paid extra for the after service and are unsatisfied with it. Don't bother with this company.
Cracks in dining table
Dining table (Kuiso) purchased three years ago for $995 has developed pronounced cracks at three corners. Sought redress from store where purchased (Sunshine Coast) but follow up calls came from Sydney. Rep had poor knowledge of Australian consumer law and statutory guarantees. I was offered $150 in-store credit. In other words, I would have to purchase another product. Head office rep was disingenuous eg, "I think it is reasonable that a dining table should last only three years.“ I have no gripes with the sales staff but am very disappointed by the Nick Scali head office response to my request for replacement, repair or refund for a faulty table.

Three years ago we went to Nick Scali to purchase a top quality couch to compliment our new home. We found the perfect couch for us and purchased it for around $3000. A huge outlay but one we felt comfortable in doing as we were buying 100% leather and wanted it to last. How wrong we were!
Fast forward 3 years and our 100% leather couch is peeling. We called the store to discuss this with them and they sent a "leather expert" out to assess the damage. He came into our house and did some tests and I asked him several times whether it was our f...ault or not as I had cleaned it on occasions when it looked like it need it but it was always kept clean so it wasn't something I did every month. He said no it looks like the leather is failing so I will do my report and send it to Nick Scali and they can get back in touch. A week went by and I received a call from Nick Scali saying the report was in and it was all our fault as we have neglected to maintain the "monthly" cleaning of the leather. This "expert" completely threw us under the bus and made up several lies in the report. He wrote the complete opposite of what he told us and lied. I know because the Nick Scali representative sent it to me to read! It was full of exclamation points like "the owner was very guarded!" and "The leather has deep in ground dirt!" and "The customer has a Nick Scali leather care kit, the technician opened the box and it’s never been used, all contents unopened and unused". Absolute lies and untrue. I honestly can't believe they sent it to me as it's so unprofessional. It was written as an internal B2B document and definitely wasn't mean for the customer to read! Now please bare in mind this is a 3 seater, huge couch that is covered in leather. If I had known I had to clean and protect this couch every month, I would never, ever had bought it. I gave away to my mother a perfectly good leather couch that was over 10 years old and had no sign of wear whatsoever and NEVER needed the nonsense maintenance this super expensive couch apparently does. See they don't teach you nor do they express the vital importance of the monthly cleaning regime these 100% leather couches require. No they sell you the couch and the protection pack, as an add on mind you, and say read the book it'll tell you what to do. So after copping this report on the chin I set out to seek my own report on the supposed 100% leather couch only to find that every leather "expert" works for Nick Scali and all were afraid to get involved as they'd had bad experiences in the past. This was their words! Left with no options left I asked to speak with a manager...
The minute the paper work is signed its an automatic $45 donation to the store. I purchased and paid in full for a console table. (Nothing wrong with the table except that it was bigger than what I had space for).
Salesperson told me, on more than one occasion, "I had a 3-day cooling off period" no mention that it would cost $45. But alas, it was in the contract I signed! If I waited more than 3 days, I would have lost the full purchase price $490-00 - because that was also in the contract.

Exceptional 5 Star Customer Service
Rick from Nick Scali - Robina, customer care was simply sensational from the first time Robyne and I met him, his after sales support was exceptional and provided us a perfect solution when will had a brand new faulty lounge delivery. Our mum also purchased a new lounge from Rick last year and recommended us to him. Thanks Rick!
Oops! Someone in store forgot to tell me the sofas I purchased, the foot rest will not extend on carpet!
Foot rest will not extend without catching or retract fully due to insufficient clearance on carpet. Ram dislodges, buttons stop working, foot rest falls off. But it is not a faulty of their product I am told, it is my carpets fault! One technician tells me I need packers, 2nd technician tells me this lounge will not take packers. Too bad so sad , case closed! Ha ha so you think!

Service! What service! ??????
Purchased 2 sofas for our carpeted lounge. The foot rest catches on the carpet as it extends./retracts with or without a person sitting on lounge. When sitting on the lounge you are unable to extend/return the foot rest without scraping as with the weight of a person there is insufficient clearance. Due to insufficient clearance the ram inside ceased working correctly as well as the buttons. Foot rest falls off. . Technician came out and wound two of the centre legs down but this gave a high region on the centre of the lounge and still low on o...utside legs. This making in uneven to sit on. I was told another technician would attend with packers. The lounge needs to be raised around 25mm to clear the carpet. The next technician arrived telling me this lounge will not take packers, I need to relocate my sofas to another room or remove my carpet. I explained you cannot sit on the lounge due to it being so uneven, no one had told me this sofa was for hard floors only as Instore they are on rugs. Technician advised not their fault its our fault for putting the lounge on carpet . He advised I didnt know what I was talking about asking for packers! I explained your staff called me telling that is what we need. I subsequently then get another call to book a service call for packers again to be put on. Once again I advised your technician told me packers do not go on this lounge. I then get told go to Bunnings and buy pads to go under the legs, but these do not raise the couch sufficiently. We have items under the legs. Today after 7 weeks we get another call advising Nick Scali is not responsible that the foot rest will not work this is not a manufacturing problem, it is our problem for having the lounge on Carpet, again put the lounge on a hard floor! Having purchased previously a buffet that was delivered with a large area on top that was faulty and filled with bog, that needed to be replaced. Not to mention 2 other sofas that were first lost and did not get delivered, then arrived and needed two technician visits and also deemed defective. Not impressed that we have again been sold a lemon. Third time not lucky! If your sofas are not suitable for use on carpet it would be expected that this be advised.
This was a re-selection. Product will only arrive in 10 - 12 weeks. The previous product was not of the best quality. Fortunately a re-selection was offered. Geri was extremely helpful and the process of the re-selection was made seemless.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible customer service! The lady I spoke to was very rude with awful manners. She treated me with no respect. I ordered a coffee table and it came with scratches/marks. I wanted to return or swap it with a better quality table but the lady said no, we will not accept that. How can people treat other people like this. Not happy. Will never buy from there again!
Low quality, Bad customer service
They use recycled low quality timber with no warranty, bad customer service.on pick up got the signature for delivery but lateral when I noticed damage, they referred to my sign on delivery passer.
Faulty tables - they dont care
Had a terrible experience, had 2 tries and got faulty tables both times, then they balked at a refund even though the tables were brand new. They just dont care

I ordered a table, 5 days for delivery and the last "NEW" one from the warehouse. I was told I would need to dispose of packaging.
It arrives, Not in a box, but movers blankets... It has a drink ring and a damage patch including a gouge in it. I refused to accept it and it was loaded back on the delivery truck.
I rang the store, and I first get told a service technician needs to come out, as its their process... for what... I DONT HAVE A TABLE! I was then told, we've marked the one in store one with sold, (so another USED table), But the...y dont know when I can have it as it will take 2-3 weeks to be allocated to me as its their process.... ?? You dont have anymore to sell otherwise you'd send me another from the warehouse, so why would you need this on the floor?.. after I have said this doesn't suit me, and I had asked when purchasing how long it would take, I asked for a refund.... well the Store wont refund me as ready for it, its their process.. The Store manager refuses to ring me as he is on a day off, but his offer to ring me Saturday means I will get told I will need to sort it out Monday as a Business day (we are all familiar with that).. We have a perfectly good business day here on a Friday, but it seems that doesn't matter, or the time they have mucked me around delivering a USED and damaged table when I bought a NEW one.. Ive contacted Nick Scali Corporate and NO manager will return my call... leaving their poor minions to listen to my fury and frustration, and explain how many consumer laws they are breaking..... Pretty sure even if I get this table in 2021, im going to hate looking at the thing.... looks like i just have to kiss my money goodbye... dont risk it people.. They are terrible, and have forgotten the purpose of their business to exchange Money for Goods.
Expensive leather lounge made in china
Wouldn't buy a lounge off u again paid a huge amount of $$ to find out it was made in china wrong lounge was delivered have to wait another 9 weeks and more $$ owing as u don't have the lounge I ordered and no refund was an option $$s badly spent lounge was faulty also
Unfortunately we have received terrible customer service when we received a damaged item from Nick Scali. We spent a fortune on a new TV unit to only find the timber was damaged once the box was open. We submitted our concerns to Nick Scali only to be told we were expected to open the box and fully remove the item whilst at the store to inspect it, then re-package the box once we were satisfied (we were never told this was an expectation when we bought the items). We were told by the manager the damage was our fault for not spending the extra $...90 (per item) for delivery. We were told the damage was caused by us - despite us being extremely careful with our new expensive item. Next time we buy from Nick Scali we will be making the ridiculous request to have the workers fully remove and re-package our items for us before we are happy to take them home.

I purchased several items, but the Anja glass dining table is really poor, cheap quality. It lasted 90 days before starting to split at the base. I could flick off the cheap laminate with my finger nail. NS replaced it and I have just noticed now, just 12 months later,it is splitting at the top of the same table leg. Avoid at all costs
Purchased two leatger loumges October 2018, delivered Jan 2019, damage to both leather and timber tables.
Literally like a circus trying to get resolved, leather people booking three appointments and not showing up, nick scali direct booking different appointments and not informing contractors, fast fwd to June 2019, finally had someone come to fix the shipping marks on the leather but no different. Just given up now, you win Nick Scali, i cant go through more months of incompetence.
If your kucjy enough to get a lounge with no damage, im sure its fine. If like us you get shipping marks and damaged trays, you are jn for the ride of ypur life, incomprehensible that such poor organisation could exist.
Leather sofa poor quality, customer service worse
We purchased a leather sofa that we love, and an extended warranty in case of bother.
2 holes appeared and we reported this. Despite a number of calls and visits over a number of years, this was never fixed satisfactorily.
The leather also ‘cracked’ and this was blamed on poor maintenance.
They offered us a $400 discount on another sofa which to me admits fault.
I will never purchase from them again and suggest no-one else does until their customer service and leather suppliers improve
