A+++ Nick Scali Essendon DFO THANK YOU!!! Best Service at a great price
We are about to move into our newly built home and popped into Nick Scali for a quick look. We weren't really expecting much but after looking around, found a few items that we loved. Anthony came over to give us a hand and we can't thank him enough for his patience, styling tips, furnishing ideas, and his honesty. We ended up purchasing a dining table, chairs, sofa, sofa bed and TV cabinet. We highly recommend Essendon DFO store and especially Anthony!

From entering the store to the delivery of furniture home was an extremely pleasant experience. The staff Amlan was very helpful and pleasing to deal with, he had a solid intellect of his work and it all worked well. Highly recommended this store. Thank you for your help greatly appreciated

Visited many stores before we found our couch in nick scarli .. many couches very similar but comfort levels so much different from store to store ... This store was our last visit for the day and quite surprised that we eventually found what we wanted.. store delivery time for most was 12 .. 16 weeks this store 9..10 .

I purchased the Zayden lounge from Nick Scali Essendon. Staff at point of sale were great. I waited almost 3 months to receive it and was very happy - for approx 1 week. The lounge has developed "dents" x 4 along the seams - 2 seams, 2 dents each. Customer service from this point was disgusting - they told me these dents were "normal" and a feature of the lounge - I don't expect "features" like this - and it was justified by saying they are shown in the picture online. This is great is you are shopping online however the dents were NOT in ...their showroom piece although they insist they were. They are so obvious you couldn't help but notice them. No mention made at point of sale of these dents and they only appeared a week AFTER delivery. I will NEVER EVER purchase from Nick Scali again - to spend so much money on a lounge that has such obvious faults in unacceptable. My only point of recourse now is to take them to vcat. I might also mention that the customer service rep told me they were present at point of delivery - given she was not present at this point I fail to see how she can insist on such a point! After leaving a negative review on their facebook page I was contacted by a customer service rep who was terrible at replying. They have a lot to learn about quality and customer service.
Where is good old Fasion Customer Service/Understanding?
It all started out well with the salesperson in the Essendon store who was great to deal with but that is when everything went down hill from there. We ordered 2 couches valued at $4K in late December for our new house build that we were expecting to move into in March. Unfortunately our house build has been delayed which was beyond our control. I went to the Essendon store to explain my situation and made full payment on the couch but they said you need to ring the warehouse not our problem, so basically once they have your money they don't wa...nt to know you. I rang Customer Service number to explain to them the situation we had and they could not careless, they have a 21 days holding policy and are so rude how this is explained. There solution Oh well you will need to arrange storage, which I asked when I get the furniture to the new house would they at least come back and assemble the couch, to that it was a fat no. I have furniture on hold with 3 other furniture companies who had no issue holding onto our furniture until required. Nick Scali need to take a leaf out of their competitors and have understanding in situations like this. I had the furniture delivered to my current house on Tuesday 7/5 in which I needed to move things around in order for the 2 couches being delivered to fit in the house and as you would understand that when you are in the middle of packing it does not help. I will not set foot or would I ever recommend Nick Scali to anyone. Buyer beware, they are best friends until they have your money after that could not careless.
I have just had the worst customer service
We waited 12 weeks for a 3.5 seater and our 2.5 seater sofa to arrive and when it came one of them was in the wrong colour, after my wife got a complete run around to nowhere, today we wrote to customer service and the head manager of the company, we were told that somebody will get straight back to us and sort this out, whatever, Wednesday night (24th April 2019) we have still not had a call back or heard from anybody that gives a S...
If Nick Scali spend as much money on customer service training as they do on TV ads, OMG what a company it could be.
Poor customer service!
I am so disappointed with Nick Scali customer service. They delivered my furniture after 3 months and faulty! The delivery guys told us will raise the issues to the customer service but they didn't! After my call, they raised a ticket and promised to send a technician in a month! After my complaint, they changed it to a week but they canceled it on the same day and arrange another appointment in another week time! Technician solved only one problem and took some pics for the second one. No update for a week and again they schedule another technician to come and took pictures again! No update yet and still waiting for them to come and fix or replace with a new one.

I bought a leather lounge,only 6 moths old,the leather started to wear i contacted the store about it,as soon as they new i had dogs that was it ,no way would they believe that i sit on the couch i was told the dogs had done it and there was no way that the company was going to fix it, so i wouldn't recommend this company at all, and the lounge i bought was 3,000 dollars
Poor quality products at a premium price
The sales service was great but the products post delivery didn't live up to expectations. Taro leather suite sections don't fit together in a seemless fashion, infact it took the delivery guys ages to make one of the end recliners fit. It didn't look right when they did eventually get it to connect but they said that it would "work it's way into shape after using for a while ". Needless to say it hasn't done so after a month. Also the lining under the 2 seater leather couch I bought for the other room sags down underneath and you can see this...as you walk towards the room. Overall very poor quality finishing on these products and would suggest potential customers look elsewhere to purchase a lounge suite. I spent $10,000 and wouldn't use Nick Scali again to buy furniture. Incidentally. I don't usually complain and this is the first negative review I have ever written.
Worst company to deal!!!
Bought a sofa lounge stored it for two months until we moved to the new place opened the packaging and found a tear in the leather. Nick Scali won’t take any responsibility because it’s over two months and said anything could’ve happened in that time. I haven’t even used the sofa the plastic packaging was fine the tear was inside!! Worst people to deal and highly recommend to take your hard earned money somewhere else.
