Excellent: just what i needed – Great treadmill. Easy to use. At my local gym, you get on a treadmill and set the speed and start running. When you had enough you press STOP. Easy no iFit. You can check your stats on iWatch. However, iFit is a great app to use. Lots of expert trainers to help. There are free treadmill apps on the Apple app store, however the apple iWatch fitness app is the best as it starts and stops automatically and records all your personal workout info.

Largely useless without iFit subscription – Purchased the Nordictrack S25i Treadmill because it specifically had a large number of onboard workouts. After being unable to find any information in the manual, in the app or online I rang Icon Fitness. Their response was that there was no documentation of the workouts for any of their treadmills and if I wanted to know what each did then I would have to try each of them out. Given that there are 24 workouts and each lasts at least 20 minutes, I can think of better uses of 8 hours of my time.

If you dont have a iFit subscription or if Icon ever discontinue the iFit service you are left with a largely dumb treadmill.

There are better treadmills for the same price that don't try to lock you into an expensive subscription service.
