Best mouse traps ever!
Have been using this trap since hitting Australian market, would love to buy more if possible, bunnings not selling anymore , 100% success rate with these unit , go to stock and station agents to buy the rubber ring used to casterate lambs $15.00 for a container not sure how many in it. Have 15 traps and if time can apply rings 3 times and catch at least 45 mice a day dont have to worry about cats eating poisoned mice
Purchased for $10.99.
Works great, slightly fragile build.
Mouse trap works a treat, 1 star off as I have had a couple break the small plastic lip at front that holds the rubber ring in place rendering the trap useless.
Purchased in January 2020.
After about 3 weeks it caught a rat. Used peanut butter and sultanas as the bait. Easy to setup.
It sat undisturbed for 2 weeks. One misfire happened before it caught the rat.
Note - Death is not instant as claimed on the packaging.
Purchased in December 2019 at Bunnings Warehouse for $20.00.
Works really well...just a bit difficult to load
I bought 2 Mousetraps since I was tired of watching the little fellas run under the fridge and into the dishwasher cupboard. Thought I was getting an infestation!
Works really well...just a bit difficult to load. Took me an hour or so to get the hang of it, but I can do it now.
Caught 3 mice within 30 minutes (using peanut butter!). Very impressed. Put them in the compost...earth to earth... I AM a priest! But not a Buddhist (though sympathetic!)
Haven't caught any since, suspect I've got them all!!...Did I really need to buy two traps? .......
Purchased in October 2019 at Bunnings Warehouse.
Really good result
Brought the Nooski based on a few reviews online and didn't want to use poison. Had many mouse droppings in cabinet below sink and knew we had a few, so put 2 Nooskis in and within 30mins had 2 deceased mice. Really happy with outcome so far and looks as though they died relatively quickly.
Purchased in April 2019 for $10.00.
10 minutes. Literally 10 minutes for the first mouse
Summary: Effective, caught it but band went around the body not the head so it's been 20 minutes and it's still squirming the top half of the body. bottom half is dead I assume.
Whole story: So I heard them in the roof and bought the Rat Sized one for outside. Although I used the organic peanut butter - no takers.
Then during the day I saw a mouse go under my dishwasher. During the Day! THE NERVE. So I set up the rat sized one as that's all I had and set up my night vision motion cameras. I also then added the normal non-organic peanut butter.... As expected, it went it grabbed what it wanted and then explored my floor for the whole night. The next day I got the mouse sized one, put in normal peanut butter and in 10 minutes as I'm eating and watching TV I hear a CLICK and then I see the mouse writhing around. It was quite small so it got it around the body and not it's neck so it's still alive as I type this review to procrastinate clearing it's body. Let's hope it's the only one...
Waste of money
Haven't caught a thing. The trap has been activated twice and both times the rubber ring was lying there without a rat in it. Used nutela as the bait and it was all gone.
This trap is not better than snap traps
I am a licensed pest control technician in Melbourne Victoria. One day I came across the Nooski Mouse trap at a local Bunnings warehouse. I was curious about its claims about trapping mice. I bought one and put it to test and compared it to snap traps. To my disappointment, it was not performing better than snap traps but worse.
Does exactly as advertised.
I was horrified to discover a mouse was sharing my living room on the odd night. Hated the thought of a trap that maimes the rodent & didn't like the idea of catching a live one. Bought this, set it & forgot about it thinking the mouse had gone elsewhere. One week later, I discovered the dead mouse next to the trap & although it's unpleasant, the band hits it with perfect precision. Just hoping it did die within 10 seconds. Guilt ridden!
Very effective, be aware of where you buy it
This is a good and effective product. However watch where you purchase it. From EBay you can pay up to $41.00 for the trap and $20 for a packet of 20 rings. From Bunnings you will pay $20.00 for the trap and $4.00 for a packet of 20 rings. I know where I bought mine.
