Purchased a brand new Nissan Navara Pro in November 2021 to tow a camper trailer. I had a company car so only drove the car on weekends. We took it off road the first week of January and was getting malfunction warning lights coming on and the usb function kept disappearing so you could not play music through the USB at all every-time this happened. I got some time off work so booked the car into Nissan in Midvale and said it’s the only car I have so I will have to wait for it.
I sat there for nilly 5 hours only to be told they didn’t know how...

92k before parting with it. Due solely to your inability to address warrentee issues within a reasonable time frame. We had to fight for over 6 months to get identified warrentee issues at 80k addressed by the service department. It made us sell the vehicle and buy a ranger. My wife wanted an another Nissan. I will never give you 70k plus to be treat like crap.

I have a 2018 ST Manuel. We have spared no expense on kitting the car out for travelling. The car has been regularly serviced and has 49000km on the clock. About 3 weeks age it had a major serviced by Nissan Hillcrest QLD which cost over $700. Then 3 or 4 days later we noticed a oil leak coming for the car. We took it back to Nissan and they told us the leak wouldn't be covered under warranty as we had fitted a catch can. We fitted the catch can from new and Nissan Hillcrest had very mentioned it before went it had been serviced by them. They also told me they took photos of the catch can and forwarded to Nissan Australia and charger me $160 and wouldn't say were the leak was from. Turned out to be a rear main seal. Like WTH Nissan.

Car is used daily around regional town, no issues so far, quite comfortable, a few more safety features which are handy, use ute every other day on 4WD beach, cannot fault the cars capabilities in powdery sand
I have noticed though a few minor issues the vehicle tends to come up with warning regarding side radar as per photo
Really happy so far a good solid ute - big fan of the old Navara

I purchased the car new in 2018, and overtime I realised there was water inside on the tub liner, now that I was aware of this I tried to workout how this was happening. what I have found is that when you drive in the rain that water is entering inside of the tub liner coming in over both wheel arches. I have removed one side of the tub liner and put a hose under the wheel arch to find that the water is entering through a hole in the tub liner from how the tub was made, the water enters through the hole and runs along a small lip and then start...
Read mores to drip down onto inside of the tub liner over the wheel arches and there for is inside of your tub. At present I’m trying to fix it as Nissan says you have to go through your dealership. As I use the car to run my business this is very hard to have the vehicle off the road with down time, other than that the car has been greatPurchased in December 2018 for $45,000.

First Motor blew a head gasket at 100,000km without any warning, removal and refitting of motor alone is $3,000 parts were only genuine and hard to source, best choice was a used motor with 60,000km that has now thrown a conrod bearing and will be $1500 to take motor out before parts and labour on stripping the engine for repair, the YS23DDTT motor is absolute rubbish, love the truck but if I can help it will not run the risk of yet another lemon of a motor.

Great Family as a dual STX luxury cab with twin turbo 2.4 Diesel
We use our car daily for work commuting and also recreational such as towing a tandom ski boat.
Hence the Twin turbo 2.4 Diesel provides both power for towing but fuel economy.
The grand children call it Grand Pa Tuck because it achieves so much.
STX luxury cab also has all the comfort and high tech features

I use this vehicle on the farm, on fishing trips, 4x4 driving and for general transport. I tow a large boat and also a double wheel trailer. I have completed 75 km in less than 2 yrs. I regularly have it serviced and it is my 3rd Navara.
It is made tough and goes anywhere. A car for me has to be used and it it constantly tested on beaches, sandhills and in the bush.
It has stood up excellently and there have not been any mechanical issues. A excellent utility which is always loaded to the max

Capable off road and good towing ability. Bit gutless at low revs off road but fine once in low range. This is the third Navarra I’ve had in np300 range and all been great.

Bought brand new in 2015. Drove it for 5 years and clocked up 180,000 Klms. With no issues to speak of.
Head unit was replaced under warranty.
Engine/gearbox etc was perfect. Lots of torque. And very comfortable.
Surprised at just how good the French Engine is.
When sold last year, it had original clutch and brakes on it.
Got 2021 model now.
Purchased in September 2015.
Questions & Answers
I have just purchase a 2021 ST-X Navara. I have had it 3 months and love it! I am thinking of updating my Caravan to something bigger with a GMV of 3100kg. I am a little worried as to the Navara handling it as there are some reviews saying that the technical max tow weights of 3500kg are very optimistic (this goes for a number of other 4x4 as well) i.e it’s marketing spin and while technically possible may not meet our expectations.
There do not seem to be any reviews specific to the latest Navara towing a larger family Van. Does anyone have experience with this combination? How does it perform on cruising speeds, hills, handling, ride and fuel?
Hi I have been towing a single axle 2744 kg GTM (290 kg ball weight) off road van with my new 2021 ST-X automatic and I am very impressed. I previously owned from a 2015 ST-X series 1 that I had no p...
