So now with a pre end of warranty inspection by Boettcher Motors Ipswich, they didn't pick up the leaking transfer seal. Now 6 weeks out of warranty, another service provided picked it up. So why didn't Nissan recall and fix them all. The service provider has fixed heaps with this same problem. Boettcher Motors admitted it has the problem with all the X-trails up to the current year. They have noted the problem and fixed it for the 2008 model. SO why not a recall? Why don't they fix it for free? Because it is a five hour job, that is wh...y!!! Not happy, as you can tell. have written before and love the car, but not Nissan themselves!! BUT apparently they have a problem where the transfer seal in the engine leaks. Told by repairer that they have had heaps in to repair. SO WHY DIDN'T NISSAN RECALL AND FIX THEM ALL!!
Cheap car, cheap components= expensive repair!
