Disappointed. Zero care once sale complete.
The purchase of our vehicle could not have been much easier for our dealer than this one was. Zero finance, no trade in. A straight cash transfer, paid in full. It was a bit well, how do I say this, a bit crappy when he came with a request for another $500 to seal the deal and wanted an ABN.... After a small delay receiving vehicle which wasn’t a bother we received vehicle with only one key. We were told it would be rectified ASAP. Zero contact has been made with us about this issue. We have called and left messages asking for a call back. Not...a reply has been received. We are left feeling that it’s of zero concern to the dealer now they’ve got our money. I hope this note has not been aggressive and I’ve refrained from using any foul words even though I think this situation is deserving of such profanity’s. I hope no one else has a similar experience and ours is just a one off. What would be worse is if now we get excuses for what’s hapoened. An apology and rectifying the situation is what’s needed, and promptly would help.
Terrible service centre.
Melville Nissan. Asked them to replace tyres, stone guard and service. Never called me. I called asked if it was all done. They said yes so I went to pick it up. Went there and they hadn’t done any of it. Said they ran out of time. But didn’t tell me this on phone. No apology. Just answers from the staff. Man on phone was wearing while I was on hold. Will not be returning.
Great car, terrible after car
I love my X-Trail - bought brand new about 3 months ago. Was too excited to sign up for the new car that I went through Nissan’s finance - first mistake made. I advised that I wanted the loan over 3 years. When this was actually processed, it had been done over 5 years. Also got told that there would be fees included for Nissan finance but didn’t get told it would be almost $2,000 extra! I do take responsibility for signing papers on a 5 year loan as I didn’t read through it properly before picking up the car but I was excited. I would’ve like ...to have been told of the amount of the fees rather than just being told there would be fees. 3 months later and my car has paint peeling on the bonnet. Tell Nissan who advised it’s the wipers so we can’t do anything about it. Take it into Nissan to show my wipers don’t hit it, still say no. I am currently still fighting with them as I refuse to pay for a whole new bonnet on a car that’s barely 3 months old. I am working extremely hard to pay this loan off as quickly as possible to eliminate having to deal with Nissan again.
Couldn't retrieve Radio Code
Nissan Australia directed me to the Nissan Dealer Belconnen ACT to get the 4 digit radio code. I rang 11 times and left my number, unfortunately the staff didnot respond and I went there just to say how can I get radio code. The dealer is unable to get the radio code yet. The Nissan Australia staff rudely said not to approach them to get radio code. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy Nissan cars as customer service is terrible.
Nissan ignore Takata airbag recall
I heard about the recall for Nissan airbags on the radio last year and contacted Nissan to see if my car was affected. I was told it was and to immediately make an appointment with the nearest service centre to have the airbag replaced free of charge. I called the closest centre (Morley) and was told i had to wait for a minimum of three months before it would be looked at because of existing mechanical bookings. I was told the 'airbag situation' had been exaggerated. I then received a letter telling me the airbag had to be changed immediately a...s it could cause serious injury or death. I again contacted the service centre and was told the minimum wait to have it "looked at" was three to six months. I contacted Nissan again and was told to take the car in. I received another letter. Another phone call was made and i was told the same as earlier calls. I then took my car to the next closest service centre (Midland) and spoke to a mechanic there who told me it was going to cost me a minimum of $180.00 to have the airbag looked at before it was removed, 'if necessary', and then there would be added costs for labour and another airbag!! If these airbags are so dangerously urgent and Nissan are apparently recalling them all for free exchange, why am i continually told there is a minimum three month wait due to 'existing mechanical bookings', and why is there a charge?? I understand people have booked their cars in for repair or upkeep, but i would have thought there'd be a separate area specifically for airbag checks and replacements seeing the situation is so urgent. I have received four letters, two of which i have returned in the reply paid envelope with a letter of my own explaining why the airbags in my car haven't been changed or even inspected. I've had no response. I even contacted the media hoping that it would prompt Nissan to sort out the fiasco that leaves many drivers, like myself, unable to have the airbags changed or even checked because of the long waiting period to get our cars in, or the charges when we do get them in. Publicly Nissan urges us to take our cars in, but privately we are ignored and avoided. It's a possible deadly joke!

Lied to me
Tried to get my airbag repaired in the recall through Nissan I called them up they told me my airbags were safe yet I had got a letter saying they needed to be replaced. They refused to replace them yet again I got another letter from Nissan for an urgent replacement saying my airbags could kill or seriously injure someone after Nissan refusing to replace my airbags when I first contacted them after my first letter. Disgusting to deal with when lives are put at risk.
Poor service centre and sales people are a rip off
Bought or nissan from Keema Mt gravatt which was 6 months old (2014 model).
A lady purchased it brand new from Keema nissan then traded it back to them for a bigger car.
Sales person was good but once we purchased it we were sent to another after sales person wjo tried to sell us an extended warranty, paint protection etc for thousands of dollars.
Lucky we didnt as 3 years on we have just found out the original owner purchased an extended warranty until 2020 which we were never told about bu the dealer nor the service centre. We just had th...
Lander Nissan Blacktown
Bought a 2018 Qashqai at Lander Nissan Blacktown. Told of their promotion and the low interest rate 3.9% for 5 years as i did not want 0% for 3 years and a balloon payment at the end. Vitalii was really thorough explaining and was not a pushy sales person. He was upfront about the prices and their promotions.
I recommend Vitalii as a professional at Lander Nissan Blacktown for his knowledge about the cars and knowing about all the options for the interest rates.
Recycled Remote Keyless in spite warranty approved
Nissan Lander Car Service is practicing recycling.
Keyless remotekey was approved by warranty for replacement, but I was given my old remote keyless. They said it was a miscommunication on the part of the technician but the prior warranty approval(PWA) was attached to the paperwork.
Nissan Lander Blacktown - dodgy car service - RECYCLED KEYLESS REMOTEKEY.
Tuesday 20/11/18, I booked our hybrid Pathfinder for a 58k mileage service for 7am to pickup by 4pm. Along with that, I mentioned about the faulty keyless remote key in spite of n...ew battery, we bought an extended warranty when we bought it as new. I complained the engine chatter as well enough for a day to find out the cause of it. Key was recoded during last service and worked in a while but became faulty prior to this 58k service. I have not received any update the whole day that it’s ready for pickup, i tried to call 2x and a certain “koin” said still being checked. I received voice mail @5:29pm that it’s ready for pickup from the service advisor. So wasn’t able to pickup the car and slept overnight at their service center workshop. Wed 21/11/18, 9am I received an update that a remote keyless need to replace as new amounting $375. I complained, as it worked last service after recoding it and advisor insist need to be replaced as it doesn’t recoded anymore. I said okay, but this will be given as feedback on the survey. After an hour, i received a call from asst manager informing me that they will request that the warranty will cover for the new remote keyless and waiting for approval so I won’t pay for it -that’s well appreciated. Re: Engine chatter need me to demonstrate as they can’t simulate it. So I need to be there and demonstrated and just advised to change the petrol and see how it goes, same complaint last service but they didn’t tell me about it.
Thanks Nissan Australia / Product Review
My car was bought in 2013. I Had the same issue when the meter reading was at 77800KM. I called Nissan Australia after reading the reviews on Product review website. I took my vehicle to Dandenong Nissan two weeks ago as I was told to do (Which is the closest to my home)I just had a call from Nissan asking me to pick my vehicle up. Yes, they have fixed it for free replacing with a brand new gear box. I am on my way to Dandenong Nissan.
Please CALL Nissan Australia FIRST. They are aware of this issue & are waiting for your call.
Please please Do NOT pay anyone else, get your car fixed for free. It's a manufacturing error.
My drivers seat split at 50,000km, from a picture Nissan Australia refused the warranty claim. How can they possibly tell from a picture what caused the split.
With nissan it seems to be the customers job to prove faulty parts and workmanship. Not their responsibility to prove its not. fit for purpose what a joke for a top of the range car.
I am the idiot for buying a nissan, in life what other company would you deal with with such a low star rating as Nissan on their customer reviews. This will be my last Nissan.
Attitude towards their customer is very poor. I wouldn't buy any Nissan car after finding out their attitude towards Australian customers. Spoke and emailed few times but they have got no care attitude. I have heard bad things aboit them but now i have and currently experiencing it. I wouldn't recommend any nissan cars. Tag xtrail, pathfinder, navar and all other models
Werribee Nissan have definitely dropped their standards. In 2015 when we purchased a car it was a seamless process from the salesperson the the finance. The lady in finance bent over backwards to help us. Now when we’re wanting to upgrade our car sales was fine as usual but after we signed the contract everything turns sour. Got our first call after the 3 day cooling of period when all documents were give on the day we signed the contract. Was promised a call on Monday with the outcomes. Come Wednesday still no call we had left 5 messages over ...3 days for a call back nothing and then on the 8tj day of calling got an answer and now the dealer is refusing to give our deposit back and the manager and staff we very aggressive and rude!!!! What customer service is this. If you don’t want our business we’re happy to go somewhere else. You get all the excuses and then the main manager undermines what you have to say. I’m very upset at the level of service received in the past we have recommended Nissan and we gave them 3 sales the last time we brought a car but now I would never recommend them.
Nissan's are not what they used to be...
I'm not going into all the detail but in summary we purchase two new Nissan's in 2013 and had nothing but drama's. My wife's car (Nissan Pulsar) had blown a CVT Transmission, Paint missing all over the roof and bonnet (Car has been garaged all its life) and my Dualis has blown 3 CVT Transmissions! These cars are absolute junk and forget Nissan Reliability. The fact that in the US they come with a 10 year transmission warranty and they don't honour that here in AUS. Never ever in my lifetime will I purchase a Nissan nor recommend to anyone! Steer Clear people and go for something else!
magic Nissan Melville Service
Every time I have had my Nissan serviced here under their "fixed price" service they always try to talk me into having extra work done. I feel this is a con and they will sting you for extra work. I will not be returning and instead using local mechanics who will usually give fixed quotes and not just call you and put you on the spot.
Issues with a new Nissan Xtrail from bought from lander Nissan blacktown
I noticed an excessive engine sound and rattling noises in the cabin. Took to Lander service at Prospect highway thrice. They couldn't fix it and finally said everything is as per Nissan Standard. Contacted Nissan customer care, they do not have complaints department here. They backed the dealer's view and advised to contact External grievance redressal forums. They simply abandoned the issue. #StayawayfromNissaninAustralia
Cannot honestly find a single positive interaction - wish their was a 0 or negative rating choice.
2014 Qashqai Ti purchased from Castle Hill Nissan - fully serviced, single driver vehicle with city driving only - clutch fails at 40,000km - went to NCAT tribunal and dismissed as I didn't have an expert opinion. I have had personal insults and threats from Dealership principle throughout and after process! Considering the principals dealer behaviour it is no surprised the staff are lacking such simple customer focus and professionalism - stinking off smoke, smoking in full view of customers, swearing in earshot of customers, zero follow up wi...th queries and commitments. 4 years on and they still cannot get my keyless entry to work consistently - since day 1 I have difficulties with this leading to inability to lock, unlock or start car and even the car shutting down with my young girls inside and whilst doing 100KM/h on a freeway! I have had over 7 different make vehicles in my life and Nissan without a doubt take the cake as the greatest blatherskites and oxygen thief fleshbags by far. I will note single out any individual from service as both equally incompetent, one is more interested in chatting up the blonde administrator whilst the other incorrectly enters a simple email 5 times! Hopeless - hopeless - useless. Engage at one's peril.
Questions & Answers
Anyone been done wrong by by Nissan Neil Beer?
Also did not receive original tyres/ rims or suspension back because you paid full price for others to be put on. And to top it off charged full price for a suspension kit not installed in the car?
why is Nissan allowed to get away with the bad way in which they treat customers with legitimate issues. aren't these reviews enough to spark some legal fall back? They are happy to take your money but when dangerous issues occur in the vehicle they have no real care factor. CVTs are putting peoples lives in danger and they still repair but the problems come back.
I Got my Nissan Quashqai on March 2015.
There is peel off of Colour in the front of my vehicle and inside at the doors too. we went to Liverpool Nissan. they Clicked photo and send it to the main office. we got a call saying that since the warranty has expired and we need to pay for that one after having certain discount.
I have one question to them its been 3 years 5 months that we have purchased, is Nissans quality that cheap that its colour tears apart not even riding 4 years? If any customer wants photos please email me at [email removed]
I am highly disappointed with Nissan and would request all new buyers to rethink about buying Nissan.
I have recently done servicing for 80000km and paid $436. Nothing has changed. No smoothness nothing. I dont know why we were charged that much and they said for 80000km there will be special servicing? Is this the servicing that they referred?
I would like to request all new customers to rethink before buying Nissan product.
