Exceptional online customer service
Due to an auto payment deduction I had recent contact with Norton customer service via online chat. It was by far the easiest and kindest experience online. My issue was resolved immediately and the person was super kind in her responses. I was so impressed, thank you Norton.
My family have been users for almost a decade it's that good!
Preface: In order to save possible confusion the following review is about Norton Mobile's Norton Security and Antivirus, which is a part of Norton and available through the Google Play Store for Android apps
I'll say at the start of this review I'm focusing on the issues of: usability, services provided & overall value for money.
This is an internet & smart device protection service for Android devices. It's incredibly easy to use and extremely thorough and efficient....It's simple to set up and completely embraces the KISS PRINCIPLE (Keep It Simple Stupid). Norton mobile protection is comprehensive and definitely offers more services than I probably can list or even use, some things I hope never to have need of such as finding my devices location on a map or remotely wiping personal information from a device's memory because it's been lost or stolen. Backing up your phone numbers etc so if your device dies or is lost you haven't lost it all is another handy facet of the service. Literally I just set it up, it's as easy as putting on a seat belt, adjusting the mirrors and starting your car. After that everything is on automatic and that's the end of the worry. It fades into the background.
Questions & Answers
IS there a physical Australian postal address where I can send a complaint to Norton? A post office box would do.
I have recently installed Norton 360 Premier on an older laptop which previously had Trend micro (with no problems), but now every time I shut down or sleep the laptop on restarting or resuming the clock has reset to when the computer was initially set up in 2008. Does this happen to anyone else and how do I fix it?
Most likely you CMOS battery is dead, that keeps your date and time and trickle charges when the PC/Laptop is switched on. However they do have a shelf life, 5 to 10 years. They can be bought on the internet but some are not easy to locate as they can be tucked away.
