North Coast Shower Screens and Wardrobes

We recently built a new house and our builders used Sydney Shower Screens/Kolder. At the time of moving in we noticed the pantry shelving was sagging and coming away from the wall and that there was no support underneath the bottom shelf. The shelving was also fitted crookedly against the wall, was sloping forwards and not at a 90 degree angle.

Something seriously wrong with the management at the Warner's Bay store. Two small built in wardrobes turned into a 7 month extremely stressful debacle. Measurements wrong 4 times, products repeatedly chipped, damaged and ill fitting, damage to our property etc. The more they came out the worse they made it. One debacle after another, after another, after another, after another. So many appointments, so many tradies just not turning up at all, so much chasing things up, so much stress! 3 times out to fit doors, wrong ones to short then damaged, now different doors on 2 wardrobes and one not good fit. Customer service nil

would not recommend using this company ,we had used them before a few years back with minimal drama ,this time however it has been a nightmare ,doesn't seem to worry them that they lost out on an extra three wardrobes , a walk in wardrobe 3 shower screens and some mirrors eventually bad business and pathetic service and lies will always catch up with a business .

The robes are neat and perfectly installed. Installer took a lot of pride in his work and was super professional. Quote was quick and easy. We got 2 that were so good we ended up getting 2 more. Please note that nobody who gets a good robe is motivated to review, but all the annoyed people are. And all the bad reviews I read were about quotes, not product! Mostly related to timing, which is garbage, they are always on time, and even once we weren't home they came out again (our fault, not theirs, as I suspect many of the bad reviews fail to acknowledge). If you want good built ins for cheaper than an Ikea flat pack that look great then this is the company to use.

Didn't show up on install day. Showed up the following day and all he measurements were incorrect so for another wk - my sons room was a shambles! draws, wood & sawdust everywhere! 2 large sliding doors also sitting in my carport. And finally today they were meant to be here but first things and it is almost 11am and no one is here AGAIN! 3 calls to the office and they keep saying someone will call me back.

I bought 2 wardrobes & a shower screen as part of my new home renovations. The service, quality and price has blown me away. Would recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade or change to their house.

We had a few quotes for a wardrobe from various companies.
Varying degree of assistance and simple manners from sales reps.
Varying degree of punctuality-some were 2 hours late.
Varying degree of price....a massive difference.
North Coast were the cheapest, rep was right on time, didn't pressure us at all and knew his stuff.
I'm in sales, myself, and could easily have offered the guy a job on the spot.
Anyway, service throughout was very good, but we did have an issue on installation which, I believe, was nobodies fault, just one of those...

Asked for quotes for 5 wardrobes in 2 rental units. 2 quotes rcvd were wrong design, 3 quotes had wrong address, installer made no attempt to clean up his mess, no customer service, worst contractor I have hired in 46 years, will not use them again & do NOT recommend.

Rang for a quote on wardrobe shelving guy turned up was rude completely uninterested still waiting for quote over 3 weeks for simple job have rang 3 times promised will have it tommorow also had a shower screen fitted a few years ago. Took them 5 attemps to get it in due to them damaging it in transit a few times and then insaller damaging it then not installed to standard. Stay away I should have learnt the first time.

Purchased a shower screen and not happy with it
Very difficult to clean due to the way it's been designed and we wouldn't recommend these screens
The installer used sealant that obviously wasn't mould resistant and after only a few months the sealant needs removing due to the mould under the sealant
Not impressed with the design or quality

Started job in October. Finally turned up 23rd of March to take doors back and damaged the door jamb getting their tracks off. I have gone elsewhere and am hopeful things can't get worse than this lot. Made appointments and never kept them. Did internals and still never got doors. I spat it and said come and get your stuff back. Do not use this company they are a disaster waiting to happen.

Miscalculated measurements, made and cancelled last minute or mostly just didn't show up to install dates, do not communicate between staff, turned up without wardrobe doors just the shelving, then another install date to install tracks, couldn't install doors so still waiting on doors and another no show. What a circus! This has been going on since January and has been more stress than it's worth. Would seriously not recommend to anyone.
